very good
Cool idea but it doesn't work in Chrome Version 49.0.2623.112 (64-bit) =/
I used to really like it, but now it crashes Chrome (specifically, it causes "aw, snap" errors).
This tool is great, and it's extremely helpful, but it *totally* destroys the Google search page even with no overrides enabled and no other extensions enabled. Tough to recommend an extension like this when it's not something I can leave enabled all the time.
bad
Doesn't seem to work on Chrome 40.0.2214.111 (64-bit) (or maybe needs instructions). I filled in: arbitrary, Host, replace-with, www, 10.0.3.135 I then enabled this rule with the toolbar button (put a star). I expected "http://10.0.3.135" to be given the host "www" matching the vhost rule in apache2. It did not. I was hoping this extension would prevent me from needing to edit my /etc/hosts or updating our networks DNS servers while testing new vhosts.
Awesome! Simple, effective for my work to test apache virtual hosts by forcing a specific HOST header.
Causes Google search pages to crash after 3-4 seconds of loading time.
Tried several extensions to modify the header, this one is the simplest IMO... Also works for me.
Simply does nothing. It just pretends doing it.
love it
Doesn't work..
good to use but sometimes unstable
OK App, but doesn't let you change host header - unlike other extensions....
Great work! Does anyone else here need a function editing the added headers ? every time I do it I must add a new header
I like it but it breaks a couple of sites. I'm not able to access basecamp with it enabled.
Functionality is what I expected and needed, everything OK with that. BUT On some pages I had weird behaviours which were the result of not loaded JS files. In Chrome Developer Tools "Network" I could see that some files were not loaded because their status was "canceled". This did not happen on every load. Even more concerning is, that this behaviour happened while none of my Header Hacker rules were active.
works great!
This is really cool. But whenever i use custom header, it converts Hyphen ("-") to Underscore ("_") So, i am not able to use it. Any comments ?
i love the daily show but they blocked my country (australia)! now i can watch it online (still get ads but)
Thank you, works as intended. I can finally watch The Colbert Report on Chromium :)
