Up to this point, I would definitely have given Teleparty 5 stars. It is such a game changer & allows me to host watch parties with friends or watch movies in my long distance relationship with ease. I was so excited when they added Crunchyroll to the list of sites, and the price was worth it. However, it does not work how it used to. The links don't work at all or sometimes don't work for just one person in the party. Before offering a premium option with Crunchyroll, the bugs should have been ironed out better. Would love to see some updates and bug fixes soon.

It always ends up kicking the other person out after a few mins. It used to work perfect

The ads on HULU are completely messed up, they replay sometimes 4or 5 times even when we exit the party and rejoin, it never happens when we are not in teleparty. Other than that I love the app.

I would have given this extension 5 stars, but then teleparty, like all of the other apps and websites, had to follow the greedy path and make it have a subscription, or see adds on the side of your screen. Was a great extension before that.

Teleparty is amazing! I have only used it for Netflix, but it works great. Super thankful for this extension, as I don't really get out much and this lets me watch shows with my friends.

I used to love teleparty. My sister and I use it to watch things together ever since I moved out of state. Now every time we try to watch something together, the content we watch pauses and unpauses on its own and I can't seem to find any other way to contact teleparty about this because their support chat doesn't work. I just keep getting errors. I'd love for my sister to be able to watch things together again but using teleparty has been such a hassle

I've used Teleparty A LOT and I love it. Despite occasional glitches, it has yet to fail me, and I've gotten to enjoy so many movies and series with friends from around the world. Can't recommend enough.

This extension got my friends and I through quarantine as we were able to watch movies and tv shows together as if we weren't all stuck in our houses. Even now, three years after the initial pandemic, we use this platform to binge new shows together. This software is easy to use and even without premium, you have access to so many different platforms. I def recommend.

Best add on for chrome!

It is fantastic with Netflix, seldom have an issue using teleparty, (usually from my end when there is an issue). Use it with Disney+ as well, though would love to not have to start the video of choice to be able to share a movie/show/episode with a friend. Hope this will eventually change and make it a far smoother transition.

Use it all the time without issue on Netflix, although Youtube tends to be a bit glitchy, but couldn't ask for more from an amazing free service

The extension itself is really good, works great. But what has made me love this extension is the customer support they provide. I had a problem with my premium subscription and got charged the wrong amount. I messaged them and they managed to solve my problem in 24 hours without any other issues. Truly some of the best customer support I have ever experienced, I was helped by Mattheu, he was extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you so much Teleparty. 10/10

Brilliant extension!

I've been using it to watch shows on Netflix with my long distance partner, and it works really great! I've had absolutely no problems, and the reactions and everything really tie it together. It's nice to be able to watch things together even when we're apart :)

I got the free trial of premium and for some reason whenever I start a party it won't let me pause or play the show on Crunchyroll. Not sure why this is happening but it's only been happening here which is super frustrating since I got the premium trial to use it with Crunchyroll. Other than that it works great on other sites.

A few thoughts. I really love watching things with my family who do not live in my city. However, there are many bugs in the extension. One particularly annoying one is when you hit the space bar sometimes it pauses the media, rendering the chat useless. Even if you restart the teleparty with a new link it sometimes doesn't help. Second bug my group and I have seen is when a new episode starts, it starts the chat at the very beginning and auto-scrolls to the bottom. Every. Time. I am not using the paid version, as the free version is what our family needs. However, I still think they should fix these issues. If they fix that I would probably give them a 5 star.

This is a great extension! Started using it in the pandemic to connect with friends and still use it today. Works well, no bugs or glitches.

Only tried with Netflix so far. But it's a pretty neat and innovative browser extension. One thing i would like to be developed out and added in future, is the ability to have built-in VoIP audio, and without the video playback audio being transmitted along and across VoIP audio ?? It would then feel like we're really watching it together with real-time verbal reactions that we all can instantly listen to and participate / react with, without having to focus on typing away on keyboard with typos and corrections, and along with missing out on listening to key dialogue / subtitles when focused on the chat sidebar (monitoring / typing), which is a massive distraction at times ? It would be a real game changer by replicating actual real-life verbal reactions and participation where we all have physical togetherness feeling, with different emotions and tones for expressing ourselves which can be distinctly heard over VoIP and resonate with, making us all even more involved with joy, intensity, sadness, etc. It just comes across different than when monitoring / typing in chat sidebar as the eyes and focus are diverted away from what we're watching.. I (and i am sure many others) would pay a premium for a VoIP audio feature ??

Love this extension! I can watch netflix together with my boyfriend whenever we're not together. we both can have controls to play or pause so thats helpful when we dont want to talk over the show.

This honestly used to be a wonderful extension but as of late, since they've introduced premium features, parties are not as stable as before, and it pauses if I am typing in the chat box and press spacebar. Additionally, during the climax of a movie, the party disconnected me "due to inactivity." Why does the option exist to collapse the chat bar if not using it for the duration of a movie will kick me out? I really used to enjoy using this extension but as of late it is unreliable.

Amazing helps me watch movies with my children in Another country. and it is free for Netflix and Amazon Prime paid version is for additional services ( crunchy roll, Disney etc..)

The absolute best watch party chrome extension! Wish it was available for Firefox as well, but still a great experience (I have used it with Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime). I hope to see them expand to more streaming services, namely Apple TV Plus, Peacock, and Vudu but it's still a great and robust service overall at the moment.

It never works for me on Amazon Prime for some reason but its an absolute 10/10 everywhere else. Plus we rarely use AP so it doesn't really matter. This is the best long distance extension!

It works AMAZING for Netflix. Use it if you need to do a virtual watch party for Netflix. However, it DOES NOT WORK for Hulu. Our screens are not synced (if I pause it as host, it does not pause for the other viewers, we all open up to a different part in the show, etc.). Please don't include Hulu as a part of the Teleparty if it doesn't work.

I adore this extension. Absolute best way to watch something together with anyone, hands down, and I've tried a loooot of ways. We've had sooome bugs here and there, once in a while, but those usually get fixed quickly, the team is responsive and really nice. I'm slightly bothered that there are now ads at the top of the chat but I completely understand that they've got to do that to put food on the table so really it's fine. If I had a salary I would pay for premium. 100% recommended!

Since COVID, I have used Teleparty every week to watch shows and movies with friends around the country and even family in Germany! It has glitches, but overall, is easy to use and facilitates a social experience!

honestly amazing

Been using the service for years, love the clean and sleek UI - but suddenly it introduced unskippable and intrusive ads (or "announcements" as they call it). Might as well use your preferred messaging app and skip this whole fuss, since you only need to sync the shows.

I have used Teleparty for a wile now but Today when i tryed to EVERYTHING but youtube was premium. I dont know if this is a glich but i am upset.

forces subscription to ACTUALLY use the netflix party of "netflix" party. also... when i installed it, something tried to install itself on my pc.

Forcing me to go premium?! Can't use it because it now tells me I need to upgrade to premium to be able to host. Disappointing. Not using it any more

This is not working with disney plus even if it says so in the description. Disney+ has groupwatch however it is not avail in the philippines. I was hoping this would work, but cannot create parties for disney+ using this extension

I can't use this extension to watch Netflix because its forcing me to upgrade to Premium. This needs to be fixed, else it false information since I should be able to watch netflix without subscribing.

Best way to hang out with friends when we can't get together. Never lags, so many streaming options now (I've been using since it was Netflix Party), and easy to use. Totally recommend!

Does not appear to work on iOS or Android. No email confirmation for paid version of extension. No instructions on how to cancel. Support is wafer-thin: "Expect a reply within 24 hrs".

Active team solving issues promptly and making the app better, which makes the app so good! a bug i find right now is that the message "Could not load emoji." appears when clicking the emoji menu, on windows 10 with brave browser but hopefuly it gets solved soon!

Using it daily, has some bugs but tab restart works and its priceless to use for me.

The only thing missing from this extension is the option to have a small window that supports video calling for a party of 2 people above the chat bar so that it feels more personal. Other than that this works great

Great addition. There is no point in complaining. Something like this never existed so the fact that it works on any platform is amazing. Keep up the good work. Eventually it would be cool if teleparty can take over and work across all streaming platforms.

I love teleparty.! This extension i literally my lively hood I'm allowed to watch different movies and tv shows while straming and being able to chat with my friends.

I think this extension is great for Netflix and Disney Plus. But whenever I try to use it with Hulu or anything with ads, it gets a bit glitchy.
