I created a QR code using the Chrome extension for my son's Amazon birthday list and sent to everyone. Now it is saying expired and I can not figure out how to fix it! This is terrible!
does not allow to create a qr for a hovered link
I've been using this app for ages and like others, find it really useful. It's great for those sites that have insanely long web addresses, or if you want to quickly grab it when you're rushing out of the house but still want to read. It doesn't require any permissions, it isn't constantly using memory as it only loads when you use it - then unloads straight away, is quick and instant, and even loaded has the smallest memory footprint of all my extensions.
You have no idea how much this helps consider google has removed the direct access to QR code in the latest browser update Also it works way better than the actual chrome QR code because the QR code is way bigger on this extension

Though this hasn't been updated in a while, I use it just about every day and love it, it still works perfectly. Thanks for creating a very solid piece of software. If I could have anything changed about it, it'd be nice to have a light-colored icon to be visible on the bar in dark themes, but I use this anyway because it's no-muss, no-fuss, and lightweight.
Such an useful extension
I really use this WR reader more than anything now. It provides an opportunity to create a shortened link for a simpler QR code withput having to go to another link. It's so practical. Thank you!

when i want to scan a code it use the front IR camera and cannot be changed
Easy to use and love it. One feature that I'd like to see is for the QR code to link to the current time code on YouTube.
I really liked it but I want a way to scan a code on anouther site without printing it.

The Only thing you need to add is a way for me to copy the QR code to clipboard, so I can paste it into word documents for my classroom to use.

It says to give access to webcam when I don't and I gave it every single permissions. Very greedy extension.

Works great and doesn't ask for suspicious permissions like some of the others! Does its job well.
My school uses it and it is very useful for school projects and etc. If you want to get up with latest technology there are of course more futuristic things than Qr codes, but 2 years ago this was the future in my class.

This extension works great. Please consider making it free and open source, so it can benefit more people and users can have greater control over their software.
It makes QR codes successfully, but it is not as easy as QuickMark to create and copy the QR code for use in other files.
Doesn't work well with black chrome theme. We need alternative icon color other than black:(

Thanks for creating this extension! One thing that would be SUPER helpful for me (and the teachers at my school, who use QR Codes to share URLs with students) would be the ability to save the image. Either by right-clicking and choosing to save or by having a dedicated button. Is that a possibility for a future release? Or is the source code available that I could add it?

Quick and Simple. I only need to click the QRCODE icon on the right of my navigation bar, and the current website's URL is shown in QR Code, ready to scan it on my phone to share the current page with my friends.
