when connected it turned off on chrome after few moment please fix this bug

Confusing and no way to change server,.. If there is a way, I cannot find it. I use extension in Chrome on Chromebook.

I just bought TunnelBear for 1 year and like it so far. This review would be 5 stars if there was a feature to auto-connect in the chrome extension. This is a very basic feature that almost every VPN out there has. Kinda disappointed and regret a little bit that I purchased and didnt try enough beforehand, because I would have gone with a competitor had I known you can't auto connect your browsers in the extension.

can now access sites that fascist ISPs in collusion with governments have blocked.

recently it automatically turned off after few second !!!

Worked fine with Opera for months, but since a few days it no longer loads.

Well, VPNs sites including this one are blocked in EG so I can't use it without signup and to signup I need vpn. You see the problem... why require signup?

In places like Iran where tunnelbear.com is filtered, this extension does not work because it does not enter the user account.

Like the Bear and its marketing, and it should be easy to turn VPN on and off by clicking the extension button, but have to review the user experience. For some reason, I have to login to the service each day or so, on a first connection attempt. Seems like cookies / session length / something else is not working as the user (me) would expect. Please suggest to troubleshoot. Thank you, rawr!

I just installed it, because the Windows app download , won't install for some reason, but the extension doesn't work for Canada, city tv keeps telling me that I am not in Canada.

My biggest gripe with TunnelBear is that it doesn't work half the time even though it looks to have no problem connecting

This extension does not allow you to select different cities in the U.S., you can only pick USA and that's it. I need a different time zone and it won't let me switch. I'm going to have to cancel my account and buy a different one.

Lately Tunnelbear has become useless bear. It won't connect to any vpn nor it show any country to connect.

"Get around blocked websites" but not the ones you are trying to get onto. I paid for this stupid VPN and can't access any websites I need to. The response I got was that Tunnelbear wasn't meant for unblocking websites, only disguising your IP. I wasted my money. Also makes the internet run EXTREMELY slow.

sorry for the 1 star, but the reason im using vpns are because my district blocks a lot of websites. unfortudently, as your extention brings me to a blocked site, i cannot use it. i shall continue my search for a good vpn i can use

Works great on my Acer Chromebook and Android Phone. No dropped connection like other VPNs I tried. Recommend it. UPDATE 2-7-2022 Recently started getting "ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR" on some sites (MakeUseOf.com) using my Chromebook. Error only goes away when I turn TunnelBear off. Any other suggestions?

Finally I can turn off VPN on my pc and just have it working on browser. Thank god they have this extension (Just bring it on Edge too and also make it so whenever the browser start VPN connects it-self to recent location used).

Useless. The app says I'm connecting to Argentina but Microsoft's website could see my real location. Had to use a real VPN to redeem codes

Well all I can say is it is best in class and does what it claims. Used hola vpn until it was removed from google web store. After research I'm staying with TunnelBear VPN it does it all too and I'm in control again.

The tunneling to proxy server doesn't seem to work, because i am obviously connected to Country IP and local public IP port. I would expect these IPs to be diverted, and hidden in the "secured" VPN to the external port (wherever it is in USA). HOWEVER, locally my browser and connections can still detect the local IP. even when i clear browser cache, the true IP is still detectable. This VPN is fake.

It doesnt work for me at all. When I try to go to a website it says "proxy server invalid ceritifcate" or something. I really wish this could work :( Its so cute which is why im giving it 3 stars

I used to really like this vpn but now it's pointless. It quite literally only gives me my own location in the entirety of the US. I can't move around to any other state or city. And once I leave the US, I can't open any websites. This is garbage.

I think that this is a account capture attempt by any hacker or so , as chrome said that there is a data breach when i was logging in this extension steals accounts and passwords !!!

I used to really love this VPN but for some reason I can no longer choose where I want to tunnel. If I choose a country, it places me where it wants and I'm stuck there. if I choose the US, it no longer gives me the option to change states. It places me in my own town and that's no good. Have to remove it. It would be nice if the developers fixed this issue.

The vpn doesn't work and causes websites to not load.

it does not even start .. when i hit the icon after i added the extinsion it opens a tab saying "This website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks."

This VPN is probably the best you can find FREE! I realy like the interface, and the variation of countries.

The extension works well enough, but it has a couple of small & simple flaws that mean it gets in my way more than it should. In particular: - It logs me out too quickly. I am the only one using my computer, so it's annoying to have to log into TunnelBear almost every time that I want to use it. Plus I can't really see a security reason for logging me out anyway - so what if someone using my computer (that isn't me) is able to take advantage of my tunnelbear account? - When I am not logged in the page that I am taken to is the create account page rather than the login page. This means that there is an extra click in order to log in, and for some reason my password manager then doesn't populate the username/email field, so the whole thing takes longer than it should. - About 50% of the time, after logging in, when I click on the tunnelbear extension, I am taken to my account page, instead of being given the popup with the option to enable the VPN or switch destination. Usually this is fine the second or third time that I click, but again this gets in the way of what should be a smooth process.

Very easy to use and it always do the job for me. What I'd like is you could set a Megabyte consumption alert or something just in case you forget disconnect and start spending MBs and MBs without knowing... That way I'd give 5 stars to it without any doubt! Thanks anyway.
