Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't display the image alt text and title text.
Shows wrong dimentions for retina images when retina display is emulated in developer console.

Awesome extension! Saves a bunch of time and nerves when optimizing website images.Gives you original pixels and displayed pixels, and plus the file size.

great extension - thanks. I use it a lot. As a feature request idea, it'd be cool if it displayed the alt="" text for an image too.

Great app. Just what I needed while working with Google image searches because the image sizes are often misstated. Now I can go through image search results and easily identify the largest image and get an idea of the quality/depth of the color palette from the file size. This saves me a lot of time. The first time I used it, I had the problem where the window would not close. I refreshed the page, and after that, it worked fine.

The box that pops up with the image info won't close when clicking the close button. It just opens an "about:blank" page in a new tab. Will change to 5 stars if that mystery is solved. **UPDATE** extension was damaged somehow on my computer. An uninstall then reinstall fixed the issue. Upping to 5 stars as promised!

It does what it says. Deinstalled it, because there are to few Infos. Very helpful would be for example the "alt" Tag...

PLEASE, add the following features: 1) Show an image type (JPEG/PNG/GIF/WEBP) 2) Make the information window resizable 3) Exif information for JPEG's won't hurt either 4) Save to the disk button 5) Additionally show an image resolution as megapixels, i.e. 4000 x 3000 pixels (12MP) And thank you in advance.
Works as specified.. It'd be nice if it presented image information automatically (a right click - select is required).

Loved it! i agree with Irene N. on Oct 8, 2013 image type,.. that will be usefull & i hope this extension can support customized shortcut key to display info, exmp. (Alt + Click on Image)

Needs option to view image type.
What more could you need to know? I really liked the "image properties" option that IE has, and losing that when switching to Chrome was almost a deal-breaker for me. Thanks!
Exactly what I was looking for. Picked this one over similar extensions because it doesn't open an extra window. Can't believe Chrome doesn't have this feature built in.
Image type missing
Ya, Its nice, but info box is little bigger. But I don't understand why some basic things are missing from chrome browsers and available just as separate extensions. Good job.
