absolutely life-saving if you have misophonia. i know it wasn't created for this purpose but it does the job and it's so sensory friendly. 10/10.

Sorry! I installed this addon for exactly one reason. Pitch shifting, so i don't have to retune my guitar for every song i wanna play along with YouTube ... So called "Semitones" were totally off Details: I have my guitar tuned to Standard D 440. And with literally no setting on the Semitone range of the plugin, i was able to match it to the guitar. Back to capturing and reliably pitch shift songs in my DAW again, i guess ...

Can u add more speed like 4x or more?

Seems like the shift is inconsistent. -1 "semitone" sometimes needs to be a -2 setting, sometimes not, sometimes -3. Each song seems to be different. Otherwise it's great.

Pitch shift is inaccurate. Setting -3 semi-tone sounds like -1 semi-tone.

This helps so much as i recently got diplacusis which makes me hears a lower pitch on 1 ear. basically afects both ears. i can finally turn up pitch back to normal tysm sometimes glitches out the extension but its poggers tysm

Pitch change (semi-tones) is really inaccurate, changed to -5 but it sounds like -4 tuned improperly.

Best and smooth pitch and playback shifter, forget any other shifters!

Been using this extension for years and it's been great up until very recently when the current version stopped working on Dailymotion, please fix the issue

This extension worked wonderfully, without fail. Until I got a new computer. Everything but the pitch shifting works, and I've tried every pitch shifter available. Help please?

Nice app and the use is simple. The scale is very weird though. You have to pick smooth option and the scale is like this (after me done hours of testing) +0/ +0.11/ +0.25/ +0.33/ +0.5/ +0.6/ +0.8/ +1 +0/ -0.1/ -0.2/ -0.3/ -0.4/ -0.5/ -0.55/ -0.6 each represents a semi-tone. Hope this can be fixed.

Hello there. Your app is cool but this extension needs to be updated with PAL Pitch/Speed. Like for example 10.4 is PAL Pitched. It also needs more features as well.

Exactly what i needed. Had to change the scale because -5 semi-tone worked best for me, so i wanted to default to that setting when turning it on. I love it, perfect for some youtubers.

I use it for music or to just mess around. It helps with more precise playback speeds!

I have recently ran into an issue where, when I try to use it, it gives everything an atrocious reverbing affect. This is something either you need to fix, or something I'm doing wrong. Regardless, I would appreciate feedback

I want to play along to songs in Eb standard guitar tuning without retuning my guitar. Pitch shifting down sounds really good, but pitch shifting even a semitone up sounds distorted, unfortunately making this not the best solution.

I only discovered this to get high pitch too you just have to put the speed up from 1.0 to 1.06 it works from 1.02 1.03 1.04 and 1.05 and the same with low pitch from 1.0 to -95 so today i found out it doesnt do that anymore i dont know if its just mine but i kinda enjoyed having that but i cant seem to get it back does anyone have a solution :(

Great tool for musicians trying to learn a new tune. Play alomg with a YT video, and use this extension to match your guitar's pitch, rather than re-tune ! It would be great if an option to change the scale of pitch change was included to allow a more precise match, but after using it a while, you can get a very close match. Kudos to the developer !

Works well when slightly slowing audio and pitch shifter is effective. Great app!

Pitch correction isn't good. Ex. In smooth pitch, set to 1 (should be 2x of original pitch) but as I hear when compared with other music instrumental, it's about 1.49830708x or 1.5x or vary sometimes Info: Tried on youtube video, and found more bugs about pitch adjusting.

Works better than the pitch shift enhancement in Windows 10. Works even better when that option doesn't exist.

after adding the extension, refresh the page first before using it. remember to switch it on lol. it works fine for me ;)

Works, but the drop in audio quality is way more than any other pitch shifter I've used in the past.

Works like a charm! Have been looking for this as others extension seems not to be working. This is very important for musician like me. I use this to lower the key of Youtube karaoke video and then I could practice the song in my key! Thank you Pitch Shifter!

This is excellent when I got tired of hearing the original voice from most videos on YouTube, Dailymotion and others. The low and high pitch settings are perfect.

The pitcher works, but quality definitely dropped when you lower the pitch or slow the song down.

when i try to turn it on, it does the following things: 1: the sound cuts out. 2: the sound and video go out of sync

This extension is really great for making the audio seem really smooth at certain pitches!

Okay, You CAN NOT use any other audio eq tools with it, as I have learned the hard way. I am not complaining about it at all, but when I first tried to use the pitch changer,I had my audio EQ on. I was so mad, because I would go into the pitch changer, set it up, and then it would reset and not work. I am extremely glad that I decided to try it without the audio EQ on, because it is actually a really cool and useful application.

Doesn't keep settings and also is not accurately shifting audio when in step mode. I am not sure what the value is representing in smooth either, it should be showing Cents (1200 cents to an octave) rather than a normal (0.00-1.00). But thank you for the contribution, as a quick fix to learn a few songs for a band I was able to get it to function eventually. Needs some work though on the back end!

Once you realize you have to flip the switch ON at the top for it to start working, this is seriously one of the best things in the WHOLE WORLD for weirdos who do karaoke at home. Only suggestion I'd make is auto-enabling it once the navbar icon is clicked.

The pitch shifter isn't entirely accurate; higher pitch on normal playback rate sounds too distorted.

DOESN'T WORK

Shifting by semitones are very inaccurate. When reducing by -5 semitones it was actually -2 semitones and -12 was -5 in reality.

Thanks for taking your step in the arms race. I can now fix the pitch shift certain videos to correct for the original pitch shift, which is done for unknown reasons. 18K users can't be wrong!

Helps on them youtube vids that have the pitch changed to avoid copyright... Don't forget to restart browser after install and it works. Ty.

This is what I need, love it

As a musician who plays covers in a band, it was helpful to both hear how a song would sound with a tuning change and in different keys. There's quite a loss in audio quality when activated, however this is still a great tool for me as a musician and also for fun.

One of the most useful Extensions I've ever come to use, and the results I get are pure gold. [Although yes, the more drastically the pitch is altered, quality suffers, but not by much]. Noticed that sometimes the quality goes way down even with a slight adjustment (like shifting pitches slightly when I don't adjust them that makes this 'wave' effect of high-low pitch that screws up the audio, so any fixes that are possible, please do!

I liked this, it is really fun. It sounds better with songs pitched up and down by like 1 - 10%.

Never listening to songs the same again. It's a little reverb-y after changing pitch, but I don't mind

It is a great app but for some reason the pitch stopped working the only thing that works is playback rate is there a way you can fix it

I really like the app because I can change the pitch of many songs, but I don't get how it works with the semi-tones... e.g. I changed minus 14 semi-tones and it changed me a C#5 to a G4 or changed minus 8 "semi-tones" and turned an A4 to F#4. And an octave is 24 semitones? I think is actually changing 1/3 each "semi-tone" and not 1/2. Help?

Did the intended purpose, but it really sucks for 30 FPS, much less 60 FPS (sounds choppy)

this is really nice! I like to hear some songs in a different pitch so I think this is exactly what I was looking for.

I think it would be nice if the pitch shifting could be more precise. I would like to pitch down for example a song in a4=440hz to a4=432 hz. What I need for that is pitching the song down about 0,32 semitones. What can i do now is pitching it down 0,3 semitones or 0,4 semitones.

it would be better if the quality of the song didn't drop so much. onlinetonegenerator does a pretty good job of keeping the quality the same, but they don't offer a web extension. take note , developers!!
