Introducing Learn Platform: The new net-ref or Net-Ref 2.0. It is completely useless. When I click on it it does nothing. Absolutely nothing. I am wondering if it is a spyware thing that was pushed school onto school devices that was made by a hacker. I am going to talk to the school tech specialist about this...

I saw this comment where if you open multiple tabs it crashes I opened 4 and my computer crashed, this app is literally just spy ware and does nothing for the school, does anyone know how to uninstall it?

This extension is the worst. Causes CPU usage to spike every time a new tab is open. Why can't schools install actual extensions that we will use. They also make it so we can't post reviews, and disable installing extensions.

HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU TAKE THIS EXTENSION OFF?! Literally is a wast of space and uses all my space. LIKE SERIOUSLY HOW MUCH RAM DO YOU NEED?! When I'm in class(Zoom) it crashes and when I need to do work on live class I can't because of how much storage space this takes. I also can't search up anything. HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO WRITE AN ESSAY IF I CAN'T GET ANY INFORMATION!!!!!

cant search anything at all only pasted in urls from other browsers i use chrome to send school work files from my personal account to my school account and now i can even get into the google search page this makes it very difficult to turn in my assignments on time as i am still trying to find ways to send my work. This Extension is not in anyway helpful. The school laptops that my district sent out are slow as is but this makes my zoom/team meetings much slower as it eats up my ram and skyrockets my cpu usage i take ASL as a class so it is very important to have clear performance as he only talks to us through sign. I understand that this meant for content filtering and to monitor what student search/ do with their school laptops but this is more unhelpful than helpful

its stupid, i had it force installed and the only page i can get to is my school page, urls don't work and i cant search anything, all i can do is make new school page tabs

Review This extension was automatically installed on my school device (which is not a problem, they own it), but the extension is not set up/is working properly. When I click on the little icon it just shows a blank box. According to the website, it is used to collect data about how students are using their laptop but it does not identify each individual student. It may help schools budget software to things that students are actually using, compared to everything they are provided. This extension also uses a large amount of RAM and may slow down computer performance, depending on the specs of your device, which is slightly concerning.

What even is this? Is it suppose to be something that auto grades your work on certain tabs? If it is, then it doesnt do a good job at doing it. Just a waste of space. 2/5.

This is spyware and takes up CPU and RAM. What is this even for and why does it do? Does it spy on us?? It does nothing when I click on it, what's the point? Waste of storage and system resources.

This is why the school system is failing 1. the administer installed this without telling the students first, which is not okay. 2 Since they didn't tell us we have no idea what's it does thus wasting space for more useful extensions. (and yes, I did read the description. But i already have a extension that block fake news for less space, it's call malware bytes. I also can just use e school to check my grades) 3. the app don't work, I can't see my any of my grades. However it does block more games....which is dumb.. School shouldn't block harmless games, they should block porn and fake new sites that can easily can a kid's option on something. I understand game can distract from work but what about free time? Some kids don't have a book to read or extra work. and yes some game should be block if they use porn or extreme violence (example: A fully undress girl or someone cutting off someone realistic head ) but most of the games they block are harmless like animal jam which is a Educational game aim at children....do i need to explain?!

So... It was forced installed in the first place. Second, the school forbid us from making comments here. Silencing our voice doesn't make the extension any better. Third, I don't know who developed this but can u stop using so much RAM please? Now it takes up to 30% of my CPU just to open up a new tab. Thank you
