Hello, I want the chrome extension back because it's now updated to 105 or more for chrome version which I cannot update it because of It's expired which I'm using an Chromebook which is dead. I have to get a new device but the extension is still good but I miss it so much because I hate when you can no longer use it because you have to update it. Is there an github with all the versions?

Fantastic, everything I would want from a new tab page with all of the horrible bloat on Edge's default new tab page. Bonus points for the extremely easy colour customization - it would be almost expected for this not to be included, but the fact that I can easily match it to the theme colour of my browser makes it feel even more professionally-made than Microsoft's own.

I just can't use Chromium browsers without this!

Recent issue maybe to do with new Chrome update on linux, only loading maybe half the links at first, then with a little moving up and down the page the rest show up.

great! but when i click the link in "recent close tab", the link open in a new window of chrome rather than in current tab or new tab of current window.

I love this app and have been using it forever. I've never found anything better, simple, and so useful. The ability to show lots of links in lists organized by bookmark, other device, recent, is just so genius.

It's a great, versatile, and fairly functional extension once you warmup to it. I highly recommend giving it a go for a week or two to see if the 'basic aesthetics' of it work for you.

Minimalist with low footprint and highly customizable, showing everything I need on a regular basis. Had this installed for years and would keep using it but it has slowly but steady been loosing entries in the 'Apps' folder. All the Apps are still there and accessible through the native 'Show apps' button and un- then reinstalling didn't fix it. Last update was in 2019 so I guess I'll have to move on.

Have been using this for so long I just take it as the default browser experience. Only when I see the horrible default new tab of Chrome do I realize how good this extension is.

Excellent extension. I've been using it for two years now. Can't live without it. Highly recommended. Hard to believe that this useful functionality is not the standard behavior for new tabs in all browsers.

This should be the default tab page of chrome, not an extension. A must for chrome users.

This extension is amazing!! Everything you need (even things you didn't know you needed) and no BS. It gives instant access to any bookmarks folder, most visited sites, recently bookmarked sites, and recently closed tabs.

I have been using this extension for a very long time. There has been no crash as of yet and it works as it is intended to. There are myriads of options from changing font to using custom CSS. The best feature in my opinion is to change the background image to an image of one's choice. Overall, a great extension.

I love the SPEED of this new tab, it loads instantly without the white 1ms background as all other extensions do. What I'm missing here for it to be perfect is support for custom JavaScript. :)

Exactly what I was looking for. No need to worry about syncing between bookmarks and speed dial, because it shows bookmarks itself as speed dials

* extension is nice. * there is no option to manage/delete the book marks. any implementations? * may be we can have a thumbnail/grid view also. this will provide an easy way to launch the bookmarks by looking at the thumbnails and not having to read through them!

Lean, mean, best thing since sliced bread.

I just adore how visually bare bones and useful this is compared to other custom new tabs. Now I'm no longer forced to show the bookmarks bar to get to bookmarks quickly enough.

Simple and FAST, I notice no difference in load time compared to the vanilla new tab page. Less is certainly more here — I've made a lovely layout with 4 columns, Courier New in white on a dark grey background. Highly recommend! Thank you developer!

i hate it a lot. the new tab page is bland. it also says it can modify my bookmarks. this is horrible >:(

I love the elegance and ability to customize, so for appearance, it gets five stars. Usability: I haven't had it for long, so I can't comment on that with authority. It seems like it will work just fine, but I have yet to see what the major benefit is over the built-in bookmarks manager other than appearance. The three star rating really comes from the fact that I just spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to arrange the columns the way I want them. And I literally had to remove this extension from chrome twice because once I made a mistake with the columns I could not find for the life of me figure out how to get it back the way I wanted it. The only way seems to be to remove it from chrome and try again. That's a major flaw. This extension should have the ability to reset to default or to undo the last move. If they just added this simple feature, I would probably give it five stars.

This new tab page is amazing. Since I can use the ctrl-E shortcut key to open up the address bar, I don't need to use a built-in search bar. This new tab loads up VERY fast, which is very helpful for me for browsing, and you even added an option to change the interface using custom CSS! Love what you did, and keep the good work!

Great, it took me a long time to find such a simple and useful bookmark management extension

Lightweight, fast, source code is viewable, does not track users.

Please add an option to reset to the previous layout or to the base layout, unfortunately it's far too simple when importing from a previous computer to mess up everything. I thought the import /export function would be useful when switching to a new PC... instead it only imports messed up stuff and i cannot clean it.

I've used this for about two years now. It does everything I want it to and I can customize the theme and css as I like.

Along with 'Session Buddy', 'Humble New Page' is an extension I use daily and highly recommend.

From up today i get no more weather updates. It was working well yesterday. Nothing is changed in chrome or pc. No update from MS. The laptop is running now for 23 days. Something happend with the weather api=

Once you (mistakenly) drag a folder out of a parent, you cannot return it! If anyone knows how to resolve this seemingly obvious issue, i.e. put one folder within another - rather than merely stacking them all in the main column - I would be VERY grateful if you could reply and help me do it. Thank you

i've never reviewed any chrome extension or theme before, but this is so perfect that i felt compelled to do it.

Excellent. This is the only new tab page/bookmark page extension I've found that keeps the page fast! Additionally, it allows for extremely flexible customization and has some excellent built in options for things you can show on your page.

Fantastic app that turns the new tab page into something extremely useful. It's flexible & customisable so I can set up the lists I need in the order I want: Recently Closed, Most Visited, Bookmarks, etc. Massive increase to my productivity!

I think you will find it to be your Very Favorite Bookmarks page -- Always instantly available because it awaits at every new tab. One of the most amazing things about it is that you can STYLE all of the page elements precisely per your own design. For Example, for My Background Color I chose "Midnight Blue" ... While my Text is a "Burnished Bronze". I have had it installed for quite a long time now, and yet, when I often see ALL my Favorite Bookmarks – Precisely styled just how I like it-- I still just sit there & am like... "Wow!!" Since it also INCLUDES (as does the puny Native 'speed dial'), the option to display your "MOST VISITED" Websites, I think you too will be surprised that anybody could possibly settle for a 'speed dial' when True Excellence awaits them (& You) with just a super-quick install.

It's a great add-on but the option "Auto-close Folders" doesn't work at all. The folders always remain open no matter what I have chosen.

Excellent! It's my new tab page and my home page. Very easy to customize. Especially valuable (at least, for me) is the "Recently closed". I'm always closing stuff too soon.

Great! I was lookig for something like this for some time. Now, you can even use unsplash.com if you want to see different background image every time you open a new tab. Just add something like this in Appearance -> Background image -> URL: https://source.unsplash.com/random/1920x1080 Use your screen resolution. One problem tho - I can't stop myself from new tabbing all the time :)

Literally the best new-tab extension ever.

After ditching my previous new tab extension due to how resource intensive it had become I was thrilled to discover Humble New Tab. By tapping into existing bookmarking functionality within the browser it keeps it lightweight and incredibly fast. It displays all the information in a clean and organized way and provides a decent amount of customization so you can set things up how you want them. It's one of the few extensions I've used that I could argue should almost be part of the browser package out of the box. ONLY 4 stars due to the fiddly nature of rearranging the columns. When I first used it I accidentally ended up dragging sub-folders into other columns and permanently ruining my organisational structure. An 'undo action' or 'reset UI' button would be really appreciated.

Best new-tab page extension of every one I've tried, and I've tried dozens. I only wish you could rearrange and delete individual bookmarks from it. it's so much easier to view my bookmarks from Humble New Tab Page than the Bookmark Manager, And I'd never use the bookmark manager again if I could do that. Oh, And I wish I could add widgets. The layout and customizability of this thing makes other unrelated apps look bad!

Very clean and fast. How do I make it show websites as it does in the screenshots? I can only seem to add them to a bookmark folder and then have to click that each time for the list to show up.

So far so good. I like it. Simple to select options. Have it blank so far but definitely use it for bookmarks.

This is wonderful! I love having the bookmarks, apps and other options all on one page. Plus one can organize bookmark folders anyway you want.

Great extension - if I wanted to see my most visited, it's there. Nice, clean and customizable.

This is a phenomenal extension! Allows a good bit of customizability and works flawlessly. I do have a suggestion though, perhaps add an option to change the text color of the current day of the week in the weather module? I have a hard time remembering what day of the week it is most the time; so a simple color change on the current day of the week in the weather module would be pretty useful! Thanks for such a great extension.

Ow man, this is is a dämn great tool to give some sanity to chaotic bookmarks bar and that "too many open tabs" thing where one ends up forgetting those interesting things among its tree srtucture. Everytime I open a new tab, I help myself remembering, even when its only a few seconds.
