This might have been useful once, but at least as of 3/12/2021 it removes the text of the story but leaves the rest of the browser object intact (image, etc) so it looks ugly. If this is by design, then it's bad design, but I'm assuming that it worked in a more useful fashion once but a change to google news broke it.
Doesn't do anything to bing, still shows the trending news section or whatever that's called.
This is a great app that protects you from being inundated with depressing and disturbing news stories that is subconsciously harmful to your mental health.
I appreciate the effort, but would like the filter to work across sites such as Yahoo.com

It will not stop Googles "TRENDING NEWS". It doesn't even recognize it.
This extension is a dream come true! I went looking for a solution for the numerous inane fake news headlines from The Washington Post that were appearing on Google. Finally, I'm free of their lies! And ba-bye to CNN and the failing New York Times, too! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS!
Works very well at blocking fake news such as CNN, NYTimes and Washington Post from Google News Top Stories.
It simply dont work.
It's just 'ok' at best. Too much is breaking through to call this one a 'win', but with some work and it actually blocking sites it'll get five from me.

No more Trump, Kardashian, Jenner. As a test I put in cnn.com and did some searches. This is a great way to filter out sites like CBN and other conspiracy theory sites.
Does not work. Added Kardashian to the list and even used your right click filter and they STILL show up in Google results. I deleted your app.
I tried to block Kartrashian family on Daily Mail UK and it did not work
Finally a quick and easy way to filter out the "fantasy news" sources and get the the real news!
