Great extension would like to see more support on it though im stuck at setting variables up to strings like I want to be able to run the same variable for first name, last name , address etc

This extension has been a game changer! Filling out abuse report forms for registrars and hosts can be super tedious. I have created dozens of custom form-fills across a wide variety of providers. Using hot-swappable variables has greatly improved my efficiency. I am hosting a Github repo that can be shared and implemented by a number of my peers (SOC analysts).

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS extension. Why? Because the developer FORCES you to buy this. When it was free - it was one of the best out there to simplify my work, now you CANNOT USE IT UNTIL YOU BUY IT FOR 5 DOLLARS A MONTH! Apparently, the developer is too stupid to not undermine his reputation,reputation of his app and make it less mandatory (make a slight notification that the donation would be appreciated, create a patreon account - as any other normal dev would do). Instead, you just cut off functionality all together and I will simply find another autofiller, which is free. Do not recommend.

It's the only one we could find that could autofill Google Forms, thank goodness.

Actually works. Only extension i tried that actually was easy to figure out and works. The instructions are right on top of the web page and guides you through it. Thanks! Works with check boxes too.

It's been great and today there's a big banner saying paid subscription of $5/mo is being asked, and support for Java is being dropped on the free version. It's confusing to know if it will keep working. I doubt I'll subscribe at this price.

Does not work. Stuck at Generating rules

Poor - its method for adding jQuery described in the manual does not work - even the method for adding jQuery which works in Snippets does not work there Replaceable by Snippets, thus pointless.

This saves me 3 clicks when i process a courier ticket for shipping. At around 30 packages a day, this is saving me close to 100 unnessesary clicks every day which i think is a massive time saver in my small business. It just works great for me. Thanks

It has a little bit of a learning curve, but it is well worth the investment. It has saved me TONS of time for years now.

Its does not work for Modal windows

That thing is super smart and handy! Recommend for any developer that has to deal with passing data to test something and it's a tedious process (99% devs have to do that I guess). The javascript feature is also awesome and helpful! Thanks a lot to creators!

Not exactly what needed (there's no way to autorun on pages unless triggering a profile rule via hotkey), but it absolutely helped me limit the massive frustration of having to always scroll through the autofill popup in chrome (which even after decades still leaves a lot to be desired) since Chrome always signs you out of the account on quit, hence requires you to sign in again each time it's launched again. And since autofill doesn't allow "pairing" websites with a default entry (when multiple are present) to use on a given site (including google account site used to sign into chrome), whatever is the first entry is what will be used which it often overrides whatever the user has started writing in the username field. Since the idiotic UI of Google requires users to input username then load another page to input the password, it might be useful to have a way to "pair" both pages so that as soon as they're done loading they'd be filled with a user-selected default entry so all said user will have to do is to hit done/submit. Under Context Menu - "Add rules for this page/field" doesnt work. Button [Generate Autofill Rules] doesn't work afte form was all filled in. had to add all rules manually. once done, it would only work if I had "On all Sites" selected under the "This can read and change site data". in short; it needs some love to be useful

I think I used it like a year ago, but now it just does not fill the form. And does not give any error.

Works great, but not auto-fill on hidden fields (even with the option checked).

Wonderful little tool!

wasted my time. it's now working. I filled form, saved profile with it, told me that it saved all 12 fields. Refreshed page, to automatically fill it: not working. I manualy switched between multiple profiles and nothign worked. I used last Chrome Version. I switched to another extension with similar functionality, but at least it works!

If there is a problem in the site, this plugin may not work, so try reloading the site from the login and not the link with the token that may have expired and the site may also be messed up showing invalid things for that token. OLD: It does not work. I do not understand... I create a config, everything auto configured looks correct: the regex to match the field ID and the value to fill, but when I click to fill the field nothing happens!! no matter how I try to run it, nothing never happens :(. Also there is no single warning or error line at the inspect console. And after I try to autofill and it fails, it says nothing about why it failed. Any help?

Go High Level CRM doesn't support signatures on text sms messages and this extension is a lifesaver because it adds the signature for me.

Do update versions, you broke what it worked iin old versions.

The Autofill extension suddenly become useless when it is updated to version 10, and 10.0.8. It is just not working anymore!!! Why does the author update the extension, and make it from working to not working? Besides, it is so difficult to understand the new menus.

I used to love this up until very recently When they upgraded to version 10.0.0 , Version 10 is corrupted and worse of All there is no Right click - Quick access to Execute Profile Previously this app worked very well (Five stars*****) . The drop-down menu Pop-Up Fails frequently and it's just un-reliable so I mostly use it to create new profile but once it has been saved the right click quick access menu is much more reliable for Executing quickfill. You need to give us the option to use the older version 9.6.6 Why was the right click quick access execute profile removed. Some browsers block drop down pop-up so give us the option to use right click to execute profile. I can simply create a CSV file on one computer and transfer to another computer and everything works perfectly as long as the right click option is there but when it is removed and instead you're forced to use the drop-down menu some browsers block it some browsers don't interpret instructions properly it failed frequently so fix this problem. You need to add the option of an - ALWAYS ON INFO-BAR DROPDOWN MENU . ??

autofill no fields have been changed

This app will not work unless you give it permission to read your browsing history. Browsing history can include unique identifiers and sensitive information which are often included as parameters in URL's such as your email address, usernames, etc. I find it difficult to see genuine reason as to why the developers insist on being able to read people's browsing history, as this information could be used in malicious ways. Perhaps they are selling this information on to other parties or something of this nature.

Works really well as a simple add-on tool to your Chrome browser!! Things that could be improved: * Does not come up as a result when searching the Chrome Web Store?? * The ability to delete old Profiles

i am facing problem with auto fill. when ever i save new form and next time i want to open or choose another saved form it doesnt work. it show only last saved form. other saved form doesnt fill.

Given all the good reviews, I had high hopes for this. The user interface is unintuitive and having the help/documentation section neatly tucked away via a button inside the options window in the bottom left corner of the screen does not help new users. The most glaring problem I have faced is not the obvious issue of it not working but that there are no error messages/notifications or any signs of interactivity to let me know it is actually doing anything after interacting with it.

Works as claimed. Yes, it's really for developer types. You just gotta spend a little time to get to know it. My favorite feature by far is the variables capability that lets you create a JavaScript powered variable that can then be used to auto-fill field values. This is super nice.

it didnt work on Google Forms

Nearly useless for a developper. Does create rule for readonly and hidden input field, and more annoying even, doesn't execute rules (even when manually created) if the field is on readonly or hidden.

It makes my life 10x faster. Now I can complete my 5 hours of work in half an hour. Thankyou developer for this awesome extension.

Doesn't seem to automatically fill a form when a new element appears on a page. Takes a few manual clicks and doesn't save me any time.

Amazing, except for the fact that I have no idea how Javascript works and the help page wasnt all that helpful. If anyone knows what script I have to put to autosubmit a google form please send help, thank you :(

Te autofill function works very well and it has a lot of options if you dont want to do the automatic process. the only thing i worry about is the password phishing but lol who cares

Frequently "forgets" filled forms and auto-fill rules have to be re-generated. Very annoying.

Quite possibly saved my fathers life. My state's Covid vaccine signup are a mess, you have to wait to see a slot available (and they are releasing in small lots at infrequent times) and then rush through 5 pages of data entry and pick a timeslot before they all disappear. Fill out too slowly and you go back to the beginning.

This is an amazing tool for anyone who wishes to autofill forms for repetitive tasks. It's very flexible and advanced in terms of an autofiller. Requires some setup in some cases, but that's worth it if it saves you several hours.

I like the idea, though it partly works, misses a field or 2 even though the field names are correct on the rules. A bit buggy on the profiles,i seem to lose the profiles after saving them or importing to them.

Not for the faint of heart: it would benefit from a walk-through tutorial to just get you started if there is a single form you need to fill out over and over. In my case it was very helpful in updating about 100 forms, saving me a ton of time and frustration. But if I hadn't already known what a regular expression was, I would have had a very frustrating time with this as well. But if you know something about HTML, etc., you will find this very helpful.

HOW TO AUTO UPLOD DOCUMENT PLEASE HELLP ME..

This is a really awesome tool for development/testing. What features I've used so far are quite reliable (not buggy), and it's really easy to use. I see some reviews claim it doesn't work or is too difficult to use. Both claims are wrong, it is working fine for me and I'm guessing those who couldn't figure out how to use it haven't read the instructions. If you read the instructions and still can't understand it, try clicking on the support link near the top of this page.

Yeah so i needed to refresh the target web page tab in order to make it work (lighting symbol goes from gray to yellow) and then followed the prompted instructions to get the desired result!

There doesn't appear to be any instructions on how to use this software. I cannot get it to work reliably.

Very difficult to use. Doesn't work on Google Form. Chrome Autofill works like a charm there but it has very less fields.

Doesn't work.

It works assuming you do it right, problem is that the guide is awful and leaves out so much information making it impossible to figure things out, this is proven by the sheer amount of support threads on the forum asking how to do things. The author really needs to make a better tutorial and not leave out so much. There is no explanation of how to use something like class or onclick, non whatsoever. Fix your guide dammit.

Totally useless. Never auto fill any field. They even don't provide a manual fill button. And is there any human working on this extension nowadays? This issue has been raised since 2018 and they never think about fix it.

Super powerful autofill tool that can handle most fill-in and radio button fields but not perfectly intuitive at first. I think a lot of people get confused by the fact that you need to set it to the "All" profile if you're storing multiple websites worth of data. Otherwise it may not autofill as expected. I especially like that I can add javascript to my fill-ins for generating unique usernames/passwords on test accounts, and that the fill-ins can be backed up (Though the backup tool isn't perfect). Has saved me hundreds of hours of tedious manual entry at this point.
