I think it has potential, but has issues. I can't change the font. It doesn't sync with my phone app (tasks). I can't see much on it. It is hard to re-organize tasks. It is not that user friendly. I have a lot of suggestions for making it better.

It's an excellent little tool. It makes Google's barely-adequate Tasks app much more useful on a PC. Now if only Google would invest a bit more effort into Tasks itself...

Good app — wish it was not tied to Chrome and operated independently as a stand-alone app on ANY browswer, or perhaps a Windows veresion.

Great extension. Exactly what I needed to have my Task list have its own webpage instead of being tacked on the side of gmail. It works great and is simple to use.

Use it everyday. So much better than the actual Google interface.

Works like a charm. It's easy to create tasks and lists, use keyboard shortcuts, and drag and drop tasks between lists. I wanted something that would let me access Tasks directly from my Windows taskbar without opening a browser window, and this does the trick.

I love this app because it's simple and clear.

It works great but the only problem is that it does not have the tasks that are created in Google Spaces, that is kind of a big deal for me (may not be for others) but I would give it 5 stars if it could fix that.

One of the best extensions in the entire Chrome web store.

It's good. But the service is expensive in other countries where the exchange rate for the dollar is high (as in the case of Brazil). Furthermore, the application does not support the “starred” list.

Great addition to my workflow. I recently dumped Evernote (after 12 years), and this was the replacement I settled on for my GTD task lists. It works as advertised & I'm very happy. Gladly paid for a lifetime license.

Does what is should and does it really well. Couldn't be without it now and for that reason it gets love!

I use this all the time, it's the easiest way for me to see what my tasks are without getting distracted by other things. They have recently added a payment option, happily paid for a lifetime licence. If they do any development (I am acknowledging that the Tasks API is probably what limits it) then fantastic, but otherwise this has made my tracking of what I have to do much easier. Thanks again!

I love this app and use it every day.. it makes Google task list way more efficient / usable for me. I would love to see if it's possible to see/have a combined list of everything.. but perhaps that's an limitation of Google's app and not this developer. I just gladly paid for the premium addition, as good work should be rewarded with compensation. (no I'm not the developer)

It was a useful app that helped me organize my list of things to do very efficiently. It is very organized (more than Microsoft To Do) and extremely efficient. I would definitely recommend this extension.

The app doesn't mirror current functionality in the google tasks app. It doesn't show starred lists. So if you use that feature of the tasks app then your in trouble.

Great app, easy to install and use from both your cellphone and laptop. Keeps me up to date with daily activities such as exercising and hydration.

Loved the extension. It just augments the Google tasks experience manifolds. Being a G-Suite Apps user for everything related to work, it was cumbersome to have another To-Do app (most of the paid ones are over-complicated anyway). I was using Google Keep until I found this and it has been life-changing. Keep up the great work. Shoutout to the shortcuts as well for adding new tasks, sub-tasks, etc. Makes for great time-saving.

Great app, but they are using the outdated Google Tasks icon. Would like to see that updated to reflect the current logo.

If they ever add time and multiple date settings I would give it a 5 star. It is a good app and very user friendly.

Great job. Too bad the only reason I can't give it a 5 (and can't use it) is due to Google: can't set time and can't set repeating tasks. How can we prompt Google to allow the API to do this?

5 Stars. Two feature requests: - The ability to drag and drop tasks into other lists - A config option to disable the tips in the status bar. (or, to disable any messaging. I get easily distracted ;) I use many instances of Chrome and the help suggestions keep popping up.

+1 complaining about the Dark Mode colour. Should be a neutral gray. It really bothers me to the point of not using it just because of that. PLEASE change that to an elegant and neutral gray,

Love this app the only thing I wish it had was the ability to add a time like it does in Gmail. It only allows for a due date.

Something google tasks needs, but google never does it for some reason

This extension is so handy when it comes to productivity for someone with ADHD such as myself! One feature you could add is the ability to delete a task without having to tick mark it and then delete it from the 'Completed tasks' section. Seriously, its very annoying. Other than that, no complains whatsoever!

Doesn't load the page for some reason. It's stuck at the logo flashing but doesn't proceed.

OK, not great... you cannot 1/ set repeat reminders as you can on Tasks on Gmail or on your phone 2/ cannot view completed tasks, so you can undo one that you clicked by mistake. Dark mode is an ugly COLOUR. It should be colourless dark grey!!

What we need. Google Tasks + Full Screen for Google Tasks , a little bit more productivity.

It's a great extension! Has made my work flow a whole lot easier. It's just with the recent Tasks update there seems to be a blue envelope that's showing up under all of the tasks in this extension. It is making the list layout very clunky and is kind of distracting, so I'm wondering if there's any way to get rid of that? Hope that this is fixed soon because otherwise, this is a great service!

Nice app, only thing left to do is to include the time of the task since I can select the date but cant do the time of the task.

Mostly like the app and the ability to create many lists and have tasks with subtasks. The problem I have is switching the tasks between lists. It is not easy to find how to do this. After searching and clicking yesterday for a while I finally found it, but today I can't find it again. It is not very intuitive for the user. Also, wish there would be an option to show all the date/time specific tasks under headings like "Past Due" or "Due Today" across all the lists like Wunderlist used to do. I really miss Wunderlist.

I'm a daily user of this app, using it to manage both work and personal tasks. I have never had any bugs or issues with it. I like to keep extensive history notes about individual tasks, and this app allows that by giving a lot of working space to "add details." It's easy to update task due dates to push them forward and keep your tasks in order of priority by due date.

Meh, super basic. Google is light years behind the competition when it comes to Real-World business needs. Can't change fonts / bullet points, highlight text ? Talk about a tasks list...we're in 2022 and basic functionalities are not available.

Lovely little app, I suffer from ADHD and having a quick, simple, to hand task app is a life saver especially if I can carry it over between devices. Couple of bits feedback wise A dedicated part of the app for completed tasks as this could easily be used for businesses or someone who has a lot of tasks that they need to refer back to, going as far a per list completed view on the side bar Couple of extra sort options, date of creation order and 'task date' order i.e the complete by one Possibly not doable due to tasks itself but being able to utilise hyperlinks and or insert images which I'm surprised google hasnt implemented as it's be marketed for shopping lists and the like

Fantastic, used to use notes but never synchronized properly from old to new devices. Loving it. Easy to use and transports over so many devices and very versatile. If I had one addition I would love to have is to save a file as in icon so when you click on it, it opens up. I know this is a task list, but can save a file in pdf format next to task. This would be extra awesome for me and can think of other uses. I have a cooking task list to plan my meals, could add the recipe next to it as a pdf. This would make this app then superior to anything else out there

Used to be good, but now ruined by going to a payware model as of January 2022. Skip this app, go for another.

Absolutely love this! It's the Task app Google should have made. Only one suggestion: - option to change color in light mode. I like the white background just not the yellow bar.

This is not a bad "First Release" software, however considering this is coming from Google, I need to be honest and say it is workable, but very disappointing. As others have mentioned it is clunky, quirky, and lacks true productivity functionality.

This is precisely what I'm looking for! Adding it to the Launchpad makes it an app of its own, meaning you can alt+tab into it rather than searching through Chrome tabs. Bravo to the developer! ?‍♂️

Bought the lifetime deal. Best google tasks app out there at the moment Apparantly, it appears i am in the 10% of power uses lol - of the app. This works well with tasks.org on the phone as there is no phone app for this service. The two app and this desktop version go hand in hand. Tasks.org is not expensive also. --- Ok, have finally bought the lifetime of this software. It's extremely good value for what it offers. This is a zippy piece of software that, after trying a number of google task softwares have settled for this one. Yes, i evaluated many and took some time using many as well. This software searches tasks. You can have the software operate as a stand alone desktop app, nice and clean interface. The other thing is the power of the searching is fast and this is a winner for me. Speed. Some of the apps i tried were extremely slow. The other feature is the developer is in a small group of users, its a google groups group. You can get a response there but this app is so simple, largely there is no need to seek help but adding contribution and ideas to the development of this app is worth going into the group for. Overral. The software is basic but thats all i need. It synchronises fast from my gmail (right side panel) into the app where i can type notes. If you want the bells and whistles then this is not you. This is simple as is the google tasks itself. The sync and search is far far more useful. The themes are light and dark (looks dark green). Perfect. I encourage you to support this guy, evaluate and then buy it.

it's great app

Had given it 5 stars but the developer started charging. I don't mind paying a reasonable price but after all this is just an extension. Google tasks does all the heavy lifting and determines all the functionality (or lack thereof) while this just allows it to be viewed nicely on a PC / full screen. There are many full function todo apps like Toodledo or Todoist that offer things like priority, tags, folders, context, location, status, star etc. Trouble is Google Tasks has great integration with Gmail and Calendar and this is a great looking app that makes google task palatable on a PC. But not at this price.

Everything's good so far except it's not. There's quite few minor dips in quality compared to dedicated app for Android. For instance, cannot add timed reminder to my tasks. Well, it makes me need both extension for Chrome and app itself, which misses the point.

This addon is basically makes the Google To-Do list totally usable. I had been using Microsoft's To-Do but I got tired of the constant log-in requirements, and the default Google To-Do list in Gmail is so basic and clunky it feels like it was made for AOL. The Full Screen extension makes the Google To-Do list very easy to use. It's one of the tabs that always have open. It recently went to a pay model but it's totally worth it since I use it so much.

Not quite a four out of five. There are a few annoying bugs that I don't see getting fixed for a long time and I can't imagine dealing with them for the next year. For example. If you have a task with only a little bit of details, and you click at the top of those details to insert a word or a line at the top, no problem. But if there are a lot of details, I guess more details that will fit on a page, and you click on that same top location, your cursor ends up at the bottom, requiring you to scroll back to the top to reposition your cursor. As I said, small, but still annoying and unlikely to get fixed. And why don't I submit bugs reports or provide more examples? Well, pay me for this example and then I'll submit more.

It's beyond me why Google didn't build this, but I'm glad this developer did. Really useful!

Translation to German works REALLY well Paying supporter here - Feature Request: +) View two (or more) lists at the same time - easiest route is probably to enable opening app twice on same device (collapses into 1 Window when right-clicking and launching from windows-taskbar) OR - split view vertically into multiple sections Please make that happen! Great extension (I was happy to pay for it) but I wish you could colour-code tasks (e.g., in order of importance, or nature of task) to make categorization/visualization easier! Apart from that - absolutely love it! Also - for users drawn to Google Tasks for the purpose of optimizing production - actually being able to see/track how many tasks you've completed per day would be really, really helpful.

Excellent! There are so many times I cuss Google for taking away the full-screen UI for the "sidebar" UI in Calendar and Gmail. While those are very useful, the cramped space on desktop leaves a lot to be desired in usability.

Seems like a well made app, brings back a lot of the functionality Google Tasks had years ago before Google changed it. Unfortunately you can only look at ONE list unless you want to cough up $20, which is pretty ridiculous amount of money for such a simple app.

It should be so simple to drag a task to another list. But no, it takes several steps, and the process just doesn't work. I deeply loathe the way Google makes halfhearted efforts to develop tools, makes one to some extent dependent on them, and then gives up and goes home before they become truly useful. You know, Google Glass, Google Plus, all the rest of it. Innovation as masturbation. And commitment to a community--well, can you say "Afghanistan"? We don't pay Google, Google uses us, like a Vampire.

3 Stars because this is a great thing you've made, but recently ruined. Finally there was a free software such as this one, but then you started charging your top users and removing features if they refused to pay, while adding nothing if they paid. This sort of paywall is a massive setback

This extension is outstanding. Does exactly what I need. Fill a huge void. Could it have a few more features... sure but, it is constantly being improved. I use it daily for life & work.

As a longtime fan of Tasks, I found this was a great way to manage my quickly growing lists and respective categories... I love that it's quick and responsive, and a simple UI! Now I should get back to actually checking all this stuff off!!! ??

I use this tool all day every day to stay organized at work. It's incredibly helpful keeping track of my to do's in quick easy format. No clue why Google doesn't support thier own tool with a better interface, but thankfully this extension is available to do the job. I gladly paid for the full version.

Great app now that I can re-order the lists using Chrome extension. Pity that's not possible on phone though. Still could do with some improving with how to drag and slot items in lists but I have to say it's the very best task list organiser I've come across and I've tried many. I really like that I can use a computer to add or edit as well as being able to use the list on a phone when I need it. My main bug was not being able to order them how I want, or even alphabetically, but now that is available in chrome, I give it 5 stars. Well done developers!
