Installed it this morning and it worked as advertised, then a few hours later it stopped blocking things, the reels and suggested posts were back in force to torment my senses. I refreshed the install, restarted Brave, turned my computer off and on again, so far none of my very scientific methods have proven successful in restoring the peace my eyeballs were subjected to a few hours earlier. Would love to get it to work again, but even if I can't, I'd still rate it 5 star for the short period of bliss I experienced while it did work; It gave me hope that god does exists and there are some things worth living for.
It washing out the entire feed now 10/22/2022.
Not working at all, reels and recommendations are still showing, really did not do a thing for me, I tried a reboot but still no good.
Facebook implemented the same strategy that was ruining the Instagram app, slotting recommended posts (of little relevance) between every subscribed to post on my feed. Installed this just now, and to my surprise, it works. They're gone. As a happy bonus so are the reels.
Can we keep stories? I just want to hide reels & recommendations.
Thanks for making this! I hate FB Reels and was thinking about making an extension to disable them, but I was happy to find you already made a really good extension for it.
