It doesn't work on most places, but it is extremely useful when it does. I wish it wouldn't have to be turned on for every tab.

It didn't work in most of the places I tried it, and I'm not sure why. This might be my fault, but there aren't any setting that I know of in chrome or the extension that could fix it. It's a great idea, but I wish it worked.

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you. Originally the company behind Bionic Reading had put this behind a paywall. I waited for a few years to be able to access it and they've made it more accessible now. I still don't appreciate their approach now in the apps, extensions and webpages they've developed for 'half bold' up to this point. So, I wanted to say thank you for inputting the code here for us to access because it's definitely going to make my life much easier. Thank you.

I saw your tiktok literally 10 minutes ago, I IMMEDIATELY downloaded this extension and was able to read a 6 page article for homework that I have been struggling with for over 2 hours (ADHD paralysis be somethin else today.) THANK YOU for this! you have genuinely helped me in a way I never thought possible.

This is an incredible idea! I am a law student and this would be a Godsend. It isn't working on my online books on RedShelf and West Academic. It has only worked on online newspapers. Excited to see it develop

It doesn't seem to be working? Like, at all? I'm noticing literally no difference between having this extension and not having it. I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or something, but it isn't doing anything. The words are supposed to look different, right?

Phenomenal Chrome Extension, this allowed me to easily keep track of where I am whilst processing scanning literary content and ultimately read faster.

It's cool. It worked 2 out of 5 times. It also makes the page glitch or not scroll, or makes the page go blank. The times it did change the text was very very helpful. I excited for the next version.

This is an amazing idea! This style of writing helps me read. The only thing is that this extension doesn't work on my email or my blackboard where I do my assignments. On blackboard it makes my screen blank and I have to reload it, is there any way to remedy this? Hopeful to be able to use this more in the future.

@jaymsb on TikTok made a post about his extension (this one) and it immediately brought me here. I downloaded this extension to both my personal and work Google accounts and I have zero... ZEROOOOOOOOOO complaints. Simple, clean, does exactly what it say it does. Pros: - Apparently, now I can magically read without having to go get a snack, sit down, drink of water, sit down, browse Amazon, click back, text a friend, click back, scroll TikTok, and click back to finish reading an article I started reading for my benefit anyways. - Doesn't alter the webpage. - It's very accessible and usability is very simple. - Doesn't spit out errors or advertisements. - Does... what it says... it's supposed to do. Cons: - I didn't find this sooner. - My neurodivergent brain wishes I had this for my mobile devices. Great job, all of the stars for you. I also reposted your video on my Instagram for my other Neurospicies. Thank you again!

I'm also hear from tik tok! it is super easy to use. I appreciate the very limited to on/off drop down menu. obviously the maker of this extension understands that the less buttons the better. Just all around a saint for making this. Does not distort the website at all, maybe just a little push of the blocks a little bit, but totally negligible considering it's literally altering all of the text on the webpage. Anyways, I only use it to read blocks of text longer than a headline and it's perfect perfect. Thank you so much I'd donate if you make an option <3

I'm an educator who has students with ADHD, I believe this will help with my student's focus and assist in their learning. I'm excited to share this with my classes.

When I saw your tik tok my mind was blown. I didn't know I needed this but it absolutely helps me focus on longer materials and get through them more quickly.

Doesn't work on discord (what I mainly need it for), it just removes all the text from the page. Kinda broken but I'll be following its development though bc it's gonna be a REALLY useful tool to a lot of people :)

I think this has a lot of potential! I'm going to keep it and wait for more updates because I know this will be a very helpful tool someday. It has some glitches and changes the layout on some pages. Also wished it worked with my Kindle reader for textbooks but good luck convincing lord Am@z0n to let you change anything about their fonts lol.

I think this extension very easily has teh potential for 5+ stars, in its current state however, I dock a star purely due to it affecting certain HTML elements of pages that alter the page in significant ways. What I gain in readability, I lose in layout.

It's a really good concept, but I'm surprised by the number of 5 star reviews because it doesn't work very well. It alters HTML elements and makes them disappear. The worst case I've found with this issue is it disables some buttons, making the page impossible to navigate with it on. Also, if a word/title is already in bold, it doesn't change it at all. It also doesn't work on PDFs, which is the majority of what I was downloading it for. A minor issue that is more just annoying than a problem is also that it turns off everytime the page reloads, so you have to manually turn it back on. Really looking forward to improvements because this can be very helpful, but it isn't there yet.

The extension is great for reading quickly, but there are a couple improvements that could be made to make it more robust. It messes with certain HTML elements and makes them disappear, hyphenated words aren't bolded correctly (e.g. simple-minded bolds like *simple-*minded instead of *sim*ple-*min*ded), and it would be really nice if it worked on PDFs. Overall, great extension but it's clear that it's in its early stages right now.

It is limited as it currently stands and some fields such as headers or graphics disappear however it does really help me focus! Can't wait for further updates if any are planned. I would absolutely pay for a more complete version.

I'm unable to get it to work on my online textbook sites like Wiley Reader or Engage eText. If there was a way to help fix this then it'd be amazing!

I really want to like this bc it is helpful for my adhd and dyslexia but unfortunately it does no work on online pdfs through chrome, google docs, or work on gmail. It only works on websites which is what I can see tested in the video, but I really wish this worked in other places as well.
