The extension worked fine on Chrome used on my Pixelbook until the most recent update (December 25). First, clicking the extension did nothing on an open web page. I uninstalled and reinstalled the extension. Now when I click to save a site, the white dialog box opens, but it's blank and does nothing. Version 3.0.115 on Chrome version 108.0.5359.111, running on a Google Pixelbook running the same version of ChromeOS (108.0.5359.111).
New installation doesn't work out of the box. Worked finally with some tips. Need to close the browser after logging in. Then freshly launched pages can be book marked.
Dead extension (for now). Web Clipper will not work with DSM 7.0 or higher. This was due to the new Synology security model. Web Clipper functionality has been removed from Note Station (DS Note).
My webclipper keeps loging out after a few hours and I need to login again and add 2FA info (even I had preaviously marked it as a not to ask again for 2FA). Any help? Ext. Version: 2.0.108 // browser EDGE on W11

Also handy when browsing the web and finding a page you don't have time to read, rather than building another bookmark, you can save the document to your DSM notes app
Brand new installation and the first message is "Unable to launch Synology Web Clipper on this page. Please refresh this page and try again." The plugin doesn't work and Synology seems to not want to fix this.
Synology Note Station is very good, but the web clipper is not. It does not support clip selection and it logs out from time to time.

Really solid extension. I wish there was a way to make quick notes however. Without actually capturing a link or screenshot. On the fly notes for example.
Like others, I would like a mobile version of this.

it works but need to fill in the NAS address, username and password everytime i restart the browser, is that we can save the log in info inside extension?
Idiot mistakes like removing leading zeros from 2FA code make this an unusually poor offering from Synology. Their poor support of this extension is also stinky.

At least it's working now on version 2.0.102! Not perfect but almost. Would be nice if it could work on Safari as well ;) !

Only gives errors that it can't launch a page and then dies. Would be helpful if it came with some documentation
The plugin is nice, works well. It would be nice to be able to just take text simple notes, not necessarily grabbing the web page...
needs clip selection mode, saving a whole web page is rarely desirable for me

Great little tool, works most of the time with few hick ups here and there. Great to save article which I would like to read again or later while browsing on the web.
Screenshot mode (manual selection, not the whole screen mode) is saving incorrect selection - not what was selected. Whole screen mode works Ok. Overall - looks like a notable replacement for Evernote. Presence of Android app is also very useful!
Really useful and a good alternative to Pocket if you want your stuff to be safe in your own archives. I prefer using the "quick mode" which allows you to save a page to your notes just by clicking on the icon, but I wish you could for example hold down the click on the icon to open the extended mode in case you want to store a specific page in a different notebook
Very unreliable. Keeps failing to connect to my Diskstation. I usually need to uninstall the plugin an reinstall it again before it works again. Sometimes logging onto my Diskstation helps.
This is GREAT. VERY useful. I use it all the time from work and when I get home, or on my phone, I use the collection from the day!
I love this extension, it is really helpful when i need to remember a site or have a copy of any information. Work Perfect with my NAS
pretty useful from my experience by creating a fairly quick way to save a page to your notebook with flexibility in the page saving approach. also allows for adding tags to said saved pages. saves pages fairly accurately in my opinion though i believe their are some current web dev implementations that dont save cleanly, see some weird web clips every so often would like to see an option in the next release that allows to manage multiple syno note stations (different servers) as i manage 3 currently and have specific uses for each.
Good idea but need more improvements 10/29/2015 after 5 month of use I found I still need to re-login to make it work, simple click on the icon might not work.

Very limited. you cannot add content to the shelves of a notebook. It's a good start. I really wanted this to be a replacement for Evernote but it's not yet. If clip by selection was added I might try it again.
need lots improvement
useless app, better login to your NAS yourself and start Note Station – this app only "helps" you logging in
Works pretty well and is really close to a replacement for Evernote (at least as of this version). Would love it it was a stand alone clipper but this works. Would also be better if it supported a bookmark capture.
Great Idea but would have wanted it to be in the OS not just in the browser.
