So basically I can save articles to the reading list BUT cannot read the items on the reading list (the most basic feature) and cannot delete articles from it. It's a joke, why can't Wikipedia just incorporate the reading list into their website?
As of 2022 this extension has now broken and Wikipedia hasn't bothered to update it. It's ridiculous that reading lists are only supported in the mobile apps and no where else.. But there is hope! It looks like someone built another extension using the same APIs that actually works. You can find it here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wikipedia-reading-lists/ledhaefolaamkihlcbjbongijbmmakip They have the same name so remove/disable this one first. Also I do wish the official Wikipedia one actually worked, since I trust it more...
Does not work as desired. Missing features: - remove a page from reading list - view and manage reading list - sync reading list with Android app - quickly tell if a page is in the reading list
Does not work anymore
Completely useless. This extension only lets you add pages to your reading list, nothing more. You can't show the reading list, and you can't even remove a page from the list once added.
Can only save. Can not unsave. Can not show list. Very useless.
Either very flawed description or a very bad execution of the addon. Reading list cannot be viewed nor edited. Doesn't sync as advertised. Removed it after 15 minutes. Dissapointing experience.
Straight up doesn't work at all. Even when given permissions, there is no option to add an article to your reading lists.
cant get wikipedia app added to my homescreen
Not intuitive or helpful at all. It only lets you add a page you are currently viewing on desktop to your reading list by clicking the logo that appears in the address bar. Nothing more. There is no way to view or manage your list contents, let alone resume reading from mobile onto desktop.
Does not support lists.
thank you very much.
Does what it says on the tin.
