It's okay and gives you most of the general info, but it there's info it doesn't give like checkboxes and attachments. It's outdated compared to TrelloExport which gives you just about every info, besides Powerup stuff.

Love this extension. I use it every week to export my task list into my time-sheet at work. This developer is doing the lord's work.

This extension may not be supported any more, but it does work. As others here have noted once you add the extension to chrome you no longer need to do anything through the extension/widget. The way it works is this: * install Chrome extension "Export for Trello" * Reload the Trello board that you want to export to Excel. * Navigate to the Menu ... (three elipsis top right) * select Menu option "Print and Export" * select "Export to Excel" file will download in background as "Whiteboard.xlsl" file. Open and profit. Cheers.

This is such an excellent tool. I struggled for so long trying to find a way to download my archive. This made that process incredibly easy. I highly recommend it.

For a quick export of Titles, Description, Labels, and a link to the full item, this is a great quick and fast export of Trello items. Some of the other feedback speaks to comments and checklists for export. While this sounds nice, people are requesting multi-dimensional data exports. You won't get a "flat" spreadsheet, you would have to have a multi-table export. I think the simplicity of this export is great.

Great add-on, one recommendation is to add card created date, this would be very helpful as not all cards would have a due date.

Need custom fields data also. We added lots of custom fields which is not fetching in the excel. Tool is very good.

Love the idea - want to use it so that I can easily generate meeting minutes after writing in the comments section of cards - BUT no comments are exported - please introduce supporting export of comments

Not useful for me without the custom fields. Otherwise works well !

Simple and very easy to use. Backup works well, exactly what I needed as 'just incase' peace of mind. Shame it doesn't copy check lists, but not the end of the world, just used screen shot for the important ones.

Didn't work for me. Little gray icon with red X on it. Maybe I needed a premium trello account? Couldn't figure it out so I uninstalled.

It's very easy to use and the Excel table is clear and understandable. I'm not rating higher because it lacks exporting comments and checklists. In our company we are widely using checklists to specify the functionality tests to be run to assess the task in the card, so lacking these checklists in the exported Excel makes this App useless for us

Works great. Did take a couple refreshes of the browser to get the option to appear. Also noticed that it supports points. If you add (5) before the title of a card it will add a points column with 5 points.

The extension does not work. Installed it, and tried new tabs, reopening chrome etc, but the export link never appears alongside the board name on my trello screen.

Great BUT needs support for custom fields

Brilliant. I decided to switch from Trello to Dynalist (also highly recommended) as my task manager. However only being a Trello Gold member (not a business member) I was limited to JSON and printing as my only export options. JSON is an incredibly complex format that nothing seems to accept as input and printing as a pdf gave me a nice picture but it wasn't possible to select text and cut & paste. Useless! I came across Export for Trello and added it to Vivaldi (my favorite browser) and it worked perfectly first time. I just selected the item title column in the spreadsheet and pasted into Dynalist. Fantastic.

Seems to no longer be supported. I have the issue where the extension is inactive on the toolbar. Have restarted my computer, browser, etc several times. Have tried navigating through various boards and lists. Nothing seems to enable the extension to work. I am on a Mac running Sierra and using Chrome. I would sure like it to work, but see others have reported this to support with no resolution. (I will change my review if this issue is resolved.)

Agree with other reviews - this is a must have for Trello users! And I agree also that exporting checklists and comments would be useful.

Awesome add on that saves me 10 bucks a month. I actually find it even better than Trello's native csv downloader, especially since this is free and Trello charged 10/month for the privelage.

Just need to add the ability to export comments but still super useful.

So glad to find this! I've quit Trello a couple of times because of the lack of export options for free users (my needs simply don't justify the price tag for an upgrade). I've tried several workarounds to save retyping card text, but this is the best yet.

The only thing that would make this absolutely fantastic is being able to include Checklists when exporting to Excel. Any chance that this is possible?

I use Trello to manage projects internally. I use "Export for Trello" to communicate with external stakeholders in a format that they understand. It's great.
