It does work but you must close Chrome. Sort of like the old fashioned reboot after install. It is quite lovely thereafter. A simple instruction would help there ratings, it is a shame because it is a very nice feature that should have been built in. I hope Google just buys them out for millions ?

Worked great. Hard to find the settings so that would explain why people are frustrated, but that's a chrome issue not the extensions issue. I followed Michelle's review and found it no problem. You do have to hover for a second for the color name to appear but that's no problem and it will reinforce it as I memorize the colors. To change the names: On the Chrome 3-dot menu (in your browser menu not your calendar), choose More Tools, then Extensions. Find this extension, click the slider to turn it on (if it isn't already). Then click View Details. In the list you'll see "Extension Options"--click there, and THIS is where the menu is to change the labels. After that I refreshed my calendar and I was up and running. Thanks for a great and simple tool!

Give it a try! Make sure you leave the left column as the original color labels. On the right column enter the names you want applied. After I make changes I refresh my calendar. Usually the first color option I hover over will show the original name for a second but then start hovering over everything else and you will see all your labels there.
