Back to using AIB after needing to use Outlook for some contracting, I am over the moon that Andy and the team are still very responsive and the app, as always. works like a bomb. Stable, works 100% with new gmail look - this is still the best gmail add on for GTD, tasks etc. Excited about email again!!!

I have been using this extension for years now and it adds some much needed features for dealing with emails and for anyone who does most of their business by email, it is almost a must have in order to keep on top of everything and avoid forgetting to follow up emails or chase people for responses. If more people used something like this, then perhaps I wouldn't be spending so much time constantly chasing people for responses. Sadly this great product is let down by poor support. Ironically the AIB team do not seem to use their own product, as getting responses to emails is like getting a photo of a unicorn. Support is a painful and time consuming process requiring endless chasing of emails, usually over several months and being constantly told "we will get back to you", which of course never happens. I have even had some support issues which have dragged on for years and I eventually just had to give up on them ever being resolved. If it wasn't for the rubbish support, I would be giving 5 starts.

After using this awesome extension for years, I am very disappointed that it just won't work with the primary account anymore, and it no longer works in Firefox at all. I contacted support and they were supremely unhelpful.

I was introduced to Active Inbox by a business partner at the end of 2015 and I quickly set up a gmail email to test the system. I am a zero inbox guy and handle external task management out of my email so this hit home for me the 1st week I signed up. Within 60 days of my free trial we switched the entire company to a gmail email platform and introduced Active Inbox to our entire staff. When I explain Active Inbox, I use the same phrase every time "Game Changer". This allows me to place safely all important items that are not going to be really important until a later date and then it is out of my mind until I need to make them a priority. For all of our managers this gives the opportunity to followup with their reports using a measured system of followup. As a small business owner I am not sure in this day and age of email how anyone can operate their email system efficiently & effectively without Active Inbox. Elegant and effective. Turns gmail into a great GTD system. I've used AIB for the past 3 years and couldn't imagine working without it.

Great GTD app. Need a way to filter by Folders AND Contexts AND Users rather than just Folders OR Contexts OR Users. Need multiple ways to drill down. PS the iOS app is a great companion. Keep up the good work

Do not install it. After installation it's didn't work the way it's suppose. More than that now even I removed it I still experiencing problems with gmail. I can't see content of some emails at all, which is never happens before.

I have used this extension for 2 years. Very helpful in clearing high volume email.

A great tool for keeping email under control. Inbox Zero!

Been using Active Inbox for a long time on Firefox. Now switching to Chrome.

SImple. Efficient. Elegant. The best Chrome GTD Add-ons ever made period.

Makes inbox lot more organized. The labels, reminders, senidng later functions are very handy. Little pricey though

ActiveInbox has revolutionised my work - seriously. As a fiftysomething manager with multiple contacts and projects (as well as all the other stuff), being able to structure and follow tasks within threads is invaluable. Nobody's attention can hold all the communication and related tasks we now benefit (suffer?) from, and my memory certainly isn't up to the task alone. AIB is right up there with the best, and very user friendly in terms of deciding how and when to use it. Having the mobile version means that I can sort my emails and plan my day in one go over my morning coffee, and keep things updated as I go - wonderful. It's not perfect (what is), but the developers seem to take user feedback very seriously, and I'm looking forward to an iPad version as soon as (please!) Thank you AIB team!

I have tried Todoist, Outlook, Google's apps and more, but Todoist beats them all because they elegantly keep my email and GTD in one and the same application. I highly recommend this product!

Life saver! A few kinks are still there, but overall this extension makes my work email so much more efficient. Especially if you're in an organization where you have to frequently chase up people :) Highly recommend it!

ActiveBox has been an invaluable tool in assisting me to process my inbox. I have been using GTD for 10 years and finding an email tool that allows you to effectively process email using GTD's approach is difficult. Been using active inbox for over a year and LOVE it. I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to organize their email. I didn't LOVE the mobile app, but only because I never found a way to track my emails the way I usually do but I'm sure I could've figured it out. Big fan of the program though!

Love it. I just renewed because AI has definitely helped me organize and prioritize my emails and keeps my inbox under control. It also helps me stay on top of important follow up activity. Great tool and highly recommend to anyone who needs to manage their email activity and increase efficiency.

Great productivity - use it in conjunction with other tools, rather as a complete replacement, but I'd be lost without it now in terms of preventing my inbox from overflowing.

Well, ActiveInbox won't actually make the time for you to attend to your projects. But it is the best project manager that I know for keeping your mailbox contents under control and for deciding when to work on (or ignore!) those pressing projects. Nothing needs to disappear forever before the email event horizon, since you control when you want to look at the email again. It's well worth the money!

ActiveInbox makes my work inbox manageable. Quick triage, long term and short term organization. I've just renewed after 1 year of using ActiveInbox on Chrome and iPhone. Well worth the subscription!!

I've been a ActiveInbox user for many years. I couldn't do my job well without it! This app makes sure that nothing falls through the cracks.

It's been a year since I first started using ActiveInbox. I use this app to organize my emails by projects, and until now, I am very satisfied. Yes, it has some drawbacks but you know that nothing is perfect. It is a decent app, and better, the developer keeps upgrading the interface, which means that it gets better and better as time goes by. Highly recommend if you have tons of emails to organize in your own ways, not just by projects.

I really tried to like this BUT MAN does it clutter up and get in the way! It's not a well designed solution and it's more of an eyesore.

I used to love using the previous version and have been relying on it for about two years. With the latest version I am running out of superlatives. It is so much better and looks amazing. It is an awesome extension at a crazy low price. Give it a spin in the free trial.

One of the best extensions for chrome. I encountered a few glitches initially. At one stage it has just vanished. Trying to figure out. If stable and successful it could be an ideal productivity tool for business.

By far the easiest way to keep my inbox zero

This works very well for what I do, and combines some important functions that others try to provide individually. I work in real estate and I handle a few transaction. A full CRM does not work for me. To help me with my work load I tried a few extension like a to do list and a response scheduler. Along with those tools I was manually archiving my emails into their corresponding folders. ActiveInbox helps me with all of this and MORE. ActiveInbox is the best tool and the best deal. Take a few minutes to work with it. At first I did not grasp the concept that you have to go to your Active inbox left side panel by clickling the link right below the compose button. ActiveInbox combines a few tools that you may feel be a little bit overwhelmed, but take a few minutes and try them out, and you will be glad that you did.

Well worth the money. Makes Gmail do-able for me!

Works GREAT on my personal and work Gmail.

I've been using this for the last 6 months and it is the cornerstone of my workflow. I highly recommend anyone interested in implementing GTD to consider this extension.

Just brilliant. Since moving from Outlook and their reminders, I missed not having reminders pop up. Plus with the task list you're more likely to complete things on time or know why something is held up without remembering everything all the time, as you make notes that are tagged to the email. This is even better now the company I work for has moved to Gmail. I'd even pay for the free things. Highly recommended.

This is very good when it works but unfortunately it has a habit of stopping working. I have been without it for two weeks now and as I rely on it this makes life very difficult so I have dumped it and started using Google Inbox which is not as good but at least works This is a fantastic Chrome Extension and I couldn't manage without it. If I could only keep one Extension this would be it. Friends often ask me to help sort out their email problems and when I look at they accounts I find many thousands of emails. No wonder they can't find anything. My inbox is always empty as I deal with all emails every day. I either delete them or set an ActiveInBox reminder and archive them. ActiveInBox then brings them forward when I need to deal with them. Running a business I find that I have to resend emails to prospective customers many times as frequently they fail to rely. So every time I send out an email I set a reminder in ActiveInBox which brings the email forward again after about a week. This works like magic and I am known to be always on the ball.

Finally!!! I've had it for 24 hours and I'm at inbox zero with the 36 emails I have to do something about sorted neatly. This is what I've always needed, and it's here. I bought it and am never looking back!! Thank you!!!

Great tool. A notification with time would be much better.

This is a great add-on to Gmail. It helps me stay organized and on top of my projects. It also helps me stay on top of other people who are supposed to be getting back to me on things.

I like the ease of use and use it frequently to stay on top of important issues. would be great to have some sort of mobile app as well

Me and our whole team are obsessed with this app! And obsessed is an understatement. I'm in the wedding industry where deadlines and details are crucial. I also hate ANYthing in my (real) inbox; my OCD nature says it all has to be filed. This app takes care of all that and more. I honestly don't know what I would do without it.

I preach about ActiveInbox to my coworkers and friends whenever I have the chance. It really makes email a powerful task management tool. Highly recommended.

ActiveInbox is awesome! I have been using it since beta and the developers have really created a top-notch product. Also, they are very quick to jump in and fix things when a Google update breaks things. I use it to clear my inbox daily (almost) and organize my many various projects, both personal and professional. GTD!

I like it because I can assign an email to look at later. I just wish I could assign a time to look at an email especially if it for an upcoming webinar or I want to quickly find an email for something I want to work on at the time that I have scheduled on my calender.

This extension makes managing your email, especially if you have multiple accounts and many communications that require your attention, easy. I've been able to use this to make managing all of the commitments in my life in such a way that I can find my way out of the crush. If I didn't have this in my email system, I'm not sure how I would get as much done as I do. Thank you, ActiveInbox!

Inbox to zero!!

Having used ToDoist, ToDoly and others, only ActiveInBox has stood the test of time and has helped make management of my inbox, my time, and my communications much easier. Highly Recommend!

Best GTD tool. ActiveInbox is my daily organizing tool. I love all the features, specially the calendar reminder, so I can forget about emails till they are needed. I'm using it already for three years and every new version keeps improving.

As a freelancer, Active Inbox has streamlined my email and enable me to organize multiple projects with clients into tasks and keep track of everything I need to do in a given day.

Really helpful app - I used free version for a few years and that was great - now upgraded to subscription for additional features and to keep the developers working . Just need Android app to go with it now!! Please!

So great to know what happens to those emails and to manage the to do's that come from them. Nice to have an interactive relationship with e-mail conversations.

I was a die-hard Outlook user for years, even with Gmail. When I finally started using the standard Gmail interface, I was quickly overwhelmed. Active Inbox is the app that has allowed me to not only regain control of my email, but helped me to use some of the inherent features of Gmail better (like archiving instead of deleting). A great app!

I just downloaded this app today and have spent the last hour familiarizing myself with it and seeing if it does everything I wanted it to. It does more! I love the Projects feature! I manage upwards of 15 projects at any given time and the design of the project tabs gives me the equivalent of my physical classification folder system on-line; with the added benefit of being able to immediately see where I still have tasks to complete!! This extension can replace my physical to-do list, my Project Management Software, Asana, Notes for Gmail, Boomerang, and still provide more functionality that I had before with all of them.

Great app that just keeps getting better. You can customize it to your needs so that it will work for any situation. Love it.

This app is just about perfect. It makes up for lots of the failings of gmail and then goes on to do other things, too. I love being able to tie email to projects, to dates, etc.

ActiveInbox has given me back full control of my email and I have happily moved from the trial to the paid version in the last few days.

The website used to say "most email is simply poorly formatted tasks" - and it could not be more correct! Furthermore, my tasks would often end up as emails one way or another. I have never been more productive than with Active Inbox. All my emails are now tracked. I was a hardcore microsoft outlook user. ActiveInbox has helped me make the transition to Gmail and I would never go back. Install it and you will not look back ever also.

ActiveInbox makes Gmail work for me. It is so much better than Outlook. My productivity as gone up dramatically with ActiveInbox.

Awesome productivity and ToDo manager if you live in Gmail. I'm able to categorize, schedule and prioritize tasks in as many ways as I need. Love the "Someday" and "Waiting On" statuses and really love the "Send Later" button. It makes it look like I'm working all night!

I can't imagine Gmail without it now. It rocks.

Helpful to organise a wild inbox

I have been using ActiveInbox for 2 years. I am extremely disorganized and most likely ADD. This has helped me tremendously in staying together at work. Couldn't live without it!

AIB is hands-down the best way to manage your inbox. It allows you to treat your inbox as...well..an actual IN box: sorting, deferring, actioning email, and treating it like it should be: as a task that needs resolving. The stress of coping with the overabundance of incoming email evaporates with the use of this tool.

I've been using this for nearly 2 years and am thrilled with it. The increases in productivity have been astounding.
