I am a HUGE fan of this app. I absolutely love seeing all my apps in one place when I open a new tab. Thank you!

For a long time this was the best solution to chrome removing the apps tab, but for the last 6 months or so I have noticed I can no longer arrange the app icons the way I want. They seem to go where they want to go, and any time I open that page on a new computer they duplicate the same behavior even on a fresh system and browser reinstall. Will be looking for a new alternative if this can't be fixed soon.

Love this extension. But I get some weird thing when using an extended monitor with my laptop: when a Chrome window is open on my laptop screen all works normally. But when I drag a Chrome window over to my extended monitor and click on an app icon, the link opens in another window (as if I had selected 'open link in new window', but I didn't). Any way to fix this? Just a bit annoying to have to always be dragging new Chrome windows back into groups.

I was hoping this extension would restore the app access in a new tab per the description....when i click on the extension it takes me back to the extension page....not what was advertised....so still looking for a solution to restore this feature.

Loved it forever, the omnibar doesnt even bother me because i love opening my tab to see all my apps. i do have one recent problem, which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. i switched over to a new laptop, and now the extension only shows chrome webstore. where did gmail, docs, youtube, sheets, etc. go???

It does not work when i click the extension

This extension is either hijacking my machine to mine bitcoins or it is written with the most inefficient kind of code. Uses 110% of laptop power when enabled and Chrome is open. This makes absolutely no sense at all, what could it be doing besides its stated function?

Took most of my morning to discover this extension has now started injecting misc ads into my Google search - removed!

Simple. Does what it says it does. I wanted to display app view when opening a new tab - this does it perfectly. Very nice extension. Thank you.

Great app to hide those 8 obnoxious thumbnails that Google Chrome won't let us disable. Just move the apps onto the second page by dragging them to the right.

It doesn't work when I try to use it, and when I open a new tab all it says is "this site can't be reached. The web-page at chrome://apps/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new address.". It is very annoying and highly disappointing, especially after a review left on april 16, 2018 indicating that it still works

This extension completely got rid of the eight thumbnail boxes at the bottom of my Chrome home page, which I was really happy about since I wanted to be able to see my new theme I had just gotten so, YAY!(: But it also got rid of the Google sign when you load up a new tab, so I was a bit disappointed, but, hey, it works if you just want to see your apps with your theme when you load up a new tab.

As many have mentioned, the URL bar is no longer highlighted when opening a new tab. I have put up with this for several months, but I can't handle it anymore. I have disabled this extension and won't be using it anymore until it is updated.

Needs to clear the search bar when tabs are open.

Leaves URL with chrome://apps/, which you need to remove manually before typing your search query. Thus makes it unusable, removed within a minute of use.

This rating will change once text selection has been fixed.

Works fine to show the apps, but unusable due to having to manually delete the omnibar text before typing/googling. Very annoying.

The latest Chrome version broke the highlighting of the chrome://apps.

The omni-bar no longer auto-clears or gets selected - so you have to clear the address bar manually before typing. Extension hasn't been updated in a while, so I wouldn't hold out hope for a fix...

wow this solved all of my problems, i searched so much for a clean new tab so i can see my theme this fixed it :) no i can see the beautiful theme :D, great job!

I like it, but it annoys me that the chrome://apps is highlighted. It could be just me though...

I really love this extension. I can easily access the apps I use the most, plus I can see my theme a lot better. Thank you so much for making this!

Good but not works in incognito tabs

It's a good extension, but with my overwhelming OCD of trying to perfectly display my theme, the apps bar on the bottom is quite irritating. (Is there any possible way to rid of it?)

Cannot support Chromebook.

Doesn't work on Ubuntu (15.04) + Chrome (Version 51.0.2704.106 (64-bit)). Apps are still being opened as new Window, not as Tab.

EXACTLY what I was looking for! I like simple and minimalist themes for my PC. Everything else I found added fancy pictures and features and all I wanted to do was change the "new tab" page. Thank you very much for this!

Why does it need to view my browsing history? Can we not have any privacy without every extension reading our data?

you can just type chrome://apps into your search bar for this google feature this app is merely useless except for mildly lazy beings.

Excellent extension for google services fans. A must have!

Very useful and works as promised. There is a minor bug: When you first open Chrome (not a new tab), it does not select the address bar, you have to click on it first before typing a new address.

Very useful, but when I re-order the displayed apps by drag'n'drop to how I want, the manual ordering is only kept for the remainder of that chrome session. If order is being kept in session storage, would be good to change that to local storage.

the apps would show in grey rather than color and they show as generic cubes rather than their usual icon shape.

This app made my day! For those who want to disable the thumbnail of the most visited pages in new tab, just add it to chrome and then move all the Apps of the first Apps page to second/other Apps pages, so that the first Apps page will be blank. Then activating the New Tab page will show your first blank Apps page and you can see the theme background.

It works. Slight nitpick is that it basically types "chrome://apps" in the URL bar which is a bit distracting but it may be a technical limitation of Chrome.

Great - also added the Google calendar App so that I can use this with ease at work! I'm a teacher - time is of the essence! Way to go Google.

Love this extension. But in OSX, the URL field leaves 'chrome://apps' which is annoying to have to clear out each time to type in my URL or search target.

Not always available in Windows 10. Had to reinstall, not sure why.

A fantastic alternative for the new tab screen. // PLEASE add a script to clear the URL at the top so that Google searching is ready to go after adding a new tab.

Every time i made a new tab, it showed up. i suggest not getting it. SMILE!

There was one problem: if chrome crashes, next time it opens, then click to restore page disappears quickly and the new app page turns up. Thus it is hard to restore the previous session.

It's nice, but need to clear the omnibar after open a new tab, this is very annoying. So, I'll look to other solution, it works well on Windows, but in OSX, don't.

Great extension! Can you add to this script for the URL box to clear itself after calling the chrome://apps. It makes it somewhat difficult to start typing new text or URLs, so it'd be worth it to let the apps screen load, and then clear it from the URL box.
