used to not work on fb pages managers, now suddenly does. so 5 stars
Nice, but i couldn't copy/paste the link.
Excellent thanks to developer God bless you Good luck
Small and powerful, thanks!
Hello, you made a great extension! But: Links like "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xn4-FY5a_2A" parsed till "-", second part is not part of link Thanks a lot!
The following links are not getting highlighted: .gg .eu .pro .to .in .info .sx .pm .is .pw .lv And more!
Obvious http:// links in Instagram comments are not clickable, even with this extension. Grr.
Doesn't work at all with Salesflare, which it was actually intended for.
Amazing extension, but can you add the feature for "file:///C:/Users/" (offline HTML files stored in a computer) as well? Thanks.
This works nicely, but it needs a way to customize the styling of the links and perhaps blacklist patterns for handling false positives.
nice.
nothing. absolute bollocks
It would be a really useful extension if it worked but the majority of the links I try to click on remain unclickable.
I really like this extension despite it short comings, its benefits have far out weighed its faults.
It turns the text of hypertext links into http links, breaking normal functionality. Removed.
Useless, didn't make "https://twitter.com/username" clickable.
works :)
Causes Podio website to stop working. (Side menu doesn't slide out, app buttons are gone and search doesn't work). Took quite a while to narrow it down to this extension. Sad times. :(
This extension works alright for short/simple links. Anything long or complicated gets cut off. For instance, the following link: http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2016/07/24/sdcc-sherlock-series-4-teaser-and-a-new-holmes-brother cuts off most of the link and renders only the following 'clickable': http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2016/07/24/s This happens with 80% of the non-hyperlinked links in my browser, rending the extension nearly useless.
Does noet process xml files. Does not work for <Meter ref="http://41.143.171.155/utilidriver/api/meters/4B414D0000000186D291/" meterNumber="26728887" serialNumber="26728887" state="InUse"/>
Very helpful extension. It would be better though if you could easily enable and disable it on certain sites
Used this extension to open a bunch of links on pastebin, which was helpful. But it will screw some websites with embedded content. The day after I added the extension I was doing my MOOC at courses.edx and because some time had passed I didn't figure out right away it was this extension causing the corruption of the css code. Just disabling the extension and refreshing the page fixed the issue
OPTIONS COMING SOON, BUT WHEN?
It turns text and ellipses into links. Example 'This guy I know...he was accused of that one time." "know...he" is turned into a link, which is a obviously broken link.
does what it says. really good.
Decent, but frequently linkifies words before elipses...
didnt work for a lot of links....
Saved a lot of time using this extension. Awesome!
OK,But there is some bugs, such as miss match none ascii text following url as the part of url, result in wrong url
Awesome extension...saved lots of my time
When i enable this app, i see a lot of ads now. I can't even search properly in Google because of this extension.
Awful. Made maybe half of any given link clickable.
awful
Thank you so much for this extension. Works Perfectly for me!
This is just the 'Linkify Plus' Greasemonkey script made available in the Chrome Store. I don't have a fix for the 'blah...blah' problem, but it's easy enough to ignore those links. My trouble with this plugin (and the greasemonkey script, for that matter) is that certain pages style their links in such a way that they are invisible when placed on the wrong background. I moved to the greasemonkey script and added an 'a.setAttribute' to style Linkify made links in-line. That way by setting the background and foreground colors I know I'll always be able to read the text modified by this script. Cool thing is, you can install Greasemonkey scripts directly into Chrome. I use Tampermonkey to manage mine, however. I hope this is helpful to someone. When (if) I get some free time, I'll look for a fix to the 'blah...blah' problem.
Quite useful. REQUEST: It would be nice to have a user customizable blacklist of urls/domains so it we can be disabled in some sites (etc web apps and web front ends). Thanks!
Thank you so much for getting this back to it's original format! I loved it before, but started noticing some really weird, sometimes off putting ads popping up. I totally understand ad supported software, but this was a little crazy. Thanks for setting things right and let me know if you have a "donate" account!
It would be nice if it converted links in textarea fields as well. :(
Works as described, however it appears to try and make a link out of a word with a non-spaced ellipsis attached, ex. testing...testing
This is the only one I use..it works really good too!
does not what it's supposed to do. A lot of links are recognized only halfway through, a lot of normal text containing dots is mistakenly being marked as url.
Sometimes it does the job, but most of the time it only converts a part of the text into the link, breaking Youtube links. It also thinks that "blah...blah" is an url. Does anyone know an alternative to this?
There is a website I use all the time in which email addresses are listed, but they are not mailto links. This extension helps very much and does just exactly what I need it to. Thanks!
amazing
with the lack of updates, most of the links now cant be detected properly.
For some reason installing this extension caused some of the pages I visit to not load correctly.
I like it, but I'd LOVE it if the following options were available: - do not make email address clickable - do not make ip addresses clickable - select to open link in same window, new tab, or new browser Thanks a bunch though! I was running the older version which didn't support https was so happy to see this version did support https. Not sure why I wasn't informed of the update though :/
Nice, it WORKS PERFECTLY!
This extension made me the happiest man on earth. Thank you Laurent!
