I have been using this for a while, on and off. I love it, makes it easy to track stuff when doing reviews of things that need to be fixed on websites. However lately, i'm unable to correctly capture the Entire Page. It has been working exactly as the the "Visible Page" option for me...So i keep needing to take multiple screenshots by manually scrolling the page, which is inconvenient :(

Usually works flawlessly, but the past few days, it hasn't been triggering when I want it to. Anything I can do?

wow much more easier to do than my mac ss. i'll defintely keep using this for a long time. the only thing i think is inconvient like is how it always start with arrow tool

HOLY SHEAT. I've been looking for a really good screenshot tool for a while but chrome has enough really good apis for screenshots to where there are like 15000 crummy, half-baked screenshot extensions, and most of the better ones have an overcomplicated UI, use way too much cpu, or upload your photos to their server for processing. This has most of the features I want in a screenshot tool, and doesn't have any of the ones I don't want. However, I do have to say that if you're trying to really accurately capture an area (like near pixel perfect), this extension isn't always the best, but I'd consider that relatively minor. (for capturing areas really neatly, I use lightshot, but there are plenty other good ones for that).

Actually, my 5 stars are a bit premature, since I JUST downloaded the extension. However, it looks easy to use with just the types of features I am looking for! I work at home doing a variety of product and tech support, customer advocacy, etc., and I frequently need to either take/submit screenshots myself with a trouble ticket, etc., or to share product features and other types of resources with customers. I'm looking forward to trying it out!! Thank you.

After editng my screen it did require me to buy a paid version or it sticks a water mak what a waste of time so disapointed

Nice and simple tool!.

I was thinking to stop using the FVD Nimbus version because of recent updates have ruined a good thing. But this one as a replacement is missing two features I enjoy having in the FVD Nimbus version like an ability to enable/disable an overlay onscreen countdown timer. And the ability to capture the tabs sounds. This extension captures from the mic only and no premium option to capture the tab sounds. FVD Nimbus allows sound capture from either tab or mic. To capture here, is simpler. Click to capture, click to stop. The FVD version is a bit buggy and sometimes won't stop if we've hidden the sharing notification. I was hoping it would at least have similar functions like the tab sound capture, but it does not. Even as a premium option, I'd consider donating because FVD recently changed their capture engine and now their tools are buggy. But it's not quite there yet as it can't/won't capture the tab sounds. I use the screen record tool of the FVD version to record gameplay to create mini how-to (mic) or create proofs for bug testing purposes (tab sounds). And this version only allows mic recording with no option to record tab sounds. So the 3-star rating remains IMO. If he adds the countdown and tab record option that rating would change to a 4 or 5. If I'm in love with the tool, then heck ya, I'll donate, but its not quite there yet.

Excellent to upload directly to Google Drive!

I paid 2 times on 2 different computers to remove the watermark. However, the Watermark is back on one of my computer. So why did I pay? Seriously? I paid a donation on my laptop a few months ago that works fine. I paid also a donation on my desktop and the watermark was removed for a few days but now is back.

Can't see why anyone would not give the extension 5 stars. Does exactly what the author says. Lots of options and very simple to use. Actually replaces a software and another extension for me:) Great job!

I used to LOVE this extension, and I think the author is very talented. But a recent update has added a "watermark" to every screen shot. No thanks, that's just poor taste. It's presented as free, yet adds a watermark to coerce you to pay money for it. There are plenty of other screenshot extensions available (for free) with no watermarks. This is really a disappointment, I hope he doesn't try and force monetize his other extensions.

I tried all the screenshot extensions and this one is the best. Little permissions easier on the memory advanced options. Bravo a pleasure to use and a must have extension for all.

I love the simplicity of this tool. Simply grab your screenshot, mark it up as needed, download and share. Pretty straightforward.

Nice and simple. Just installed and love it. Would be nice if it supported hitting Esc to cancel a screengrab but not a big deal. I think the Blur could be 'stronger' so as not to require passing over an area a lot of times. Could Highlight only affect the background colour or, like Blur, just be stronger in its effect?

This is one of my go-to apps for daily use. Extremely easy to use but loaded with powerful features. The developer keeps it updated and is responsive to inquiries. Highly recommended!

easy to use and working like a charm

I used this app for 2-3 weeks and then it stopped working and said "taking screenshots has been disabled". I have reinstalled the extension twice and have reset my Chome browser settings. I literally used this multiple times a day for two weeks and then it just stopped working. Any ideas on how to fix it?

great little app/extension for my new chrome book, no gripes but if only i could have used android pay to contribute (its a bit quicker is all ;p) instead of pay-pal...any who thanks for such great work

The menu bar of the viewer and image editor window too much space, so it's hard to use on the laptop. - Zoom feature is faulty. - Photos taken in ultra low-quality jpeg (lower than png selection)

good , easy to use, like the pencil is large so i don't have to reset . minus for not able to capture out of browser. another minus for full page script error

I didn't notice the watermark but I guess it fine for me. The only thing missed is the ability to share videos. Yes, it has Youtube already but screenshots are not something that should be on youtube. I hope there will be a way to share without creating any account (just like sharing screenshots)

NOW it only grabs the left half of the captured part. But there is ALWAYS something not working right, them you have to pay money to get rid of the watermark, whereas you don't pay anything on other apps that do the same thing!

Easily the best screenshot extension for Chrome. I use it every day as a web developer.

The watermark is very annoying and makes half of the images useless. No hotkeys. Pretty slow.

Huge watermark made it useless for me. To remove it, you need to pay, hence not free. Misleading. Other than that, the features seem to be nice, too bad of no application for me

For many years I have been looking for something that would enable me to screen grab and mark on the grabs, now here's an app that does all that and more! Gone are the days of my having to screen grab, open Photoshop, edit, save, upload, etc. THANK YOU Mr. Savard for this amazing app. I really appreciate it. ...AND it's FREE?!?

Why these huge watermarks!!? (Then say it is not free) I remove it because it is not as good as the other extension from developer

I like the extension but it has some issues: 1-Do one zoom in and one zoom out, and instead of getting the same original picture, you get a blurred version. Repeat the process a few times and you'll see. 2-Instead of typing on a 1 character box and then adapt it to the text, it creates a long box that makes it difficult to type more words to the right.

Perfect! with this there is no more need to print screen & paste to paint then save and then attached to email. Simple to use and has many output/share options available. Well done Jason.

Simple and effective. While I generally use OneNote for screen grabbing, doing anything with those screenshots is kludgy. I tried this out (after becoming a fan of Savard's other Chrome extensions) and this is probably his best extension. The ability to draw on the image and add text is phenomenal. It isn't perfect (I'd give this 4.5 stars) but it's better than most applications I've seen. While it is limited to Chrome, a lot of my work is done with the browser, so this is almost a must-have right now. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Just replaced my Lightshot with this. So much better.

It's OK. The Arrows and Annotations are nice and seem to work well but they just aren't something I really need. Basically I just want something to save screenshots. This one does okay if the webpage is longer than the screen but it fails when the page is wider. So it's probably just what you need if you need to draw/write on the screenshot but might be a bit overkill if you just want to save a capture.

Copy to clipboard doesnt work.

It's easiest screenshots extension, I really like it!. But it needs somethings (like callouts). Generally It's very usful. I recommend it. Thank you.

This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. I edit and make recommendations for other people's websites. This extension allows me to make text notes, circle things, draw lines, etc., directly on the web page and easily share it with my client. It's so much easier to use than everything else I've tried. Thank you!

Good and lightweight but a while ago some of my emails were lost - including the one that could confirm previous donation. Maybe if we could just use our email to ping the database and unlock previously unlocked features on a new device.. Going with a different extension for now.

He thinks this is worth contributing a donation to unlock features when there is so many better addons that are full featured for free. It's not the biggest innovation ever created. Create something NEW then ask for donations to unlocl features. You cant call something free and then hide the fact that it's not under the word "donation" or "contribute". It still means "not free". 1 star

Doesn't work on retina display - after taking a screenshot, it only copies 1/4 of the selection to the app...

Love the material UI since most other screenshot extensions have outdated interface. FYI: I picked this extension mainly because it has "copy" feature, is newly updated and is relatively smaller in size. What drive me away is the watermark. I'm fine with that "a bit too many" "in-app purchases", but I don't see it anywhere that watermark could be removed by donation. Watermark is a BIG NO.

This is great because aside from annotation tools (simple but easy to use), you can copy screen images direct to emails etc. - something which seems to be not possible with many other Chromebook apps. I'll be using this for that purpose even when not using annotation tools.

ok, because it just works, but for a "safe" extension, you do sure track your users with google analytics.

I don't often rate extensions and apps. However, this extension deserves a good word. It's easy to use, there when I need it and it gives great control over captures. I love it. I found it by accident when I was trying your other extensions, which are also far above average, and it came to me just at the right time. So glad it did!

I tried about 10 other screenshot extensions before this. This is the only one that allows me to quickly take a screenshot of a PDF open in chrome, then be able to right click and copy it. Most don't even let you take screenshots of PDFs. Very useful for compiling notes with diagrams.

Only free extension I've ever voluntarily sent $$$ to. It stays active & never mysteriously disappears. I've never had to hunt it down, wake it up, or reinstall it.... Has never let me down & the developer is easily reached and responsive. Save yourself time & aggravation trying other available extensions. Just get this one.
