doesnt work... Looking forward to an update.
Works well for me, Thanks for your effort, please provide a link to donate.
Literally doesn't work whatsoever. Seperated using the default comma option, nothing highlights. Try changing it to something else. Copy and paste into field, nothing. Typed directly into field, nothing. Box doesn't even remember what was entered into it prior to hitting search when you opening it back up to try again. Abdullah Bagban is a plant. Not only does this extension not work, they're clearly trying to convince you that it does, which begs the question: why?
Awesome Perfect Time saving useful in office use I used it for searching multiple product id on webpage.
The description is a bit misleading. This is not a search tool, it is simply a highlight tool. It provides no way focus on terms or to move from term to term. If all you want to do is highlight words on a page and aren't interested in being taken to the words, this might work for you. If you need an actual search tool. look somewhere else.
Doesn't work in input boxes
Does not search while typing.
Exactly what I needed. No complaints as long as I can get multiple searches highlighted at the same time.
Works well, except for the clear all highlights feature. It hangs badly on large pages, i.e. Jenkins logs. The algorithm could do with some attention...
Very buggy extension. Sometimes it works but it's not reliable and it isn't intuitive at all.
Good Extension. Happy to see a icon in Tamil
Lousy UI. If I want to select multiple sets of text, GIVE ME MULTIPLE TEXT ENTRY BOXES! I had to figure out what "split the strings with:" meant, and that is a HORRIBLE thing to do to a user.
It is unfortunately not working anymore (Chrome 36 on OS X Mavericks)
It is not working. Not even highlighting text "06-16".
It's krap. It doesn't go tot the text that is highlighted, it doesnt even work most of the time to highlight any text on the web page. it's really a waste. Uninstalled within 5 minutes of installing.
Just what I needed for marking identifiers in online code examples.
Useful but needs to support case-sensitive searches.
Great implementation. A feature that would be helpful for me would be to allow the strings to be highlighted to persist. I'd like for specific strings to be highlighted automatically for any page that I'm viewing.
Good things: Multiple strings can be shown simultaneously (+1 star), Selected text is automatically copied to "text to highlight" field (+1 star), Clearing all highlights is possible (+1 star) Things I don't like: Same colors can be seen on different strings (-0,5 stars), Colors don't seem to be choosen logically (there would be dozens of clearly different colors if selected systematically from a color map by color, greyness, whiteness, blackness, etc.) (-0,5 stars), There's no hotkey in current version (-1 star). All in all, few steps any more to be a perfect extension. :)
Didn't let me highlight in PDF's, so its not really usefull. Also it really needs a keyboard shortcut.
