Great simple layout, but the bookmarks bar is missing.
This is a really nice NTP extension. It not only gets rid of the incessant GOOGLE-IN-YOUR-FACE, but is customizeable to a high degree. Custom CSS lets you change icon background to transparent, and size of the icons can be set via the export/import function (adjust value of appIconSize in export pane, select all, copy and paste to import pane, and import). Kudos to the Dev .. this one is a keeper.
this extension is great. dont really know how this is not higher in some of the basic search terms for this type of extension. this extension really gives google chrome alot less branding, and is simple to use. i cant rate this higher than 5 stars, but if i could it would be 10 stars out of 5. great for somebody looking for a fresh coat of paint to their browser.
One of my stable extension, new tab looks much better, esp. with custom favicons. I like that you can use custom css code, favicons looks better with transparent background like this: .app { background-color: transparent; }

HOW TO ADD YOUR OWN BOOKMARKS 1. Open a NEW tab. 2. Click SETTINGS cog wheel in the bottom left. 3. Click EDIT SHORTCUTS in the middle. It will tell you to open a new tab page first............ BUT KEEP THIS PAGE OPEN. 4. Open a SECOND NEW tab page. 5. Again, Click SETTINGS cog wheel in the bottom left. 6. Again, Click EDIT SHORTCUTS in the middle. It should then let you edit the shortcuts in the middle of the new tab page. Hover over the bottom edge of the icons to delete or grab and rearrange. You can edit or add new URLs and also find an icon or just google a logo/icon and copy its image address and paste it there. Then, click the X to close the URL edit box and then CLICK SAVE button.

Won't let me add or remove links, so unless I'm looking to use facebook, youtube, or 9gag (!?? really?!) this thing is completely useless. Half the options radio buttons are invisible, the mouse cursor will change when you mouseover where they should be but you can't interact with them otherwise. Tried again with all my other extensions turned off, still had the same problem.
All I want to do is add a new shortcut!! I searched Github for author NOTHING! I searched this site ... NOTHING I'm removing this extension NOW!!!
Pleasant viewing for the eyes, nice and elegant design. IDK, why mine can't load the rss feeds
I love this extension as it is very simple and customizable. The only problem I have with this is that you cannot move the shortcuts around the whole screen. Thanks!!!
Ha. Freaking love this extension. I have 30 icons and I arranged them in a colorful way. If I docked my laptop to a monitor, the layout would auto-arrange, messing up my color scheme. I emailed Zack and within 4 hours he had a version I could install to test. It worked perfectly and then two days later this update was live. Too cool.

Great add-on! Best of the many "new tab" add-ons I've tried since my switch to Chrome. Simple in design and implementation but very useful and stylish. A++

Best new tab extension I've used; looks great, easy to customise, goes well with Chrome and material design. The animation when clicking an icon is brilliant. Perhaps a search bar and access to Google apps could be useful but not a necessity, at least in my case.
Got 12 sites configured, but that seems to be all the devs think you need. And no way to access your Chrome apps page.

Won't let you remove the apps it wants on the screen, and I see no way to add sites to link to. Rubbish app.
Fetching the icon automatically from the extension would be a nice bonus, but this is an excellent, quick, great looking, and functional new tab extension. Very pleased with it.
It was so much better before - the whole point is that it was a fast MINIMAL new page tab and they keep adding stuff! :/

limited to 12 links. Doesnt automatically fetch the favicon from custom links. Looks great!, but just missing some features I'm used to and which seem important at this point.

This extension has come from a long way. It is great to use! I constantly request the author for features and he doesn't fail to commit his time to improve the extension. :)
Best new tab page by a mile. Fantastic customization, clean and minimalistic. Everything I've been looking for.

simple and works nice, but I am looking for something where I can use custom urls for the main thumbnails
Perfect. Minimal. Addresses privacy concerns with "most visited pages". Lets me customize apperance. I'm glad I can lose what I hated before and not be stuck with a white screen with no functionality.

This is awesome! I have been looking for a new tab page like this for a long time! A few suggestions: - Have a bookmark bar at the top (major) -Support for more icons (Minor) - and icon on the bottom left for the webstore (medium) Otherwise, I LOVE IT!! I have never found a new tab page that I am fully satisfied with, but yours does it.
