So far it's pretty good... I'm using it to help stay focused... every 2 hours I take a break from working from home. To those saying it has a "60 minute" or "1 hour" cap... that doesn't seem to be the case (at least not anymore)... True, you can't set the timer based on number of hours... but you just set the time to 180 minutes (3 hours), 120 (2 hours), etc... I don't see any limitations on number of minutes or seconds you can input so as long as you can do the conversion from minutes (or seconds) to hours, then you're golden. I like that you can select the alarm sound, how long it will play, the volume of the alarm, and the pop up message. So far it's good. I haven't tried the alarm based on clock (setting a specific time).

Extension is great, but somehow it's not working every time. What I'm doing is using it by pressing on the icon, then writing minutes or seconds and pressing Enter. Sometimes this works, other times it does not accept the Enter, nor the Start button. Have to try several times to have it work. Other times it works straight away. I'm on ChromeBox btw. Is there anything I should setup to have it work 100% of times? Thanks!

Seems to use UTC instead of my local time. That's pretty useless.

This is good and helpful, The only thing that'd make it better is if you could set a longer countdown. I take courses online so for online exam/final exam preparation, I would be nice to have a longer countdown. like I said, little things, this is great overall.

Simple! Seconds/Minutes timer. Sounds off & popup displays on screen, "Alarm went off". Great for my workouts (rest time between sets).

This is perfect and to those people who are complaining about not having hours well if you just try writing 60 minutes it actually works! wow genius or you know write it in the little box... come on they don't need to label logic.

It can't seem to figure out what time it was. I tried to set it for 6 30 am at 7 30 pm and it said it was going to go off in 16 hours.

Love the simplicity & ease of use. Does exactly what it claims to do - sound an alarm and/or displays a popup after a specific time period. The UI is so easy to use that I can quickly set it up and get on my business.

Tried to set a timer for 1 hours. It didn't work. Tried to set an alarm for 6:00, didn't work. When I say it didn't work, I mean that I had to put my hours into minutes and nothing happened when I set the alarm for 6:00. I would strongly recommend that you should not get this extension. As soon as I got this timer and tried it out, I hated it. My alarm never went off and I spent 10 minutes trying to fix it.

I loved it, everyone says that they wish it could be set for more than 60 mins, but all you have to do it put in the correct number for, example: 120 mins for 2 hours. As I said before, I loved this app and I recommend this app for everyone looking for something good and free!

The count down timer is just fine -- hours would be nice but you can just enter the hours as 60*h seconds. The optional alarm sounds and volumes are nice. The alarm clock doesn't use local time so it is not very useful.

It's a nice enough little timer, but it has some serious limitations. As has been mentioned by other reviewers, this timer needs: *The ability to set in "hours", not just a 60 minute "cap". *The ability to "preset" times. *The ability to set multiple timers at once (3-4). Also, I've noticed that every once in awhile, the timer just resets for no reason, usually after the minutes flip to counting down the final 59 seconds.

I would like to rate this better if if I could use "hour", too. And at the same time, I need to calculate the time as "GMT -7". Because this kind of gadgets is necessary, I hope these are improved.

Exactly what I needed. I didn't need a clock. I needed a countdown timer. Thanks for this amazing app!

I wanted a simple alarm for my laptop to time watering areas of a family member's lawn that I was house sitting. Simply click the Icon in Chrome, input the amount of minutes, and hit enter. When time's up, it beeps until you click OK on the pop-up. Very simple and quick, does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Easiest alarm to use. Good options. But needs fix for time-of-day entry.

I just needed an alarm that would for sure work in 8 hrs time. This one has the loud boop-boop sound that wakes me up and is very simple to use. I would advise it for anyone who is just looking for a simple alarm.
