Blocks the ENTIRE site, useless.

When it blocks a site due to a false positive, there is a button that reads "trust this site" so we can continue to the site. I find that helpful because I tried another site where I could not even get a reply to my messages to allow me to see clean sites that probably were just mentioning products from the Naked brand of juice or something innocent.

EXCELLENT, even for other uses! Since antivirus suites no longer allow you to type undesirable URLs into the firewall, this extension comes as a true blessing! Even for those who don't care about filtering "adult" content, this is useful to get rid of "clickbait" websites and other annoying pests. You can insert your own filters the EASY way! (True, it requires some TLC. For example, since Google now owns "Doubleclick", getting rid of Doubleclick may also block YouTube, so I had to cancel that filter. But aside from a few exceptions like that, it is EXTREMELY useful!)

the free version is useless. Subscription adds up to $$$ over time.

NOT FREE. In order to change any settings to make it worth having installed you need to buy a registration.

Works great. It seems much more thorough and effective than other filter and it's very fast. It has occasionally blocked a page I didn't want it to, but it's easy enough to add the page to the list of trusted sites. It was also very easy to add my own filtering criteria.

The new versions just keep getting better and better. This is just what I was looking for. It works really well for blocking pages that I don't want my kids to see. What's cool is that it completely hides a page while it is checking it over. Other filters that I have tried actually allow the page to be seen for a second before they block it.

Utterly sucks. After install I right click to select an element I want to block and I'm taken to a page that forces you to register. You follow that link and you're brought to another that displays several purchasing options with only ONE link on the entire page to paypal. It's not free folks!

Loved the product, but it caused my tabs to load uncompleted. If you open tabs in the back ground they won't load, you have to wait with the tab open watching the load progress circle scrolling endlessly - Very irritating.

It seemed to do it's job in Chrome by blocking undesirable sites but also either slowed down or stopped many regular pages loading first time (I was constantly having to refresh to get them to load) and for some reason after installing FoxFilter, Chrome seemed to think many English websites were Spanish and offered to translate them! I had to disable it.

One of best blocker I've used. easy to use and remove. best for Mozilla and chrome also. no need to type URL or site address one by one to block. just save the key word and fox filter will block it. every should try it at once then you feel the difference! Love it!

Sadly the settings show up when it blocks a site which makes it very easy to change setting. Other than that it blocks Google searches and images very well.

This extension is exactly what I was looking for and does exactly what it says it will do. It does make browsing a tiny bit slower but not enough to make a difference. Bonus? You can edit the settings to work even in the incognito browser. With more and more garbage showing up all the time online, this is a FANTASTIC extension for keeping the garbage away.

This program is definitely above average in quality, but has some issues. For one, it does an excellent job in filtering, preventing myself and any friends from accessing certain websites. Additionally, it password-protects access to all your extensions, so you can't just turn them off on a whim. However, it does significantly slow down browser speed and blanks out pages when opened. If they could fix these issues, then this app would likely be one of the most popular offered.

Exactly what I looking for to blocks the Happy Tree Friends from my son on YouTube. This is excellent tool!

Working well so far. There is a noticeable decline in speed because it scans before opening the page. Worth it to me.

All you have to do to get around it is open an incognito window. How useless is that...

FoxFilter does a really good job of blocking pages without having to type in a bunch of dirty words. I feel safer letting my kids use my computer now.
