I blame Foscam - this is RIDICULOUS!! Don't buy a new FI8912W. The Google Extension policy also is absurd.

Useless. Will not run in Chrome on OS 10.8.
Useless software and cam. Tested on Win7 and Mac 10.8 and won't run. Tried to connect through Synology NAS with no success.

why allow it for download if it doesn't work on OSX ?
Useless. If it's only going to work on Windows, it shouldn't try to install on other platforms. I unpacked the crx file - it contains a number of Windows i386 dll files. Pretty bad form for a device that's actually running Linux.

Not working on OSX Chrome (v25.0.1364.172) with FI9821W. Works via Safari. Works with windows 7 Chrome.
Completely fails on Mac OSX with FI9821W.
