Been looking for something like this for years, standard VPN's weren't exactly cutting it. Also encouraging that it has been in operation for some years. Couldn't be easier to install and use...one suggestion - add Channel 5 to the current channel choices :)

I really like this . I can watch the shows I love mostly without any problems. When occasionally there has been a problem the support team has been fast to reply and also solved the problem quickly.

I absolutely love having Beebs! I can watch my programs even though we moved far, far away from the UK. They have an amazing customer service 5*! They always replied to my query very quickly and they genuinely wanted to help, specifically George was ever so helpful. Yes, you do have to pay for subscription, but it would not break your bank. I also got a month free trial, so I could try the service before I decided to subscribe to it. If you are missing UK dramas, soaps whatever, for me this works wonders. I would definitely recommend to try it.

i've had this extension a few years now and it has always worked perfectly. On the very rare occasion that I've had an issue then the support team have always been on hand to talk me through to fix it.I would recommend for anyone wanting to access these TV stations.

Scam. As soon as you try to use it, it says you need to pay $76/year to use it. There is no option to use it for free.

If you want UK TV, this is the solution for you! It's easy and much more reliable than the VPNs I've tried. iPlayer/ITV+/All 4 + Beebs + Airplay means you can watch TV as though you're in the UK. I highly recommend Beebs

The best BBC and ITV VPN out there. I have tried several ones and this is by far the best one. It's the most reliable and it's not slow (as some of the other VPN's do). A tip when you use it for the BBC: you need to create an account and when the popup window asks you if you have a TV license you need to enter 'YES' (this is very important and it won't work if you do not enter that). As for ITV you need to create an account where you enter a valid UK address, once you have done that you have access to all the content.

( 2022 UPDATE ⚠ :) Years ago this VPN worked. In 2021 required $$$$$. NOW this extension does NOT WORK. ? NOW "BEEBS" is a MONEY SCAM.?

Does not work without a BBC license, which you can't get in America Beeb charges a premium price to use this extension, and doesn't have any way to cancel your subscription. I had to do a chargeback on my credit card and ban them from billing me in the future. This extension is useless, because you still have to pay the BBC to use their iPlayer, and they won't let you pay if you're not in the UK. This extension does NOT solve that problem. This should be banned from the Chrome store as a scam.

Non-UK residents - this is worthless without an active TV license, and you can't get one outside the UK.

been working 90% of the time since it went paid, but last 2 days it doesn't work on iPlayer - 'finding new high speed servers'

This is a paid subscription service, but for what it's worth it is still much cheaper than paying the options. To address the problem that live tv gets stuck, yes it does. But to be fair BBC and ITV are trying to fight of services like these. When it does get stuck, it usually gets back up and running after 5 minutes. Another issue that needs to be brought up is the customer portal. This is where you click to cancel, renew or change your subscription. A lot of reviews are saying that it leads to a dead page. I tried cancelling my subscription and it did! But as patient as I am, I kept pressing the customer portal until I got access to my info and eventually cancelled my subscription. So would I recommend? Yes and no... it would be a good service for watching iPlayer and ITV Hub movies and series, but still needs more work if this is going to be a paid service

this worked great last 4 years watched all the international sporting games- and turn it on today to get ready for olympics test in iplayer and nothing happens i press connect now pink button on iplayer and program just hangs -turn extension on an off so many times i think im a disco light- please fix asap -

I'm sure it works, but the "in-app purchases" is just basically a paywall you have to go through. NO THANKS.

Bought it today, 3 month subscription. Does not work after multiple attempts, fixes and re-installs. Followed the link to end my subscription and its a dead page. Avoid like the plague.

Illegal Pay For Nonsense. As usual it seems to good to be true and alas it is. The usual Hack for cash nonsense. Hide everything behind a paywall and pretend their Robin hood.

Extension baited and switched on users. Worked great and now it's just adware.

Can I only watch 1 episode per day? When I have finished watching 1 episode on ITV player, the next episode says Error?

Have to pay for this now? Via some dodgy 3rd party website? And connect it to a Google Account? No chance. This extension for years was just one click install and then it just worked. Not going through all these additional steps for the sake of accessing one website.

I downloaded it specifically to access ITV and there was no access to it, at all. Although it says there is in the description. Lots of stuff available but I'm looking for something specific.

Worked for 2+ years however Channel;4 has just blocked my account from this server.

Usually a fantastic Appm vur every now and then it doesn't work. Recently, I get this error code every time I try: "This site can’t be reachedThe webpage at https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED" Otherwise, I highly recommend this app, would rate 5* if not for the recent issue

Seems to be working fine. I am only watching the news but no issues or stuttering etc.

Works with BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub. Resolution is very good but the frame rate is a bit slow.

No longer updates on Windows PC, so it stopped working..

I used this for years before buffering drove me to another VPN and discovered the buffering was just as bad, switched from Wifi to direct cable connections and the buffering has virtually disappeared. Glad to be back. Now much improved 6 stars...Many thanks..

Best ever vpn extension I've founded on the net to watch BBC outside UK... I use it more than two years, maybe... some short interruptions, not long, from time to time, but back on function on time...

Seems like the BBC and Channel 4 have figured it out again. Hopefully you can fix it! Still a great extension

It was working for ages when I paid 3 Euro but it hasn't work well for weeks now. i have now signed up to pay the 4.50 Euro subscription but it still doesn't work.

Great when it worked. I think the latest update of Windows 10 has blocked the features. It keeps trying to reload. Hopefully the Beebs extension will be updated again soon...

It's been great for me to use in China! Finally a service where you don't need to connect to an impossibly slow UK server from the other side of the world.

It works for BBC iplayer, sometines you have to remove and readd a couple of times. I have never managed to get it to work for ITV player though

EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE YOU HAVE TO REMOVE IT AND REINSTALL IT AND WORKS TO PERFECTION AGAIN, A GREAT WEE APP.

Beebs seems to be all that we need to watch back issues of programmes on BBC or ITV.. My wife uses it first thing every day to catch up on TV from the previous evening

Before you pay for this I would check the feedback to make sure its working. Mine worked for a while and now its stopped working. There is no support or way to report. Also there is no forum but when it does work is good but right now its stopped. If anyone has the same problem in the last couple of days its better to post it here.

Beebs is one of those that worked 90% of the time, actually since a month of 2, I think its has not gone down. I don't watch so much but wifey and my son watches a lot and when it was not working fine I created a VPN with a UK IP, but don't think wifey and my son uses it a lot. Beebs is good for what it does and definitely recommend it.

Stopped working.

It stopped working a week ago, and iPlayer still blocks yesterday's 8.0.5 update. I just get "BBC iPlayer only works in the UK. Sorry, it’s due to rights issues. In the UK? Here's some advice."

I've been using Beebs for years and it generally does what it says it does with few periods of downtime, usually when one of the networks decides it's time to try and up their geoblocking game and are able to block apps like this one for, oh, about 20 minutes. I get why they do it but seriously, just give up - if you block it, it will be unblocked for reasons of sheer principle. Now, the score - I would score it with 5 stars if not for some issues that I've tolerated because it's free but have becomes worse. In the last 24 hours I've seen BEEBS insert a banner that can't be x'd out or even declined into the iPlayer screen, asking for a rating. Look, mate, if you want a good rating, that's not how to ask. ADDENDUM: I've changed my review to 5 stars due to their prompt and excellent customer service. It's definitely worth a couple of bucks per month.

There was a hiccup with the functioning of this extension towards the end of February but the extension was updated on the 24th and it appears to be back to good functioning. Amazing how well it works.

Works far better the HOLA and anything else. Also works w/ITV and Channel 4. I have to say BEEB's is seriously the best extension for UK viewing! There is the rare occasion where it will say "no internet" and I just unload the app, close Chrome, restart Chrome and reinstall the app and it works again. If you see the message about a license just say you have one. Overall, very few problems. Best quality when viewing also. Thank you very very much!!!! And Still Working Great! 03/2019

Have been using the BEEBS extension for approximately 10 months in that time I have only experienced 2 occasions when the connection failed - on both occasions the problem was solved within 24 hours.

Bbc iplayer not working, major update by bbc has seem to have killed vpn and proxy. hope it will be fixed, but unlikly at least in the forseeable future
