I love this extension. Tons of customization options and easy to use. The only problem is that the search engine is set to bing, it'd be great if that was a feature that users can change.

the best extension in the world well that's in my opinion and why i think its the best in the world is because when i open up a new tab the best extension in the world is on my screen and it looks so good on my computer.And how i knew about this extension is because one day i was bored then i an idea so i looked up how to customize your computer and this thumbnail had this extension on it so i clicked it and the video stared and it said "go to unlimited dash"and so i went there and did what she told me and now my computer looks way better.And plus you can change the icons to so i got a picture and the logo that it was and did it for all of them and that made them look way better,i got a wallpaper that would match the theme i am using witch was a mint green type,the wallpaper was some clouds and the clouds were white and the sky is mint green,the apps i have on here are "Hulu Netflix Youtube Google Hbo max,Amazon".The thing i need help with is that Idk how to make more bookmarks on here so that's bad because i don't want to keep opening tabs because that takes up space on your chrome book and makes your computer slow and i don't want that.So if anybody could help me import bookmarks on this extension please and thank you for your time.

Changed my search to Bing

The extension is useful and beautiful. Bugs: 1. Sometimes the tab is loading forever. Have to reopen the browser to fix it. 2. Cannot add city. Wish: 1: Can place the clock immediately besides (or above) bookmarks (like the search bar) 2: Can adjust the location of the search bar.

I would give 5 star if app hasn't these problems: 1- I'm unable to add my favorite cities in timezone section. i've deleted one of existing ones & tried to add another city but each time i receive this eror: Time zone not selected 2- I need to remove most visited websites (honestly i've never tried to open these websites, maybe they are favorites of developer) or at least make me able to pin my favorites instead of them.

Love the extension, but I add my vote to getting rid of Bing & providing proper instructions. Yes, the YouTube video sucks. I ended up just adding a button for Google under the search bar, so I can access the Google apps on a single click. It's too much of a pain to add bookmarks for each. For those of you stuck trying to add bookmarks, here's a 101, as basic as I could make it. Yes, it's convoluted, but I didn't program the thing! ;-) * Do a search for the page you want. Or anything actually, since you'll change details anyway. * Right-click NEXT (in any blank space) to any of the results & select Save to uTab. That creates a button w/the page info. It doesn't matter what it is though. * On uTab, find the new button & go to the 3 dots to edit. * On a different tab, do a search for images to find an icon view for the page you want. It could be the home page, but you want something square & smallish. * On uTab, add the link to the search as URL, then click the button Create Preview. That brings you to the search page. Make sure you're in the part of the page where you can see the image you want. When a Create Preview button appears on the top right (takes a few seconds), click on that & select the image for the button by moving & resizing the grid that appears. That image will show in uTab as the icon. * Also on uTab, change the url to the page you really want. * Save your new icon, position it where you want (you may have to drag other icons out of the way first, otherwise they just trade places) & test that it opens the right page. Here's hoping this helps everyone. I don't use folders & have only about 2 dozen buttons on my home page. Please add tips here if you figure them out. Ditto if I missed anything or there's an easier way.

VERY Much NOT User friendly ! Nerdy. This uTab Desktop is undecipherable ! I CANNOT find out HOW to add a NEW uTab Bookmark Icon to the desktop ! NOWHERE - except some moronic YouTube Video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ny7EsRZk-j8) which is washed out - too light & no Contrast. Goes VERY VERY FAST ! There should be precise, WRITTEN instructions for this - and not written in Nerd Language which assumes everyone KNOWS how without being directed. Nifty and functions well, however has serious flaws: - unable to change the search engine / hide search bar - doesn't automatically read websites favicons so you have to set your own icons yourself, or take a "preview" of the bookmarked site - folders in the sidebar are all but useful as it requires maintaining a list of bookmarks separately from those in the browser. -- should just be sync'ed with a folder in browser bookmarks - numerous idiosyncrasies, like the "right/left" sidebar being stuck to the left, the timezones being restricted to a predefined list of 10 - developer website useless, FAQ are all lorem ipsum. Should be published so other developers can fork and fix, at least.

I used to LOVE this extension but then I saw it started going to bing and because my computer has had viruses before (and when i did search google it went to bing) it told me to delete a lot of things off my computer... sadly I mistook the extension going to bing as a virus and it made me delete my whole page. my moral of this story is why did you change it to bing it was a good app before but now I despise it.

This was a great extension! but as a opera user this extension was very hard to use.. when i search something and get a new tab the extension doesnt work.. i also tried looking in history to get that tab i worked for. sorry if this explanation is badly made, but u really got to fix this

Why would you not give the choice to the user for a search engine is beyond me . Did Microsoft pay you to set the default as Bing?

its very nice and ur able to customize the background and a bunch of other stuff but i cant change the search engine? its on bing and i want it to be chrome, i dont have an option to change it or anything. i have to use the url search bar instead of the main one to actually use chrome

I had to make a link to be able to choose Google Search. 5 Stars if we can choose ou search engine. Bing is for lame...

I would almost giving it 5 stars, but the Time Zone doesn't work well. You can just put in a specific time zone, and when I entered a "city" or a "city, state", it wouldn't accept it.

I love it so much, i customised my own wallpaper and screen with it and 100% recommend!!

This has sooo much promise but falls so short. I've spent the whole morning trying to work out how to add my own bookmark to the home page (like I do in Google Chrome). I am now using BRAVE browser chrome based which is why I want this app it literally answers all my needs visually, if only I knew the how. Great looking, really useful, even well thought out; lots of potential but nada instructions. I don't want to have to do a Rubiks Cube and emails to support to work out how to do an app. Oh and yes the Time Zone thingie absolutely sucks. Back to Infinite App. C,mon guys, be professional.

It is amazing. I love how I can customize it. (just advise for someone as I have no idea how to reply :)) I saw a review stating that they did not know how to use it much so they can just go and check YouTube! Everything I need is on the internet however maybe a tutorial from the start would help. It would have been a five-star but it was a little hard at first and when I introduced my friends to this, they were confused too so I think the tutorial would really help.

It worked well until today,Feb 28 2022, when it changed to chrome default I tried fixing it but it didn't work :/

This morning (February 9, 2022) I used the search bar to find it had changed from my set default search engine for Chrome (which was Google of course) to find that it somehow changed to Bing with no means of selecting a preferred search engine. BUT ... Home - New Tab Page is back up and running so I will simply switch back over to them. Bye-bye uTab!

It has a major flaw, every time you open the browser it resets the background to the default grey image with trees, other than that it's a pretty cool extension. -Browser used Brave.

I like it! But there is problem that I don't know how to resolve. I change my background, and the theme... I save it... And the next day it isn't how I saved! I don't why but I don't like this, Anyway, the app is great! I like it! <3 P.S. Please, someone tell me, why is my background changing itself a day after day?

It worked great for a long time and had no issues at all. However, suddenly, all my bookmarks disappeared and the extension stopped working. Hope the developers can figure out the problem and prevent it from happening in the future.

I tried to add a link to the dialer, to no avail. On photos they show many links on the dialer, but I'm not able to ad a single one. What is the purpose of this app?

It was good for a while, until everything disappeared; the browser integration (ability to add sites) seems to have gone away as well. I mean, it only had one job to do.

It's alright don't get me wrong, I love the customization and everything.....but at times everything that I did gets deleted and shows me the default one. This has happened atleast twice in a month now :/

i been using it for a weeks and i really love it but i wish it has a widgets but i have a problem idk why but my costumize vanished i just open it few minutes ago and it vanished and the shortcuts also vanished i wish you can fix it i spent some time to do that

When i first got it, it was amazing. I could add all bunch of stuff on my new tabs. But then after a while of using this extension, it got rid of all my things; like my bookmarks and wallpaper and turned back into the default new tab! I'm not sure what happened but I hope it gets fixed soon.

Was working fine and all of a sudden it removed all my shortcuts.

I used it for a month and every time I shut down my laptop it will go back to when I haven't decorate it like that its been like that for 5 times and its getting on my nerfs

New installation on new PC w/ Win10. Created folders and added numerous bookmarks, 5 days later everything is gone, folders and even the preinstalled bookmarks! where did they all go?? THIS IS A a potentially unsafe event! Users beware, extension needs to be flagged and perhaps reviewed by the author(s).

Eventually deleted all my bookmarks. What's the point then if it keeps deleting all of them?

Can't just type in straight link I want on start page... have to go rummaging through a 1000 bookmarks!!! Didn't they test this app? When I ask to import a bookmark it opens a desktop folder that has nothing to do with bookmarks.

I must be the odd one out. It just isn't cear to me how I'm to add a single one or two bookmarks alreadeady as sitting in a folder on my bookmarks-bar. There's no rigt click to add a new bookmark and nothing on the left menu panel. I only see the bookmark import which would be a very elaborate process to just add a bookmark at a time. I like the clean look though.

im just wondering how to edit or set the time? Ive been trying to add it (since i removed the other city time stuff) but it says i have to select a timezone first.

Redirects your searches every now and then to Bing, cannot be disabled. Setup a patreon or something, don't do this.

Loved it until it wiped everything out on the last chrome update... all my links & folders... etc... all gone. still has potential...

I like it but the reason why i can't give it a 5 star because it won't let me put my own cities time zone. When I write My city it doesn't allow me to do it.

Believe me, I love this extension. However, after the december 25th 2021 update, I lost everything. It went back to stock and I lost all of the saved items on the dashboard. I can't remember half of them. If there is any way to bring it back I'd love the help because I love this extension. It's just unfortunate what has happened and I'm on the fence currently.

I love this extension! I am a middle schooler and my lap top can get messy so this was really helpful!

Superior!! I went through about three dozen extensions before I found uTab - none of them gave me the freedom to curate the tabs as I want; all of them gave me stuff I didn't want. uTab is the best of the lot!

u-tab related - honestly I love u tab and that fact that u get to customize it so much and the transparent task bar feature when u go to the search box at the top right corn by clicking the u-tab emoticon (for anyone who wants to try it) just got me so well I love it, it goes really well with the nature wallpaper I have plus u get to customize the app links on the tab bar is a plus! so what's the issue :( The problem is the time bar NOT SHOWING UP ON THE SCREEN OR NOT SHOWING UP AT ALL-_-

I would give 5 stars. but i wish i can change the tab colour like the tabs on the top am not able to change that. i wish u could give the option to change it

I love this one. Very helpful. But sometimes when I open my chrome it goes back to default and all the bookmarks is gone, idk why :( It takes me minutes to add back all of it.

I love this !! You can really customize this to be aesthetically pleasing. It is amazing. I am a middle schooler too and it is a really nice extension to have. I can organize my school stuff from my outside school stuff which is really convenient. If I could give this 100,000 stars I would.
