Most of time video recording not upload successfully even it's just a 2 minutes video. I recorded same video several time but no luck most of time. Now i feel fear to record anything with droplr because i have do same thing again.

I'm using the desktop version of Droplr for a couple of years now. It's not perfect, but they keep working and improving it. As an animation company this is our favourite tool to quickly share animation previews with our clients. We can keep track if the preview has already been viewed or not and we can share it in a text message or view it on the phone app as well. So a great and simple way to share movies and documents with a simple link. Just drag the file on the Droplr Icon and the upload starts right away.

I clicked add to chrome, only to see 2 seconds later, some rather strange permissions, and right away knew I would have to be paying for this extension, I hate when extension creators do this, I ask of you to make it free before I change my review.

RUBBISH. THE CREATORS OF THIS EXTENSION DID A TERRIBLE JOB. IT DESERVES ZERO STARS, AND I AM BEING GENEROUS

This latest update is terrible! After markup it has all kinds of strange behaviors, from adding white space to 3/4s of the image to some kind of blur effect on resave after markup. And the new pixelate function for obscuring personal info is just UGLY. The pixelate being used before last week was much more dignified, less distracting

When it works, it is great. However it has a high 'failure rate" I often remove/reload app to get it to work, and then it decides whether or not to function. Once again, the solution seems to be remove Hosted Data from Chrome. Again 2 stars

I have been using Droplr for several years now and find it invaluable for all kinds of situations where i need to quickly share files with people that i cant text or are too bit to send as email attachments. Worth every penny. Also, their technical support is quick and very helpful. (Shout out to Sanchit)

I absolutely love using Droplr! Sanchit is my go to guy for helping me get folks setup with that account. He is seriously the best!

A very handy tool that works wonderfully. Support (I've worked with Sanchit a number of times) is super prompt and responsive!

Fantastic app, I'm a lifetime subscriber. Just had a problem for the first time ever (I've been using for years) and Sanchit walked me through it and had me back up and running in no time!

I lover droplr! It has improved so much over the last couple of years. As a hard of hearing person, my primary mode of communication is American Sign Language (ASL). With droplr, I can easily screencast and use ASL to provide all types of training while simultaneously displaying what I am doing. I also like that it saves all of the files and I can delete them if I prefer. It is user friendly and can be accessible using chrome extension or a desktop. Chrome extension all the way for me! :)

This is tagged as a free Chrome extension and it only has a three day free trial, after that it looks like it's $10 per month. I hope you update your tags, because your product isn't free.

Great tool. Cost effective. Easy to use for fast communications and you need the impact of a video. Wonderful for quick communications. Good to see such a amazing support, better than Cloudapp and loom. It's been a couple of years I am using Droplr and from the last couple of months, their support has been tremendous and improved. captures everything but i cannot get any of my cameras authorized on my chrome extension because no prompt appears to capture my approval.

wish it would cast the selected area of the window.

The plugin doesn't know when I'm logged in so doesn't actually save screenshots anywhere. Super disappointed. Running on Windows 10.

It's a pro extension. Only one view allowed for first time then it will block your view until you pay. Bye bye

Cannot work without it

Droplr is quick to access, easy start and right there on my browser. That all really helps when I see something online that could disappear at any minute. I can simply Droplr it!

I use Droplr daily for sharing GIFs and screenshots with others. Thanks for creating it!

**UPDATE** 2/4/2020 Droplr has reached out to me after seeing this review. I felt that this person (who was clearly someone who had the authority to do something about it) listened to my concerns. I am not updating the stars yet, but I will have another look in here after a few months. I do consider them reaching out to me on a high level to be a good sign of hope for the future of Droplr. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My current review as of 1/27/2020 Based on consistent unresolved bugginess over a very long period of time, and based on consistently very bad support I am changing my review to one star. I have consistently had to communicate to them about things that are not working and they have consistently been very unhelpful and basically incompetent. Their ticketing system, if they have one, is disorganized. Very disorganized. For example, if you click on their support robot and post a problem, you will get a response that they will get back to you in 24 hours. Then when you go back in, you will find "because we did not hear back from you this ticket is closed." There is no way to reopen. You will not be emailed when they respond to your support request. (At least I am not usually emailed). After many months of back and forth, they are now telling me that I don't have access to "premium" support. They are asking me to pay to upgrade to the plan that I already have. And I am not really asking for "premium support" in my requests. I am REPORTING BUGS. I wish I could say these are just things that could be resolved. But every sign I have seen is that they are not serious about supporting their extension or their service. My original review from June 28, 2019 - "This app has great features and is inexpensive. But it is buggy." - 3 stars.

I've been using the pro version for years (I bought a lifetime license a while back). It is literally a tool I couldn't work without - I run a distributed team and Droplr plays a massive part in the communicating I do to my other team members.

When creating an account by clicking "Try for free", they immediately ask for payment info saying they are to charge you. wat? Then after a screenshot and some annotations, I click save and even though the extension is authenticated, it offers to share a link OR sign up. wat wat? That's it for me.

We are lifetime subscribers to Droplr. This extension allows us to back up web pages as images for archiving and allows our readers to access them if they've been taken from their original source. I have been a Droplr user from its start in 2012. It is the one app that I use consistently throughout my day for both personal and business needs. I love the custom domain and branding options and that they are always adding new features. Droplr truly changed my entire workflow many years ago and continues to never let me down!

I started using Drop.lr a few years ago, and continue to use the product everyday. I asked all member of my team to sign up for the app too. It really makes sharing files and screen shots quick and easy. Love the quick keys, I use: Option, 2 = Screen shot with annotate Option, 3 = Screen shot Option, 4 = Screen video very much worth paying for.

This app, by far, is the most useful app I own. Working in the digital industry, the quick upload and sharing makes it incredibly easy to send/share files, images, mock ups and code blocks. Because they didn't bloat the app, the speed at which I can do this is incredibly valuable. Huge time saver. Great job Droplr Team.

Have been using Droplr daily for years. Reliable and easy to use. Makes archiving of development file versions a breeze and is feature rich.

I've been a Droplr customer for many years and to be honest I cannot imagine a day without it. If you work in Web and collaborate with clients, designers or developers, the speed at which you can give feedback is blazing fast. Previously the process of creating notes, marking up screenshots would take up a lot of time and it was painful. Out of all the screen capture tools - of which i've tried nearly all - Droplr takes the crown without a doubt. The team are extremely helpful so if you need assistance they're always at hand. The best bit of money you'll spend for sure :)

Great extension! I use it to provide proofs and high resolution download files to my customers. It's perfect!!!

Overall, Droplr is a great service, and I rely on it heavily. I was just informed that I am among the top 5% of Droplr users. There is some roughness around the edges, however: 1) the iPad Pro app is hard to use and clearly jury-rigged; 2) I have to log in more often than I care to in all mobile apps and even in the desktop software and Chrome extension. Other than that, it's super useful for the kind of work I do.

I really enjoy using Droplr over the last month. I've used it extensively to take screenshots and shorten links. Only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that sometimes, taking screenshots or videos break. I've had to uninstall and reinstall a few times on various devices to get it working again. It would stop once in a while but then I can work around it. Overall, beautiful product and highly recommend!

Just works, best app ever!

I love the Droplr, but too bad they are moving very slowly. There is no roadmap, some feature even disappear, fixes take 6-12 months, etc. :(

When I do screenshot without annotation (drawing) everything is nice and sharp, but when I do a screenshot and draw something then everything goes blurry :( Windows 10 Chrome 76 Droplr Extension 3.7.1

To be honest, I had been using loom for quite some time. When I see Droplr I wanted to purchase it and paid $130+ on a offer. But tell you what, Its nothing like loom but requires lot of fixes. I regrate with purchase and I am using free loom which is a lot better. CONS: Their's too much buffering from their server. Audio gets out of sync for high resolution video like 2k / 4k. There's no resolution selection for video capture or optimization at final copy in server. Not possible to protect a board to specific team and upload. Unlike loom droplr does not send you updates in 2 / 3 months. When loom send at least twice in a month. Slow paid support. A good feature would be capture webcam with blur which is great feature in skype. * I will change my review if they decide to fix these issues in near future.

Want to love this but the Chrome app saves all videos in a format that is not view-able on mobile devices. Everyone is mobile so its crazy that it works like that. The Windows App is decent but its missing a feature where you can record a screen and also add your webcam to it like you can on the Chrome App. The Windows App also saves videos as a format not visible on mobile devices but it atleast gives you the option in preferences to switch to MP4 format which is viewable on phones.

I bought this because it seemed like a good replacement for Skitch. Took it for a test drive today and sadly it seems to be no good at all. When I tried to capture a selected area, it blanked out the content on the page. When I downloaded a whole page and attempted to draw, it repeatedly came up with "Could not find that Drop". Great idea. And there's a need for it. And it would be awesome, if it worked. Will happily re-review if things improve. But currently feel I wasted my money.

When it works, it's fantastic! I love the concept and the ease of use - but it's glitchy. It doesn't always work and I've reached out to Support for assistance to see what the issue is with no response.

Pretty poor. Seems to have allot of bugs with regards to screen recording, I just can't get it to work properly. Every time the page reloads the recording stops and nothing is saved...

Was getting so frustrated with other tools like "Screencastify" or "Lightshot" which was my favorite because none of them had both "full screen screenshot" and "automatic upload" which is exactly what I need everyday to share with my clients. Was almost ready to start building a chrome extension but then I did a bit more digging and found this! Works perfectly! Exactly what I need. Too bad is not in top results for "screenshot extension" or "screenshot full page upload" <- the keywords that i've used to find what I need. Hope my comment helps you understand your users better. UI is lovely extension is so clear and easy to use good options But there is a problem here: I want to take a screenshot and annotate without uploading (like the other screenshot takers ex.Nimbus and..) but I have to enable upload and and then annotate.

Love it. I have been using droplr for about 6 months and really do like the way it performs. I makes it much easier to make screenshots and particularly isolate smaller parts of the screen. Sonny

Over the years, I keep trying this app, and I keep going back to something else. It's really nice looking these days with the purple and white, and the interface seems intuitive, but something about it just keeps feeling clunky. Everything I do with this seems to take longer than the others on the market. Something feels sluggish for me with this app, or the flow just feels off. One thing missing that I don't see with annotations is the ability to re-size text after you type it. This one is a bit annoying. Undo seems to be broken as it just stacks the history levels instead of removing them. Text looks better in this app than others, but there is no way to remove the drop shadow or thick outline. I really want to love this app, but I find that it does nothing different than it's competitors.

Worked really great. The latest version is not working and I need it to. More specifically the entire page isn't working.

Droplr is a great application, but its Chrome extension woefully leaves a lot to be desired. When it works, it works effectively. Sadly, though, it's frustratingly bug-ridden. At time of writing, it refuses to let you stop and save your recording, instead perpetually recording until you're forced to deactivate or remove it. Please, developers, stabilise it.

Love this extension, allows me to easily capture and share anything I am looking at on the web. Screen recordings are super useful as well for entire screen recording and showing bugs. Use this extension everyday!

This is an excellent app, get pro, you cannot go wrong. We have increased our workflow in many integrations that Droplr works with and customer service is quick. We have been using Droplr for over a year. We highly recommend it. ?

I have a paid account with them. It was great when it worked. Problem is that more and more of the time it does not work.

it would help if you put the product/company name in the Extension name. this . is extension keeps on getting lost in my chrome.

Insisted I register before allowing screen recording but then, after I'd registered and logged-in, it still kept saying I need to login. This would appear to be a trial version only, not the full application.

It did not let me register, and so i could not successfully record with it. All it gave me was a blank screen.

Love having Droplr at my fingertips. It streamlines so much of my visual media business. The ability to quickly and easily send and notate files and screenshots really makes business easier.

I've been trying to get my Droplr to capture a long webpage, which requires scrolling down in order to read the contents. The guys at Droplr, sent me instructions on how to capture this. But it became clear that for some reason the Chrome extension actually doesn't work.

Opened the link in new tab and it worked. " server error for days can't log in to droplr can't use the plugin. "

Stop what you're doing and learn about Droplr. Put all of your other apps to bed ... Slack, MixMax, screen capture, video are all integrated.
