Verry Good

Works for latest chrome + youtube -- only worked after going back to the youtube homepage and clicking on the video again.

absolutely does not work!

Now working, Extension updated! Now no need of this! I know it's stopped showing in the new YouTube UI. But there is a quick fix for it.  Step 1: Download and install Tampermonkey. Step 2. Add the "YouTube-Proper Description" script to it. (Links attached at the bottom) What is this process and why is it?  As we all know, it stopped showing due to the new YouTube UI. With the help of this particular script, you can bring back the old description and title formats to the new YouTube UI. And as we all know, this extension was compatible with the old UI. The very best equalizer I've met so far. I give it the highest rating possible for the following reasons: 1. It has several already set equalizer and balanced sound settings. 2. It is easy to set the preferred sound settings with heavy bass which I guess, is what many people are looking for. 3. Its has user friendly interface with ease of access when playing. 4. It does take the shortest time (ms) to effect the changes you are making in your sound balancing? Drawback 1. It forgets your settings when you switch off your pc or when you get disconnected?? YOU DESERVE A 5?

When it does work it's an absolute charm, but now it disappeared due to YouTube's platform update

It's fantastic, for removing excess bass from podcasts and radio programs and improve music. I just stopped appearing in the new youtube UI (rounded corners thumbs), please update.

Somewhat buggy. When it works, it works well. Sometimes it takes several several reloads of the page before the equalizer symbol even appears and even then, sometimes changing to a different equalization has no effect.

Please update! I love having this extension, so simple and useful for someone who wants to get the most out of good speakers. Now I feel incomplete since youtube updated their interface and broke the plugin!

I love this app . I am using it on my Chromebook and your app enables me to do a great job fine tuning just enough base out to prevent my factory chromebook speakers from breaking up and when on high quality headphones/buds it really pulls out some great audio . Tried it out - works fine for me. Lots of different presets. As per the decsription of the extension - it doesn't have a fancy UI - just a simple drop down, which is fine for what it does.

I really like it. Really helps improve audio quality and music quality. It would be nice if they could add bass treble and mid sliders though.

N00bs complaining it doesn't work... Learn to use a PC haha... It works great for what it's supposed to do. (Audio engineer here)

I haven't done much more than tweaking between different sound presets, but this is an excellent extension, really easy to use and unobtrusive.

Short: Avoid - there must be better alternatives out there. If there aren't, still avoid extension. Long: It worked well at the beginnning which was awesome - it realy made a difference when listening to music or watching lectures with badly recorded audio. But after few days I noticed the videos would just not start to play and I would not be able to overcome this in any way. Than later the playback of videos was suddenly slowed down roughly by 20%. After some time I tried to turn of this extension and all these problems were gone! Plus one more thing - the weird tracking of my youtube activity is not ok. I will not install anything from you ever again, Zuck 2. But thanks for providing good example of bad software and it's related practices. Will do a good entry about free software and its pitfalls for my desing blog ;)
