I couldnt see my to-do tasks when I use Chrome in another laptop or desktop. Isn't there anyway to sync across devices?
If this app supported cloud sync (Jot across devices), it'd be perfect. It's got bugs here and there but it's top of its class.
This extension is great! It's super simple and works perfectly on my browser. Simple and clean way to keep notes and reminders :)
I love this extension, but can you please add a way to add custom backgrounds that change each time? Maybe you could have 10 different custom backgrounds, for intance! Or even just one, if you wanted to. That would be awesome!
Beware: your notes WILL dissappear. Chrome updated and all of a sudden important things I had "jotted" down were gone. What a waste.
I really love this, it cuts down on the distraction from the new tab page, and is a pretty and usefull notebloc. My only qualm is that it doesn't work too well with my ultrawide screen (aspect ratio 21:9). It would be great if you could include some higher resolution or wider ascpect ratio images to fix that. Easy to use with amazing backgrounds. Only issue I have is the bookmarks bar disappearing. EDIT: bookmark returns after pressing ctrl +shift+b
My only complaints are: 1) When viewing Jot on my 4K display it shows repeated images which kind of ruins the look (large complaint) 2) Doesn't sync cross-device (minor complaint). Other than that, it's super useful and simple.
I have font issue. I need this type of thing but it failed to work properly :(
Great app, but would love the option to underline, bold, and italicize text and for it to say that way
Looks very pretty and useful, but doesn't support high resolutions like 2560x1440. I am aware that I can zoom into it, but then all elements are too big.
Better feature enabling greater font size should be allowed.

Such a simple yet amazing extension. I’ve used this extension for a while, and I don’t have any of the problems others have with it. Here are some complaints: Firstly, you can’t view your bookmarks when using this extension. I have to press Ctrl + Shift + B every time I want to see my bookmarks, and then I have to do that sequence again to hide the bookmarks bar. It’d be fantastic if the bookmarks bar were at the top of the Jot page. Secondly, links aren’t clickable. I often save links for later, so clickable hyperlinks would be great. Lastly, if I don’t zoom, everything looks horrible, because the images are just repeated over and over again. Perhaps high-res images should be used instead, so that they don’t have to be repeated too often and so that I don’t have to zoom in. (I have a 2560x1440 monitor.)

Its great:) ... It would be good, if it has a list of Suggested/frequently viewed website in one box.Ex: like default chrome does.
Love it! Beautiful and clear. Some ideas: 1. Could you add a Prioritise button which if clicked opens a popup where you enter your tasks into an Eisenhower Grid. Then Jot pulls out the top 3 items from the grid in order of importance/ urgency and lists these on your main Jot list that you see when you open a tab. 2. Also when you click on any of the 3 prioritised tasks on the main Jot list, you could have a 25min Pomodoro timer start that blocks all social media sites while you try to do the task.

I was actually looking for this type of extension for a very long time. I am really thankful to you guys for developing such an extension. I would like to suggest some features that can be added. 1) Option to Adjust the font size 2) Option to change the background wallpaper 3) "x" at the end of every list item 4) Setting the background wallpaper as desktop background Thank You :)
It's clean, simple, and works in Ubuntu Linux in Chrome Beta.
It's ok, maybe I'm just retarded but I can't find a way to delete notes or remove them once done! I made the mistake of clicking "clear" which wiped all my notes - that sucked. Also, the font is way to big, I can only ever see one, maybe 2 of my notes at one time. I'll just stick with my old method
Good extension.. please do something about the font issue its irritating and making the extension useless!
Sounds like a great idea. But all the notes are invisible, which renders the app useless. Also disappointed by the lack of response to other reviewers having the same problem. Would be happy to reconsider if this problem was resolved. (Win 7 Enterprise, Chrome Version 46.0.2490.86 m )

Can't see any note. No 'settings' option. If the idea was to make it a lightweight extension, why the hell does it take 24 Mb space!!Poorly implemented.
This is great, love the simplicity. Unfortunately I stopped using it because I got a new high res monitor and the background images are not set to scale to fill the screen.
Wow, was completely loving Jot...and had gotten used to putting a lot of info in here, but just ran a utility on my computer and now ALL my notes are gone! No warning, no notice, no nothing. I will change how I much I rely on it, that's for sure.
Seems great but still can't use it. Invisible letters. Has anyone out there found a solution to this problem? Much obliged if you helped us out as this has been raised a number of times already, thanks.

Wauw, gorgeous interface, great saving and fun on the clear button.
I suggest adding a Customise function to adjust the font and font size, maybe even the type of backgrounds. Jot is still nice to use though!
Absolutely beautiful selection of images and super handy for tasks. I only wish there was an easy way to get the source of the background image and if you could delete individual items in the list with one click (e.g. click on the arrow to remove item).
On a HighRes screen, and wish the repeating images could scale instead :/
It's very beautiful and I love the simplicity of it, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work across devices. I wrote a bunch of reminders for myself in my Chrome browser on my work computer, and when I opened a new tab in my chrome browser on my home computer, the screen was blank. I wish it carried over, but I'm sure I will still find it useful nonetheless.

Its a super simple app, but I love it. Maintains your notes after a browser restart, looks really nice, doesn't have much overhead on the browser - it does what its supposed to, which is let you jot down notes. I still use Keep, but at work this app is perfect for quick notes of things I need to remember during the day.
for some strange reason the site appeared to have redirected some links to addresses in my lists.
simple and super useful to take quick notes or add to-do items. awesome backgrounds too!
So this little extension is awesome. Open a new tab and instead of your default new tab screen, there's a notepad to type things. Whatever you type persists even after entering a url and can be accessed via the new tab button. Personally, I'd like to see 2 more things out of the extension- ability to decrease the default font size to fit more on a page AND the ability to have links to you most visited websites on the side or top of the jot page.

I really like this one. great potential! would love to have "tick boxes" to tick off a "done" item in the list, and also the option of customising the font size. other than that it's awesome
Text doesn't appear on my computer, Windows 7, fully updated, Chrome 64-bit, fully updated. Also, this needs settings so I can adjust things such as fontsize, background images, or colors. If you can fix this issue and give us a few options, I'm ready to up my rating to 5 stars and suggest this to all my friends and coworkers. Also this error in the code (presumably the font issue that makes me unable to see any of the characters): Uncaught IndexSizeError: Failed to execute 'setStart' on 'Range': There is no child at offset 1.jot.js:254 focusAtEndjot.js:338 (anonymous function)

Love that I can JOT quick notes and I see them whenever I open a new tab! Good sense of humor on the CLEAR button :-) Also love the quick access to Chrome Apps!
Really simple, clean, and helpful! Write quick notes so you don't forget what you need to do online! (And see them every time you open a new tab!)
This is great - My one issue with it is that on high resolution displays and large window sizes, the background image starts to repeat. It is actually a very quick fix in the CSS. Instead of styling the html, you need to set the styling on the body. body { -webkit-background-size: cover; -moz-background-size: cover; -o-background-size: cover; background-size: cover; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center center; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased !important; }
In addition to being really easy and convenient, seeing vibrant new photos every time you add a tab (something I do all day!) is fun and refreshing.
Works really well and super easy to use!
