I am on the latest version of Chrome and Brave. The extension does work but you have to close out of the browser and open it again. I did close all of the tabs if that matters.
Doesn't work. I see that it used to work for people, but it's not working right now.
Doesn't work at all. Tried installing it a few times. Followed all the instructions in several YouTube videos, however it doesn't work for me. PLEASE fix this because this extension would be very useful. I can't believe that there aren't any other options. This is the only one and it doesn't work =(
Did work but now in Chrome 105.0.5195.125 no work again on PC/Mac :-< Too bad as this was an awesome extension and much needed in Slides!
Works perfectly! I wish Google had this in Slides by default.

Working well so far - exactly what I needed
This is fantastic! As a teacher I need a timer for my Slides all the time. I want to give students time to process or discuss with their elbow partner. How is this free?! So helpful!
I REALLY wanted to like and use this extension. Despite following everyone's advice and the instructions on the website and on an article about this extension, it never worked. I will find something else to use.
Hi I am a Teacher in the United States! I installed this app once, because another teacher told me. I removed it because I didn't know how to use it. Now I looked on TechWeb (My Schools teachers curriculum website) on how to use it. I tried installing it again, but when I clicked on the icon the second time nothing came up, no instructions but only settings. I am Bummed for loosing this experience :( Please fix it. I am giving it a 2 because it's a well deserving extension, but for me it doesn't work :(

I can't get this to work in a published presentation shared via the web (we use this method to Chromecast to television monitors in our agency lobbies/stores and staff have requested a clock slide with the current time). If anyone has found a workaround I'd love to learn about it!
works better than the rest. just not really pretty. can use different kinds of font.
It is a simple and highly functional extension. However I was unable to display time in 12 hours format with AM/PM when inserting <<time>> as instructed. The time is shown in 24 hours format instead. Hope this bug will be fixed soon.
Worked without any issues. Using on Google Slides on a HP Chromebook.
Great idea. Works in presenter mode but not in a published slideshow
This extension didn't work for me when the email account that I was accessing my google slides from was different from the email account that download google extension. As soon as I used the same email account to access the google slides it worked like a charm! Thank you

Works well! Cons: - timers are always left aligned - timers do not activate when put into a textbox (put into a rectangle instead) Pros: - Super easy to use! No video embeds necessary - Presenter View is again supported :)

Great for a (virtual) classroom! Make sure you edit the extension permission in the extensions manager tab, or it won't work.
I was excited to use this extension, but it does not work.
I used it for just about everything and then it stopped working on us. Such a shame for it was very helpful with productivity. Best to you in hopes you can repair or replace this extension
This extension does not work at all. The site claims it's compatible with my device. I tried installing it repeatedly. The icon NEVER shows, so apparently it's never available. This was a huge waste of planning time.
Works great and when Google made some changes that broke it the dev immediately jumped into the comments and said they'd work on fixing it over the weekend. Great support for a free extension.

So simple and cool! I was looking for a countdown timer for Google Slides, and this is perfect. You can use any font, bold, etc. Most other solutions I found when searching for this involved embedding and muting a YouTube video into the presentation. This works much better and is much more versatile. The count up and current time features are added bonuses. I'm sure I can find good opportunities to use them going forward.
Amazing! However, when I try a "presenter view" and the slide shows in the browser and not as full screen, it does not work.
