DUDE!! YOU FIXED IT!! It's March 8th at 10:43pm PST (so you all know) and Wow... freaking AWESOME. That new interface sucks SO BAD and FB hates PC users. Straight up. I love this Extension and it works great! There was a small redirect issue that got fixed and now with Facebook changing their code , this is going to be a lot of work for the programmer to keep up. Good luck Mike! We're rooting for you!

I still love this extension, keep up the great work Sir Mike!! My only problem are messages; they are in the new layout unfortunately, and the whole thing is still pretty buggy... For example when I want to open an image it redirects me to another page that says this content is not available. I hope you'll find a solution soon, I wish you the best!

Thank you for this extension! I have primarily been using it for uploading photos, as there are two issues I have with Facebook's new format: 1. In the Classic design, I was able to upload photos using the date taken, and the photos were then automatically placed on my timeline by the correct date. In the new design, the date taken option instead uploads photos by the date they were modified--which is completely useless since I use programs and apps to edit photos, and I now find myself manually adjusting the date and time of each photo to reflect accurate EXIF data. 2. In the Classic design, whenever I added new photos to albums, the "Likes" and comments would accumulate on the entire album. In the new design, every time I add photos to an album, it creates a whole new "post", which doesn't add likes or comments onto the actual album and is only accessible if I scroll for the post on my timeline. I'm hoping that maybe there can at least be fixes to these particular issues, if nothing else!

Hi, Here's to wishing this extension will be fixed soon. Facebook is forcing us to go to the new version but has not yet fixed the functionalities of Facebook Groups and being able to join a group as a page. This is what only helps. Wish this will work soon.

I would like to thank the people behind this extension for the hard work. Mine was working up to the 26th of January but after people posting bad reviews it's not working anymore. I really don't understand how the hell people can be so stupid when they've been benefitting from someone's hard work for free. Who do they think they are? I've noticed my photo albums are messed up. I can't edit them anymore. I hope there's going to be a solution for this and that we can get to use the classic design again. I'll be willing to donate. Thanks again.

In no way I thought I was going to find extension like this working, let alone the one that was given for FREE, so I could use Facebook without an problems with older design (I hate new one, so slow for me). Some 1-star people need to get a life and maybe learn a bit about lifecycle of apps to understand that Facebook updates WILL break extensions liek this and it's going to happen, no way around it. KUDOS for the extension's developer for the hard work put into this. Love it!

Thank you for your hardwork, sir Mike. I give it 5 stars because it's still working at times, at least for me. I'm patient with his progress on fixing this so it doesn't matter if it's not yet fixed because it's really hard to be a developer and say what, it's also free. I know it will be fixed soon so please be patient guys. Update (2/4/21): It's totally not working anymore but I am still hoping for the fix *fingers crossed*

Out of curiosity and numerous complaints from my friends who in computer need usually come knocking at my door, I installed this extension that for the moment needs some adjustements and programming...I wonder if this one could go on GitHub open source? Looking forward to the progress of this extension.

I agree with most posters here. Please do not leave bad reviews. This is a free extension and the developer works extremely hard at getting it to work for us all, while playing cat and mouse with with the scumbags at Facebook. It's those aforementioned scumbags that your anger should be vented at for the new Facebook design, for not giving us the choice to choose between the old or new design. It's Mark F*ckerberg, and powers that be at Facebook who don't give a toss about their users - but Mike Carus DOES care about us, and constantly works hard to beat Facebook at their own game. I've been using the Switch to Classic Design on Facebook extension for a while and it fixed an issue that I was having with new Facebook. Thank you for creating the extension. But recently the extension hasn't been working. The issue that I have with new Facebook is when I share an article to a group from my newspaper's Facebook page, I no longer get the box to "include original post," which ends up being a big deal because without it, Facebook doesn't give my newspaper's page credit for the reach, likes, comments, and shares from those groups. It's weird. But when I share an article from my newspaper's page to my personal page, I get the "include original post" box. It's weird. Switching back to classic Facebook fixes that. But the extension hasn't been working for the last several days.

This is an awesome app! Really helps me with preaching the gospel like when we had the old version of Facebook! Please don't pay attention to negative reviews as there are people, like myself, who appreciate and understand your tough job given the circumstances. When you update the script, can you please fix it to where I can post in newsfeed and story at the same time like the old Facebook? The new version doesn't allow me to upload a video to story posts. Keep up the good and hard work!

I have been using this extension for Weeks now, but recently it has developed a fault that i'd like the developer to address, firstly when you click the message option it redirects to mobile messenger, secondly when i click my profile or the profile of some of my friends it shows a broken page, or page not available, the rest of the features works perfectly fine, although the home page still displays on the new facebook UI, the chat on the right corner doesn't works. Please fix as soon

EDIT: I could not access my Facebook timeline profile and groups. It says page is not available.

This was working perfectly until today January 27 2021, seems like facebook changed something since now when you go to messages using a browser in a pc, it redirects you to a mobile version of messenger that doesnt even function properly. Hopefully it gets updated soon

I am extremely grateful for this extension and I appreciate the developer's generosity in providing a free extension for all of us to enjoy. Technology is not foolproof and there are always going to be glitches. Leaving negative reviews by spoiled brats over something so clearly out of the developer's control is downright shameful. He put his own personal time and effort into this, he did it for us, and he did it for free! Come on children, show a little respect and appreciation.

This is the first extension I've seen to address the January 26th changes, so I'm looking forward to checking out your update.

It was working fine until 1/26/21 and now every page is a "Broken link".

Add-on broke overnight, but the developer is supposedly working on getting things back up and running, if there's even a way for it to be fixed at this point. DON'T leave bad reviews, because the more that happens, the longer a fix will take to happen, assuming one can still be done now!

Hi there. Super grateful for this extension as I simply cannot get used to the new layout. However, as of late, none of the pages are loading. It shows the link is broken/cannot be viewed. Hoping it gets sorted soon as this new layout is really hurting my eyes!

People, as of Jan. 26, 2021, Mike is aware of how Facebook is now blocking his scripts to the site. So PLEASE don't come on here and leave a negative review (anything 3 stars or less) or it's going to take him longer to get this fixed. Chrome will not let him fix issues within the app if you all keep giving this app less than a 4 star rating so please don't!!

As I manage several FB groups, and monitor several others, the new design was difficult to manage. Thanks for the extension that allows me to use the older version of Facebook. This morning I noticed it was not working correctly but I am guessing that it is something to do with a tweak that FB put in, and not a problem with the extension. I understand from the developer that they know the problem and working to address it. Good work from the developers.

Be Patient People. This is the best Extension out there and the developer continues to keep it working for us. Maybe all you people, who RELY on this guys extension, should take a breath and realize one person is making this possible for you before you go leave negative reviews. Give your Head a shake people. If you are so quick to leave a negative review here, the second it goes down, then you better be making an extension yourself which proves that you dont need this one to justify your negativity here. I have been using this app since FB messed up their layout. I have trouble with bright lighting so both the bright layout of the new "day mode" and the bright text of the "night mode" make it practically unusable for me. I use FB a lot to stay in touch with a host of friends and family and help out with various societal groups, to loose that was extremely troubling For me this app was a godsend, something which helped in ways FB didnt care about. I am extremely thankful to the people who put it together, thank you

(3) No page or group is loading. (4) User's pages with URL such like www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=10000232394322 are loading fine but pages with URL such like www.facebook.com/username.user aren't loading. Always appreciating your great works and dedication for our relief. Hopes, a fixation will be available to you as soon as possible. It has been great. And a big shame for facebook team, they're blocking his tool again and again. And all the users over here, it may not work for a while but the developer updates it time to time. Of all the extensions out there that revert back to the old facebook design this was the only one that worked for me until today, unfortunately facebook seem to have found a way to block it. I hope you guys can get it to work again as I hate their new design. Good luck in fixing it guys.

Worked OK until today. Today, when I opened Facebook, only the home page worked. Any other pages wouldn't open. When I turned the extension off, they opened. Apparently Facebook has done something to defeat this extension.

Loved it when it worked. Facebook has finally had its revenge on me and the extension no longer works as of the evening of January 25, 2020. FB tries to switch me to "m dot facebook dot com" when I'm using the extension—or it simply displays "page not found." Stuck with "New Layout" now on all page. The extension was great while it lasted and thanks for the hard work in creating it. At least I can use it a little bit in "New Layout—enlarged" mode.

finally this extension work

Currently running version 2021.1.11 since FB forced their mobile UI on everyone, and it's been working great. I've been working with computers for 30+ years and in all that time, that move by FB has been the worst I've seen, so much so that it annoys the hell out of me and I don't even use FB that much. Kudos to the extension developer(s) for bringing back some normality and user interface behaviour to FB.

This extension is a godsend, but lately it's not been working as well as it was. Is the extension being tweaked at all? I think it's time. However, at its best, it's ingenious and I love sticking it to Facebook.

Beware! Every time I go to Twitter with this extension enabled, I'm redirected to zaful.com. Others using the extension have reported the same problem. I loved this extension before this and am disappointed to run into this issue. Hopefully the Developer fixes this quickly.
