Still works in October 2022! They disappear after a second of loading a page.

Pretty good at what it does, but any ads with audio still have their audio played when you scroll past them (where they were supposed to be, at least).

I can't believe it was this easy. Works in May 2021. I hate that they kept making them seem more and more like high quality posts, but really, they're just littered with awards and a bunch of downvotes. This is so much better. Thank you!

I loved it and it worked great up until two weeks ago. Now Reddit Promoted posts are showing up again. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the addon, and it's no longer working.

This used to work great, but the Reddit Powers That Be must be fighting it. As of September 2019, it no longer squashes those "Promoted" posts. I'm tired of seeing promoted Pepsi posts saying, "everybody clap your hands!"

Promoted posts are the devil, and this is the exorcism they need. Works flawlessly in chrome 75.0.3770.142 and works on the old layout.

It doesn't work for old.reddit.com I hate reddit's latest layout.
