REMOVE this extension from Chrome and delete it. The orginal Dev sold this to someone else and there is hidden code inside that can randomly open up a new tab to boredtravel.com. Report this extension to Google.
Contains malicious code that opens the website boredtravel.com in a new tab when first opening your browser and then reopens the tab every few hours later. Extension by itself does a great job, I used to like it, but version 1.0.23 contains malware code that makes your browser open the website boredtravel.com in a new tab from time to time. It used to be a solid 4-star extension to me, but as others have pointed out, it now contains some blocks of code that continually open unwanted background tabs to an apparent travel website (I haven't checked whether that site is legitimate - I just exit immediately). I enjoyed this extension, but I don't think I'll be reinstalling it after this sketchy activity.

DEFINITELY A MUST HAVE
Best of the bunch. I've tried like a dozen extensions just to get lyrics for YouTube so I can sing along, but none of them worked well, and most were crappy when they worked a little. This one isn't perfect, but it has everything that I could need, and look good, and is easy to use, and even scrolls the lyrics and gives you the ability to manually sync with the video, and search for correct lyrics version if necessary.
Works pretty well, doesn't work with YouTube Music for whatever reason though

I like this extension. It works except for the timed lyrics (scrolling). That doesn't bother me. I do wish there was an option for themes.

Like most extensions on Chrome, it really doesn't work, like its supposed to. It shows lyrics, but timed lyrics not only doesnt work, it won't scroll at all, even manually. it seems Google has not really thought out this extension thing, or they are too lazy to vet the extensions. Skip This One, wait for one that works.

The lyrics are almost always 60 seconds behind. I wouldn't mind, but there's no way to turn off the incorrectly timed scrolling.

Works great with Google Play Music on desktop. Make sure you refresh Google Play Music after you install the extension.
It isn't compatible with Vocaloid songs their dubs or their covers
Stopped Working.... From today...
Just downloaded and it's working fine with Google Play Music. The only thing I could see that could be improved upon would be correctly syncing the highlight bar to match the lyrics being sung at the time. The timing is off.
Didn't recognise ANY song on SoundCloud.
Works great. Remember to refresh the player after you install the extension. You need to click the extension to open it as there's no embedded option on the page, and the tab has to be in focus for the extension to work.
Doesn't seem to be working in Google Play Music, even for the song listed in the screenshot.
I liked it. but the first video I watched (Slipknow - The Devil in I), The first time he said "You'll" It was instead "You? ll" please fix this. It's a small thing, I know. but for some reason it annoys me

hi i hope we can get this working. i am trying to play metallica in youtube but i get "no song playing" message, any ideas mate.
Phenomenal. This is exactly what I need when I'm listening to music while working/studying and I hear a lyric that I didn't catch. The lyrics follow along with the song so I don't have to go through the hassle of opening a new tab, searching for the song lyrics, and then trying to figure out where in the lyrics/song I heard it.

This used to be a flawless five start extension. However, it no longer works in Google Play Music. It sometimes brings up the lyrics but, it never scrolls them on its own, anymore.

A option for a fixed windows can be good. Or better, a small window like the google mini player with the lyrics inside!

so I see now that I can only use it when a song is on, like on stopify, sound cloud, crap like that, the only reason I rate it 4 stars is because t doesn't have every song! So, BOO! To that.
Rarely finds lyrics to most of the songs I listen to. Just end up googling the lyrics manually.

So far, it works flawlessly.
[Request] Allow the app to also fetch Artists from the description. -After the description is scanned, it should provide a list of "Recognized Artists". For which we have to simply click on the relevant one. I write this because often polished videos on Youtube do not include the artist in the title, only in the description. It is inconvenient to have to type in not only the artist name but title as well. If such is the case, it would be better off just dragging the title in Chrome to do the search and only having to copy,paste the artist's name (this extension does not allow multiple copy,pastes due to the pop-up menu design).
A great extension, works well! (Used in Google Play Music) When you try to get the lyrics for a song, there three things that can happen (From best to worst) 1. You'll get lyrics and timings that will sync to the music (It probably won't sync perfectly to the music, but any lyric currently sung will be on screen). 2. You'll get lyrics with no timings, so if it's longer than the popup, then you have to scroll it yourself. (Feature Request: Could you add a feature where you can resize the bar to be longer / shorter). 3. You'll get no lyrics at all. :'( Which one of these that you receive really depends on the song's popularity.
An excellent extension! Would it be possible that you consider fixing this: 1. When lyrics cannot be found and then the next song is played, your extension hangs on its search dialog (for previous song). It should restart on the next song. 2. When displayed as an external window, it shows only the current song. I would like that next songs would be displayed in the same window as well. I use it in GPM. Thanks.

Truly excellent interface and pop out view is so clean. A few Christian songs could not be found, but I gues you won't find all less well known songs. Keep up the great work!
Works very well, the design is simple as expected, highly recommended.
It's pretty cool, functionally it works. The API it fetches lyrics from gets a lot of obvious words wrong though.
Can't find hardly any song I listen to unless it's mainstream stuff. And when I search it RARELY finds anything, when I know for a fact many lyric sites have the song(s). It works great when it actually finds a song though, just needs better lyric sources, or search function (maybe show multiple results instead of none?).
Fantastic app! It's simple, it's clean and it just plain works. As a bonus, v2 now has options for light or dark themes, font size and a high contrast karaoke mode. So happy I found this!

Works plain and simple. Tried others which did not work, this one does the job.
Great app that does what's on the packet! Only problem so far is when I listen to a song with a feat., it sometimes doesn't work. This can usually be fixed by making a few changes to the artist title.
Definitely something google should think about absorbing! Great extension! Loving that it follows the song! Well done!
