I read some of the reviews first before adding but I was not convinced enough so I tried adding the extension and tested it with my other Facebook account and it surprisingly work! I followed what the review said, I went to the Facebook messenger and it works! Thank you for this extension, this will be very useful!

It works ONLY in Facebook Messenger, it does NOT work in Messenger. I don't use face book because I deactivate my account because my account likes and follows people randomly. Maybe it doesnt work on Messenger because of my browser (an Opera GX).
This extension is working on both messenger and Facebook websites
FYI, this extension is for the Chrome browser on a MAC & PC desktop or laptop computer; it doesn't work on the mobile app versions of FB or Messenger. If using a computer, this works exactly as described. If using mobile app, this will not work for those.
in the facebook website, the messages are still seen, but in messenger dot com, it works. the messages are not seen
It will work if you install google chrome with admin privilege. It wont work when you install without admin privilege.
Finally one that is legit about what they're talking about!!! Tried in the past finding related extensions like this but turned out fake. Glad I found an extension like this that works just how they advertise it. !!

it's working great since installation, but i hope the devs add a new feature where you can decide whether you want the people messaged you, know if it is "delivered" or just "sent." some of you probably don't know this but whenever you're online and they sent you a message it will be seen as "delivered" in their POV. it will make this extension even greater if we could decide what the messenger sees after they send their message, ie "delivered" or "sent"

5 star cause it seems to be working so far.
Just tested it out with a friend, on both the Messenger Windows app and Chrome browser. My friend (on his mobile) saw the 'read receipt' both times.

It does keep messages from showing as "seen." This developer seems to be the only one offering unseen-type extensions that work in 2021. I use "Unseen Message" in Chrome (2021) and "Social Tools" in Firefox, both for the same purpose (i.e. keeping messages from registering as "seen"). Thank you for keeping up with FB changes!

It works really well, I've tried other "Unseener" and they don't. So far this is the only extension that currently works(As of Oct. 23, 2021 9:13 am UTC +8). I hope that this extension won't be abandoned like other extensions.

There are many but only this one works as expected, other plugins used to work but as Facebook constantly changes thing in their codes so the addon needs to be constantly updated. I'm surprised how they managed to keep up!

I'm using the new Edge browser and this works perfectly! Hope this extension won't be abandoned and it receives regular updates when needed as Facebook keeps changing something on the website that breaks this type of extension. All other Unseen extension here don't work anymore as they have not been updated, except for this new extension. Thanks for your work on this!

Works but you can't send messages. Hope they add a fix where you can send messages with the extension turned on. Edit: As of April 15, 2021 10:26am UST it's no longer working.
