It's an amazing feed reader i have tried a lot of them and i have switched to this after using quietRSS for nearly 8 years. Hope you can add the following features:- 1) the ability to add sub folders as you can only add folders. 2) Ability to Choose a location where all the rss data will be stored such that people can point the location to onedrive and point it there in another computer thus able to sync with multiple devices.

This is a great extension. Makes it easy to follow and keep up to date with RSS feeds. Feedbro has now replaced Feedly as my RSS reader of choice. The only thing that's missing is a way to synchronise feeds between devices. If there was a way to do this it would elevate this extension from great to absolutely perfect. Thanks for putting the effort into developing and maintaining it.

Good RSS feed readers are hard to find - but I have been very impressed with this one and don't plan to switch. I host a radio show, podcast(s), and am a bit of a news junkie. I love that I can set the max age of an article so I can scan through the feeds every few days and not see the same stories over and over like I do with other news apps. I've not had an issue, appreciate that I can export/import feeds to another computer and even that process is simple and effective. Does everything I want and need. Absolutely five stars every day of the week.

It is generally a great app, especially after trying out many other windows rss readers, I find this one the most convenient with a lot of functions! What's more, it is being actively maintained. I do have a few small suggestions: 1. Would be great if it can connect and sync with other online services such as the Old Reader. 2. UI and buttons may improve to keep up with more modern designs 3. Please consider a search function. 4. Cannot remove duplicate articles (articles with the same title) 5. The font size of my subscription list on the left panel is too small. Cannot adjust. Thank you.

One of my favorite extensions. Amazing power for an extension. I wish it can save my feeds on a cloud drive, so I can use this easily on multiple computers. I do this manually now export/import opml files using dropbox.

I would love to have a sync across computers so I didn't have to import my feeds and settings into every computer I have, but I'm OK with importing the OPML. However, there's no option to import/export the settings so those have to be done manually and that's no fun.

If your having trouble reading your Twitter feeds in Feedbro change your url's to filter through nitter.net. EX: https://nitter.net/twitterperson/rss and your feedbros will not only work but nitter will provide you with privacy protections. Great extension!

I am a blind computer user and since the great old days of the Google reader, Bloglines, and RSSOwl, no RSS readers have been properly blind accessible. This one is. I'm also very impressed at the speed that it manages to maintain with so many features, feeds, and feed items. I still have a Windows app that holds my 1,000 feeds and hundreds of thousands of feed items, as that kind of use will probably overwhelm Feedbro, but this is my primary reader that holds my 100 favourite feeds that I read every day or two. The full text reading and rules for notifications and retrieval are great treats. thank you.

I was very impressed by the simplicity and straightforwardness of their PageProbe extension so I decided to give this one a try and it's GREAT too! As someone who is privacy conscious, I inspect the code from any extension before utilizing it and found this one to be clean of signs of obvious trackers/analytics throughout. Obviously the powers that be can still track you, but the author of this extension isn't creating it to harvest your personal data or anything. I give it a big TWO THUMBS UP!

A 3, just. This does at least work, unlike all other RSS extensions I've tried so far, and is very simple to use. To add a new feed is simplicity itself if you have the url, which I do. However, the feed I added has 1000 entries when viewed in internet explorer (100 is that application's maximum so there are likely more), I set the maximum to be displayed to 2000 and all I can see is 12. That is I think a bug. On the plus side, the mp3 file is displayed and can be manually downloaded easily by right clicking on it and clicking save link as. When viewing the same feed on internet explorer though I can subscribe to this same feed and in the settings have it download the mp3 files automatically. I'm still looking for this feature on ANY extension for chrome and I simply cannot understand why it isn't included with any extension.

The more I use Feedbro, the more I love it. Feedbro is now one of my main start pages that allows me to see what I want, when and how I want to. I can now group sites I go to frequently by type and see the parts I want without having to go to each and every website to see it. Cant wait till I learn more about how to use this extension to get full use of it.

Antonio Savage November 26th, 2019

This extension is without a doubt the best RSS reader, paid or unpaid available. It has so many darn features while still being FREE! Thank you dev for this amazing extension! One way that I use this extension is at my work where I have a list of vendors that we use and their status feeds subscribed to. Whenever I get an alert from this extension, I know that there may be an issue with a service and to look into it.

Eadwine Rose August 13th, 2019

Awesome so far. Was looking for the ability to search in a folder with news feeds, but didn't find that. However I could sort that out by making a rule that once a feed article comes in with a certain text in the title the thing automatically gets starred, and I should then find them in the starred overview, nicely sorted. Wait and see as I have just set this up. But I really like it!

I have been looking a long time for a news reader that meets all my needs. And Feedbro is the closest one to having everything I want. I say "closest" because unfortunately yes even Feedbro is missing some features, design and options I really want. I won't explain them here and leave that for the suggestions area. But Feedbro is definitely a 5 Star News Reader!!! :) I hope the developers can make some of the changes I will be asking for which would just take Feedbro to the next level! Anyway if you want the overall best news reader then try Feedbro!!!

I love Feedbro as it allows me to consolidate a variety of sources in just one place. I recently found out that it is also possible to subscribe to Facebook feeds and other social. And that's even greater news! Unfortunately Facebook posts all are returned without any information and uniformly have a No title headline. Can you fix that?

De Copi January 10th, 2018
De Copi

This is a terrible add-on, slow, broken, heavy, eating tons of RAM/CPU etc. Worst, the authors of this terrible add-on delete most of the negative reviews. They keep only reviews they want. The question is: If they manipulate and delete reviews, if they don't accept critics, if they etc... how to trust them? PS: I already reported them for abuse. And if they keep deleting my reviews, I will report them again.

i'm liking the extension so far. it could use cloud backup functionality for its databases such as the opml subscriptions, what was marked as read and extension settings for easy restoration in case of browser corruption and synchronization between browsers. google drive or dropbox are decent places to store those.

Works great with subreddits. Works well with Twitter but it also notifies me of the ads on a user's feed too. If anyone knows how to exclude those, that'd be great. The rules for notifications are a bit confusing. I wish it were simpler.

I found it easy to import my feeds, and the flexible layout options are great for feeds that are heavily image-based (e.g. tumblr). The developer was also highly responsive when I submitted a problem/suggestion. Thank you for the great extension!

Overall, a great reader in terms of efficiency and ease of use. Only drawback I can think of is that the interface for making rules is a bit clunky.

This is the best reader I've seen so far, but... I can't import http://store.steampowered.com/feeds/news.xml - it says "602 Invalid Content-Type". Please remove restrictions on content-type and let the parser guess whether it's an RSS feed or not.

This is a lifesaver. I can finally organize youtube subscriptions! Please add the ability to scroll when using drag and drop. Would make sorting much easier. Thanks!

Marko Savic March 25th, 2017
Marko Savic

It has a lot of good options and it is organized well, BUT...there are two major bugs...I have a huge subscription list, and when I want to drag n' drop into folders, the list is not moving up, so I have to release the item, scroll up, move it up again, release, scroll up, move it up again...it is really a problem. Next problem is that you can't specify where your folders are added because when you make a folder it always goes at the bottom of the list.

So far so GOOD ! Where it differs from others - less clutter, and even if not looked at for days isnt an endless list of items. Unnecessary 2nd line indicating site in View Mode 2 when we already know which site we are viewing. pop-up preview review: --------------------------------- wasted real estate with 2nd line, could just show icon on left instead Option to prio site and limit no. of entries to show would be nice Ability to filter duplicates would be nice

Senne Malcorps November 16th, 2016

Great reader! Gets right what few rss-readers do, the possibility to mark items (un)read AND delete. Extensive rule system, tags, folders, opml support, finding (sometimes) hidden feeds, column view mode, dark theme, notifications. All these things together make this the only reader I can bear to use. Props to the dev(s?)!

SUDIPTO BOSE

simply outstanding, undoubtedly the best feed reader currently among standalone and browser based.neat, lean and low resource guzzling.excellent loading of all those modern graphics rich feeds.adding/deleting folders/feeds is cakewalk.one reason of its superiority is the browser it is embedded in,the most advanced browser of the world.i particularly rave about its podcast listening and watching capability,of hd audio and video, within the extension itself in rss feed format.best feedreader ever made.

You are about to read some bad English and I am really sorry about it I am not a native English speaker. Hey Developer, First of all I want to say thank you for your continuous work on this awsm extension but there is one thing that keeping your extension from being a perfect RSS viewer Let the user view rss directly from the popup I really don't want to waste my time on first open the popup and then go to the page even after that check each folder on the page so as you can see It really a time wasting work can you plx just add a choice on setting page on feedbro extension icon click to view the RSS directly from the popup I really like this extension and I hope you will continue work on it.

Finally. An advanced feed reader that does exactly what you want it to. I tried Inoreader and Feedly for craigslist car searches, and they just did not do what I needed, plus the interface was confusing. With Feedbro, I knew exactly what to click (new folder, then add feed), and it just worked. Awesome!

Best feed reader I've seen, integrated in the browser where it belongs, no additional software to install or separate windows to open. Great magazine like layout and folder aggregated views.
