Make it faster to send emails by adding a default email(s) I which to send to as soon as I press on the extension button without me having to wait until the Gmail window pops up.

been using many years and a few months ago, when gmail started showing up as 'google workspace' instead, on its splash screen when logging in and loading, it shows error 'try again or logout' seeing that this hasn't been updated since 2014, i guess even google forgot it exists in the webstore, and all the devs associated with it quit, moved, or were fired from goog. goog sux so bad the past few years now. do no evil. lol.

I never received a confirmation email even though I tried different browsers and different email addresses.

First of all this is NOT made by google, second this... IT DOESNT EVEN WORK WHEN I CLICK IT THIS IS TRASH.... "Meh. It needs work. Please clean up the details/description and/or the app so that it does specifically what you say it does. Don't say "any email address on a webpage" when you mean "any mailto-hyperlinked email address on a webpage." Other suggestions: Check if there is a Gmail tab (for the configured Google Apps domain) already open, and if so, open a new composition window in that tab. Otherwise, open a message composition box in a new _tab_ (NOT Window!). Don't break the composer. For example, inserting inline images should work like it does when composing new email directly.

Useless - just saves the "scheduled" email as a draft - better copy-paste the link and use Gmail compose

This was working great - and suddenly stopped today. (unistalled, reinstalled etc etc) what's happened?

It is amazingly simple: it takes the web page title as the email title and the url as the content. Love it!

This extension has been hacked. You'll get random spammy tabs.

Love this app (with only one criticism). Easy to use, effective and efficient. I just wish the app would exit or close after the email is sent.

I would like an option for opening a mailto in a new tab, not the same tab. I usually need to reffer to the page I was on, to copy text etc.

I use this extension A LOT. 2 Ideas: 1.) I would love if viewing a file:// URL it would compose an email with the file attached, not sure if that's possible within Chrome's sandbox. 2.) Would love to have it show up in the right click menu so users could simply right click on a link and send via Gmail without having to open the link.

Worked great for years, however recently stopped working.

Won't open or react. I thought my ad blocker might prevent it as a popup but I disabled it and it still didn't work.

The gmail feature should be baked in to Chrome. Love it!

Your Inbox extension works much better. It switches to the inbox tab (if its already open in Chrome) and displays the email there. Much faster then this Gmail one which seems to open a new window even if Gmail is open in a tab. This method requires Gmail to load in new window which is much slower!! Please fix this or keep Inbox it is much better than Gmail!

Ive used this add on with my Google Chrome for over 8 years. I love it! I just had to search for it to re add it and I am so glad I found it! Its excellent!

Balky. Right now it opens a new email window under the chrome window which I had to figure out and learn to look for.

I have loved this extension for years, but it suddenly stopped working with the new version of Gmail. When I click on the Gmail icon it just opens a duplicate link in a new window, doesn't create an email.

Love this! Use it every day and it works without fail. Perfect. and on all computers at the office.

Will not use your default email application, useless if you don't use Gmail and still will not use the Gmail windows app always opens Gmail on the web.

It's become very, very slow for me Chrome version Version 68.0.3440.84 (Official Build) (64-bit). It's now much faster to just select the url, copy and then paste it into a Gmail than it is to wait and wait while it loads.

Love this ext. Works great with my 3 yr old laptop! All you do is click the icon and it instantly loads the page link into a send email in Gmail,,, put in the email address you want to send it to & hit send! VERY handy and SIMPLE...

Excellent and very helpful, particularly the quoting of selected text in the email, but it should identify that text as a quotation.

Whoo hoo! It's great again! ........ was great until this week . Address autocomplete stopped working when sending a link. Hope it's fixed soon.

Used to work perfectly, opened a 'compose' window with the subject as the title of the web page, and the URL as the body of the email. I would type a recipient from my contacts and hit send. Now it does not automatically find my contacts when I type a recipient - I have to type the full email address because it doesn't autopopulate/search/typeahead. I think it must be a chrome update that broke this, please take a look at it. Otherwise works perfectly for sharing articles!

Auto complete of addresses doesn't seem to be working today. Have checked all settings and are ok so must be gmail thats at fault. Could someone look into this please. Many thanks.

As user Ron Coulter noted, the address autocomplete is broken and has been for a while now. When is this going to be fixed?

Was working well until a few days ago when it decided to stop auto completing addresses. Now looking for a replacement that is not broken.

i use it 25x day, but wish it gave me config options like where and in what order to place the URL. in the body i want the URL first, next line title/subject, next line the highlighted text.

Meh..... needs some work.... just opens a small window in gmail with the subject as the title of the website and the url attached.... Also, you guys should update the icon....

sends photos full-size but too big for my receivers. Need option to downsize attachment pix.

Really crappy app. Doesn't work as advertised. All it does is open a new Gmail window. Chrome already does that. Don't install this app. Complete waste of time.

This extension rewrites all mailto links to go to gmail with no setting or way to change it. This is unacceptable.

Come on now... Google expects its "add on" participants to keep their add on's up to date. Lets see some leadership here. This was last updated in 2013, a century ago in IT. It reacts quirky. Yes... Of course it need work.

It worked great for awhile, then nothing despite deleting and reinstalling twice....... Just quit working, I've done this with another extension, One Tab, and it worked right away but not this one.... Really disappointed!!!!!

I love Gmail.com for the way they put your emails the way I like.The only thing wrong is that I think I have 1 email only to be told I need to change it a gain.And the one number I give is my home number.That's because I am always at home.

I really like this extension it just works and is the most convenient way to share any page or article with people in a timely and very easy way. Love it works way cool.

Simple as pie to use. The easiest way I know to send links to friends or colleagues or myself. Works well on my Mac OS 10.9.5 machine in the current Chrome browser, 51.0.2704.103 (64-bit).

Switch on from Ibox By Gmail, its have better functionality.

Looks 100x better in the screenshot than it really is. This is LITERALLY just a button that opens a new browser window that then loads your G-mail (and makes you wait while it does so) just to pre-populate a blank email with the link. Seriously Google? Can't it just open an immediate pop-up and send an email based on the Chrome account I'm logged into? Why does G-mail need to fully load first? I'm not READING my mail, I just want to shoot off a quick link.

awesome extensio! Does exactly what it says, one button to pop-open a little window auto-populated with the URL and headline. just type the email address of the recipient (which can be auto-populated too with just the first few letters) and maybe put a little message, and SEND ! All while staying on your web page, keeping your flow.

I love this extension because it automatically composes an email with the website title populated in the subject line and the link to the website in the body of the email. This is what I want and need on a regular basis. When I come across a link I want to share, chrome is awful about making it easy to share stuff.

No more 'cut 'n paste' -- Just, 'Send from Gmail'!

THe mailto doesn;t work and lags after the first day of testing. Not sure if this is an old iteration of the extension but it definitely doesn't work on current Chrome versions :/.
