All it needs are options for the icon color. I use a black browser and would like a dark icon. The orange does not work for me

This is really a good bookmar compare to all the other, but u lack one most importang thing: 1) able to open all the url under the subfolder from the parent folder.

Meh. Very old and isn't much more effective than the preexisting function already in Chrome.

Takes a good few seconds to open. So much so, that it is almost quicker just to navigate chromes own menu system for bookmarks.

I installed this stupid garbage and right-clicked on a bookmark folder. Anyone who used a computer in the past 30 years would have expected some simplified menu to pop up, some instructions, some information... Instead, this stupid garbage opened tens of bookmarks! This is how moronic thus stupid garbage is! Uninstalled it at once!

just need the option for move to organizate the bookmarks and this become the best extension in this category existent until now.

This simple bookmarks menu makes finding your sites very simple, thus the name. Install it! Your Welcome.

Pretty fantastic extension. It does exactly what it is supposed to do without any bloat, unrelated functionality or unnecessary permissions. Other extension authors should take note. This is how to correctly and ethically make an extension. There are only two improvements I would suggest. 1) Make the "Bookmarks bar" root directory hidden, showing only subdirectories. 2) Add options to selectively hide/show the individuals buttons at the top.

So far I like it. I wish it had a search bar on top similar to other bookmark extensions, it would make searching easier.

This is pretty useful, but Humble New Tab Page does more of what I needed giving recently closed, bookmarked, other devices, and most used

PRO: The only reason I needed a sidebar bookmark is that I have lots of nested folders and with the default chrome boogmarks I have to go all over again if i want to opem more pages. This plugin keeps the folder structure which is what I was looking for CONS: Cannot drag folders/pages, cannot select multiple pages

Not exactly FF style bookmark that I want, but this will do.

the "window mode" is good, however the "context-menu" mode is rubbish, why would I want to have a huge context menu to cover a big part of the page I am on?... .) No renaming of bookmarks .) No drag & drop of bookmarks .) No sorting .) Folder search only searches the top-most level ... it's the best which is available right now but it's yet far for mperfect

Does pretty much everything I wanted without too many frills. Would like to know how to sort the bookmarks to my liking however. Can't find a way to do that. Only other issue is that it is a bit slow to appear after clicking the icon. Still better than others I've tried.

The new bookmark system is great looking but it makes the process a lot slower. I miss the old version without the slick new look because it was quicker & simpler

Indispensable to me. I stopped using starter page/bookmark pages and have come to rely on this highly customizable and elegant bookmark extension. The lack of clutter and superiority over Chrome's default bookmark menu is something I noticed notice right away.

The bookmark extension for Chromium I've been waiting for. I just found out about it, tweaked it, and I could kiss you. Not having such a usable extension for Chromium has prevented me from using it much. Kudo's!

every time I open chrome I have to reopen bookmarks as well. it's annoying as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!! other than that, settings are pretty nice. that's why I give you one star for.

Many features and it works great. My only true complaint is that you cannot delete or move bookmarks within it. If it could do that, there would be no better. (Hint hint, dev) ;)

Thank you for creating this, it's the best I've found so far. It even has some improvements over the FireFox bookmarks side panel, but drag and drop bookmarking doesn't work. I'd still like to see it as a collapsible side panel within the browser. If you were selling it I'd buy a copy to support development.

Good, but why no synchronization across multiple computers (that I can see)? Simple Bookmarks on CompA does not agree with Simple Bookmarks on CompB. Wouldn't this be a feature worth doing some planning? Or is it there somewhere and I can't find it? H

Lately, this extension has been EXTREMELY slow; must be something to do with a new Chrome release. If it doesn't get fixed soon, I'm going to have to give it up. It's a shame, because this *was* the best bookmark manager out there (and I've tried dozens).

This is the best bookmarking extension I've used on Chrome. However, with Chrome 34, I've noticed some lagging and unresponsiveness. Hope this gets corrected soon.

This extension comes the closest to the docking Internet Explorer bookmarks sidebar. However it is still lacking in some fundamental options. 1. It took quite a bit of tweaking to get the bookmarks and the browser to fit my screen and stay that way. 2. There is no way to create a folder from inside the sidebar. No right click option or button. The process from within Chrome requires way too many clicks. 3. I'm used to dragging the url to a folder to bookmark it, like in IE, but here it opens the url inside the bookmarks sidebar. No good. 4.I want to be able to highlight (click and drag) several uncategorized bookmarks and delete them. But can't. 5.But at least, unlike with all the other bookmark extensions, I can look at all my bookmarks and folders, and open any url inside the minimized browser on the right. 6. Please add the functionality of dragging urls and making folders into this extension. As well as automatic browser resizing!

user interface need polish other than that great extension for example see bookmark plus it has nice tailored book UI

I've tried many of the extensions and this is the best. The task bar at the top is very convenient. Overall, outstanding.

After test-driving this extension for awhile, it has proven to be just about perfect for what I've been looking for... and I've tried more than a few bookmark extesions. However, is there a way to bring up the extension menu via keyboard shortcut? This ability would make the extension 5-star in my book! For some unknown reason, I positively despise having to mouse back-&-forth up to the top right of my browser window & back to what I was working on, just to access bookmarks... please let me know!

Loving it! :) The shortcut bar at the top of the dropdown is really useful! Bug: After manually reducing the width (tried 320px), the dropdown always comes with a glitch - slight shake when showing the dropdown list.

VERY ANNOYING BUG! When I move a bookmark in Window Mode, if I move it too far down in the window, the display zooms to microscopic size. Too far up, it zooms very big. You have to very, very precise to move it to a folder beyond what is currently displayed in the window. This problem only occurs in Window Mode.

Loved the program, and like one reviewer, I do dislike having to click the 'bookmark' bar to start. Also, you've got a setting for the width, but not for the height... Perhaps in your next version, this could be taken into account

Great extension for managing favorites. I've tried a lot - this one is the best. Got a bug with the last update - right click to open tab in background opens 2 (two) same tabs.Middle click opens one as intended.

Good extension but I absolutely hate the double scroll sliders design (Confusing non standard graphics and the handles are too thin) and that you can't adjust the height of the drop down pop up window. In my case, the pop up only extent half my screen forcing me to use those horrible sliders.

I love this extension! I have a lot of bookmarks and now I can access them all from a button on the upper right corner. I've tried all the other bookmark extensions and this is absolutely the most efficient one.

I like this extension. As of late, I've been having issues when I click on the icon, I get a blank window. Nothing has changed recently to my knowledge so I'm not sure of the reason.

Excellent missing one thing that would make it better. Needs a hotkey that opens and enters search mode.

Thank you! All I need from the application bookmarks is here! Very convenient that there is access to the most important menu and functions, it is possible to remember the tabs look. I think that should change the design of icons and background in the icon bar. You should also think about the triangle to the left of the folder, it does not correctly indicate the direction of disclosure folders. In general, you need to work on the design. Perfect for easy access to bookmarks, particularly if you use nested bookmarks. Love the "Remember" feature which allows you to return directly to the last bookmark folder open. Just what I was looking for, great minds think alike :- )

This is a keeper. Does just what it's supposed to do.

It does what it's supposed to do, but a one star lost on the icon design.

It's hard to believe how many Chrome bookmark extensions there are. The others come up short in one or more ways. This one just works. Please don't ruin it! One suggestion: I wish I could have "bookmarks bar" always expanded, but always collapse the other folders. I don't want to see the previous lower level folder I had open, but I also don't want to always click on "bookmarks bar" either. I don't know how to email this suggestion to the author.

Great beginning. Is it possible to persist expanded/collapsed folders in the bookmark tree? It's annoying to expand all the same each time...
