Started using this plug in and it seemed to be working at first but then nothing. Can't capture anything on Bitchute, Rumble or Odysee (Odysee has its own built in down loader but not all the videos that I look for get posted there.) I re-installed the plug in restarted the browser got an update to the browser so I re installed the plug in again. This thing just doesn.t work. If you don' mind using Firefox, they have a free plug in that does work. I don't understand why you and many other so called software companies have to release these programs with all the bugs without first testing them. By the way, the Firefox plug in that I mentioned is called Video Download Helper. I have to move back to Firefox and ditch Chromium now because otherwise, there is no point in using Chrome/Chromium.

Uses massive CPU time and bogs down an i7 12700k. Doesn't work at all on any site I tried.

This extension almost completely freezes my browser, and when the browser starts responding, it still cant reload pages. Soon as I disable the extension, browser functions normally again. Uninstalling.

can only download one file at a time (or maybe only one tab at a time?) I just wanted a way to download several mp3 open in tabs files quickly, and it couldnt even do that lol

i dont see why i need to send a ticket in to download audio from a video when i could just rip it myself, the service feels inherently useless if i cant use it for specific content

How to Promp a Download when it is already downloaded

This extension has been amazing for years, absolutely no issue whatsoever. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and you must now pay to download certain videos, it seems. I try to download some videos and it is required to pay 22-99 dollars. Ridiculous

Requires signup into not so reliable website.

It would be super helpful if there were a support page that walks you through how to download videos on social. I purchased this extension today and cant seem to figure out how the process works.

Highly recommended - probably the only download manager that combines a downloads router as well! Edit (18/9/2021): Unnecessary warning when downloading exe files and when I click on "keep", it force closes entire browser - Vivaldi 4.2.2406.44. On restarting download continues to completion. Same problem with previous versions of Vivaldi as well. Is otherwise perfect. If this is fixed, I'll consider buying a lifetime subscription.

No way to see what it can do in trial mode without giving them your identity and binding yourself to t&c.

I love this ext. been using it for years. I will retract 4 to give 5 stars if & when my error is solved/fixed. Just within the last few months, pardon my inability to account for correct dates/times. I don't download millions of items but I do download items like documents & files regularly. I always have developer options enabled - out of the blue I started receiving this error when I try to download pretty much anything: "This extension failed to name the download "com.magan.toolkit-7.0.3.apk" because another extension (Malwarebytes Browser Guard) determined a different filename."

It doesn't work with VK music. The song is playing, I'm clicking on the download button and nothing happens.

How is this rated so high ? it requires you to register and login to their site to be able to "send a request" to find a video to download, i tried it on soundcloud and it seemed to find 4 things, but the first one was only 30 seconds long even though the song playing was 3 minutes long and the other 3 were covered by a 'Subscription needed' image, also the images it finds are no better or different than just hitting Ctrl+S (save page as). It's completely useless unless you register and even then who knows if it's any better.

This manager has saved my life!! Have been trying to get rid of Google Drive for over a month now but every time I download from them or even try to use Takeout approximately 70% of them are corrupted (in one case 342 2GB zips were ALL corrupted). Don't even get me started on Sync... I used to work with Flashget and thought I would never find an app that worked half as well - this is better...like, far better than I ever dreamed. It's easy to use, works incredibly well, makes me so happy and has finally allowed me to leave my computer while trying to get all my stuff off Drive. I spent almost a month solid playing online jigsaw puzzles while babysitting downloads - pretty sure that's how the movie Saw got it's main character...too much downloading from Google Drive can probably turn you into a sadistic psychopath. Only problem I have had is that it won't let me buy the Ultra subscription. while my free subscription is active. I can buy the lifetime subscription, but not the Ultra. I only have 17 hours left, so I'm sure it will work once it's done. Kind of odd that it doesn't want my money before the free trial is over, but hey, I'm buying it the minute I can!!

This extension is of no use. I was downloading Adobe Lightroom (Size 1.1 GB). When 800 MB of file was downloaded I switched the Wi-Fi network as my mobile data was exhausted, so I connected Wi-Fi from my other mobile phone but the download did not not resumed instead it showed "Failed - Forbidden" and when I clicked on retry it started the download from the beginning. This extension did not help in continuing the download from the point where it was paused.

YES! At last a Chrome extension that can download a Facebook video from a Private group I'm in. GetVid and FBDown couldnt do it. THANK YOU ODM!!

It slows down your browser.

Chrome seems to keep blocking downloads. When I download a load of zip files for example I still have to go into chrome download manager and click 'unblock' on every one. Not sure if there is a way around this but according to Chrome this is now a mandatory feature that you cannot turn off.

Instructions unclear - either the image downloader doesn't work as described in the instructions (what popup?) or this is one of the paid features.

I love this extension, it's fast, simple, and for the most part free. One small request I have is URL-Based sorting if that's not a part of the paid version.

I really like this download manager! It is easy to see, use and has lots of functions! I really recommend this extension. To developer. I would love to be able to open the file not from dedicated "File Open" button but from file name.

I used to use Chrono downloader but since that was no longer available I installed this as an alternative. I like the notification preferences but I can't easily view my active downloads. Perhaps its a glitch on my extension but when I click the button I can't see the queue.

ALRIGHT, this has slapped that 5 stars finally after a few months, I had difficulties with the 'Use Default Download Bar' but now it's fully fixed, I do love the new look it's been given and the expansion of settings (I haven't seen all new things yet). Some great things is the easy right click and downloads with external image links which hit that sweet spot for a perfect extension, highly recommend to anyone wanting to download images in any circumstance.

Used to be good - now its gone "premium". They have now paywalled some of the core features that would make this extension even worth installing in the first place. Therefor, its no longer worth looking at. Also - they are committing consumer fraud by advertising features without mentioning and clearly stating that you must PAY to use those features. Probably some dev team from an uncivilized country who dont understand ethics morals etc (or rule of law).....this is very typical....

All the features of the Pro version are 100% worth it. Amazing extension to the chrome browser

Didn't get to test the software out before getting hit with the "Downloading will become available with 'PRO' subscription". Don't know what I expected; if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Thanks for wasting my time.

Seems pretty much useless. I install it, go to a site (doesn't matter which one, I tried several), and NOWHERE does it give me the option to download with this extension. No drop down, no right click option, nothing in the Chrome toolbar. If this is supposed to work so great, I don't know how people got it to work.

Definitely works for the purpose I downloaded it for. I understand that I don't have access to some features due to only staying with the base subscription. The only thing that is a mild annoyance other than that is that the files downloaded files are named a seemingly random string of letters and numbers. Makes it a bit harder to organize things

I was just looking for something to download images in bulk. I could not for the life of me figure out how to do that with this thing. It did ask me to pay for a "subscription", though, which is a thing where a developer writes software once, sells it to you once, it runs on your own computer at no further expense to them, but they want you to keep paying for it, over and over and over again, forever. Removed immediately. I wish people would just write decent extensions that extend the browser's functionality, instead of these huge, complicated attempts to get rich.

Fairly unremarkable. Many free PC tools will do a better job and at no cost. I think what you are paying for is the convenience of the extension right there, the price for pro isn't huge so that's fine. Not for me, but not terrible.

Please make the option to show a notification of completed downloads no matter what size they are. This might sound weird but the minimum of 10KB for a notification is too small for most of the files I need for work. The notification really helped since it provided a big button to 'Show in Folder' so I could quickly access it Update: Back to perfection. Looks like the devs definitely took everyone's feedback to heart & now all my previous gripes are fixed. Thank you devs! 5 stars definitely earned

I really hate how every website and every thing requires you to make an account for everything these days. I shouldn't need to make an account just to use a plugin. And I definitely don't need to buy a subscription just to download a few videos. Remove the account requirement.

Everything is awesome.I rate it 9.9/10 One thing: if the video tab can download youtube video, then it's 10/10.

All I want is a simple manager that will do one thing, allow me to add potentially hundreds of direct download links into que and then have it download them one at a time. But there's not even an option for the number of simultaneous downloads.

Very simple reason as to why I don't like this extension. Rather than offering immediate functionality, it goes straight to a sign-up page and offers upgrade to the Pro paid version. Even after choosing "Basic", it still insisted on my registering it. It wanted name, email, etc. I would have been glad to test this app before deciding to pay for it, BUT, the app writers insisted on me registering to yet another database where my info would stay and, no doubt, be sold, whether I used the app or not. App/extension has been uninstalled. Sorry app writers: the answer is NO!
