Its not working

Couldn't even signup, unknown error keeps popping up

i cant even make an account for it. it just keeps saying error i cant even use my google account either.

Doesnt work Makes you set up an account and the account setup doesnt work, trying to login with google doesn't work and creating an account results in a undefined error.

Its good and all but no microsoft edge support

great extension! love it

There's absolutely no need for an account structure. Setup took much longer than a simple one-function app should take. Link sharing took multiple tries to work.

IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! it keep saying : "You must be playing a Disney Plus show/movie to host." when I want to host a movie. The movie is playing on the background! SO FRUSTATING!!

Really like the extension especially in comparison to other options out there. There seems to be a slight issue where you have to be registered friends in order to pause and play with host only control, but other than that it runs really smoothly. The time budget seems a little low for the free version, especially given how long many of Disney's movies can be. Still a huge fan personally and I appreciate that you did this all by yourself, it's quite impressive. Overall very pleased.

Terrible extension. It will play for my partner and then not even let me start. If it starts, it won't let me pause. Horrific. Would not wish this extension upon my worst enemy.

I got this extension a week ago or so and it's been good. Only thing I wish is that if I'm the host and I hit pause or play, then it would pause and play on everyone else's screen too. That way everyone is always at the same spot. Otherwise its great.

It's impossible to get it to work.

It was a bit complicated to figure out at first, and it had a few loading issues (but I believe those were wifi issues), but overall it's very easy to use to watch things on Disney Plus with friends over quarantine or if you can't see your friend. We're using it to watch Wandavision and it's been working amazing! The cost for having unlimited streaming time is cheap, and it also resets after a certain amount of time as well.

they already have group share on disney plus so this is utterly useless

This is impressive how you've made it work however sometimes it would randomly glitch and skip right to the end and after every episode we have to completely restart the party and email it all over again but keep working on it!! I'll still keep using it even tho it has glitches

Works just great, having made a lot of friends online, I do enjoy spending time with them and watching movies tends to make us happy. Honestly with the work you have put into this, I do greatly appreciate and honestly enjoy the program. From time to time the syncing of the movies (normally when a person is joining) has it's delay's and lags behind when syncing. However overall I have had little to no issues and just enjoy being able to be apart of your project Sam. With Disney having yet to roll out their official watch party to countries outside the US, it's an absolute godsend that this extension still works. It's simple, functional, and it allowed us to suffer through a DCOM ready for a podcast recording. Thanks so much.

It took awhile for my friend and I to figure out how to use it, but I LOVE this extension. The only reason I'm giving it four stars and not five is because the chat in the movie doesn't seem to work (but we can chat on the extension, so that's pretty much fine) but the main thing is that I'll be hosting the movie, but my friend is the one who can pause and play the movie, not me. Not mad or anything, just curious why that is? Anyways, thanks for creating this!!!

was really excited to try this out with a friend who lives away from me who is also having to self isolate, it worked well for around the first 20 minutes but then caused the other member of my party to disconnect, while everything appeared fine on her end, so our chat function was pointless and it was no longer synced up, leaving us to just watch a movie at the same time while using a different networking site to communicate which made the extension a little pointless sadly! It has some real potential to work really well and I would pay the extra money once I know it worked, however now I've used around 3/4 of my free party watch time this week while simple watching a film on disney+ and not receiving the benefits :( I wish you luck on getting it working properly though, has soooo much potential!!

It's a solid app. I will say you need to have some patience, it can be buggy at times, but when it works well it works really well. I prefer the chat style as well to the Netflix Party app, the transparency option is great and the emoji keyboard is comprehensive. But again, I would have given it a 5 star except for the bugs. The glitches are not a deal breaker though because when the app works well it works very well.

We had a family watch party of Princess Bride and it worked pretty well, although for some reason when my parents logged in they restarted from the beginning and had to fast forward a bit so we were on the same place

I live in Texas but my sister goes to school in Indiana so we absolutely love that this extension has allowed us to watch shows and movies on Disney+ together. Now we schedule fam movie nights together on the weekends and we can have everyone join in. It's really nice to have the feature where you can pause it on the other person's device as well as your own and the shows/movies always stay in sync (across the devices). I'm so grateful to the person who created this extension for bringing me closer to my sister, it honestly makes it feel like we're watching in the same room, even though we are states apart :)

It does what it claims, it takes a second to set up but I can't think of any worthwhile technology that doesn't. The link sharing makes it really easy to get a party going and that chat feature works well. Syncing the video was a problem but for a FREE non- native application it's easy to just start the movie from the beginning.

This product is great. I have been using Netflix Party for a while now and while it works great, it is a bit of a hassle sending the link especially since discord has been down on my girlfriends computer. Yes there are quite a few bugs, I understand that this product is rather new and is still being worked on so that three star rating will probably become a four as soon as some of the more page-breaking issues are fixed. Other than that I would like to say that the interface in the pop-down menu is a bit confusing and unintuitive, but apart from that I like the amount of functionality offered when compared to Netflix Party and the like. Keep up the good work and thank you so much for letting me watch Nemo with my friends every night for the rest of time.

For a free app, this is so much better than Netflix Party! thanks so much to the folks who created it. The see-through chat is so dope and I love the emojis. They're still working out some bugs but you can always refresh, host-only control, or something else to get it back up and running in only a minute or two. Again, it's free and having multiple chat features helps to get it all running smoothly too. Either way, awesome job and I hope it stays up for a while

Works great! Only problem is that you have to have disney plus to watch anything which to me isnt a surprise. You also get a limited amount of time before you have to pay for it. In terms of functionality it works great.

Is such an amazing app. Very nice during Covid when I couldn't have friends over, great way to watch movies with them. Preferred when there was a room code and password as it was a little easier to send it to my friends, other than this, amazing app

This extension is fair. There was a problem with all the parties starting at the same time. The chat was a cool feature. Only thing was not all of my party could read each other's messages and each message sent would appear twice. My party was more than two people. It would work just fine with two people however. Thank you for creating this piece. If used more and bugs would be fixed, I would definitely buy more hosting time.

It has it's issues but honestly so does Netflix party. I hope it continues to improve, it's made quarantine away from my boyfriend so much more bearable. We can still watch movies together and it's really been great.

I absolutely LOVE this extension, and the look of it way better than Netflix Party. I like that that the chat has the transparent overlay verses always visible.

Me and my long distance boyfriend use this to watch the star wars movies and it was such a hit! He's a nerd for them and I genuinely liked this version a lot better than the netflix party extension. Minor issues but nothing too crazy to care, not a perfectionist over here. Thank you.

I'm so happy this exist!

Took us a little bit to figure it all out but the Disney Plus Party Feature is great! For our family, as we navigate through quarantining- it helps us remain close and we don't have to give up our favorite past times- like family movie night. The chat feature is great and the Friends list is extremely helpful so I do not have to navigate sending the link out (but still useful if trying to share with a big group). Movie night was a success- we'll be back (soon you'll see-- If you cannot tell, Hamilton will be our next movie night).

My friend and I used this extension because we wanted to have a wine night, but coronavirus is still a concern. There were a few bugs when we started the party, but we figured out they seem to be on Disney Plus's end, rather than this add-on. For example, at certain points the movie would skip forward and then not allow us to go back, or chat wouldn't show up in the window. After exiting out of the add-on AND Disney Plus and reloading, everything worked perfectly. For a beta test, this worked fabulously for what we wanted, even with the few minor hiccups in the beginning. Thank you Sam for putting in the time and effort for this! Will definitely be donating. :)

I LOVE this extension. It works really well to share a movie with friends. The only reason I didn't leave 5 stars is because it sometimes gets a bit buggy when I tried to pause the movie. Otherwise it worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend this extension!

It worked ok at first, now it's just doesn't do anything. Invites don't work, whether they are sent through a link or through the extension. The pause play feature messes up all the time, where if the someone other then the host pauses it, it restarts the video. And we spend more of our watch time trying to fix it, then actually watching.

Great extension. I loved it. Transparent chat is a must have and I love having it. Sometimes gotta try a few times to get everyone in the same party but once you're in it's amazing

I've only used the extension a couple times but its right up there with Netflix party and hulu party. its easy to use and make an account, the movie doesn't de-sync like it does with Netflix party which is a major plus. i will definitely donate so i can use it more!

I'm not sure what everyones complaining about. This is amazing! and I love how you can add friends on it. I cannot recommend it enough. Sure, sometimes it glitches and my friends video might pause or we go out of sinc but one of us just exists the video and comes back in and its perfect again. I managed to show my friend star wars while in lockdown. :)

Worked well for me and my friends, don't have money for unlimited stuff but i don't really mind because it is understandable that you need to make money as it does cost money. Love the reacting emojis that show up they are great and make the experience a lot more fun for me and my friends, wish there were more options and hope there will be in the future (eg sad reacts for sad scenes) All round it worked well and im happy with it :)

I like it a lot! You should keep this layout<3 The fact you have made this extension on your own is impressive and it works really well for what it is. The $3 is worth the unlimited usage and I hope you are able to get more positive reviews because my experience has been nothing but good :)

Loved it, allowed me and my friend to watch together who is half way around the world:) Some bugs and got disconnected here and there, but overall awesome experience that couldn't have happened without this extension!

Somewhat buggy, but it's in beta so that's to be expected. The transparent chat and emoticon option look like they'll be awesome if I can get them to work. I tried this with a my friend who has a Mac, so we're thinking it might have been a cross-compatibility issue? Four stars because we had some trouble with the screens syncing, but it was still a cool experience. Looking forward to seeing how this develops. Keep up the good work!

It was so easy and user-friendly! Such a genius idea, too. The only thing I wish is that the host could control the members' screens when it comes to pausing and stuff. My friends and I wanted to watch over Zoom and used this so it would be lined up perfectly. Overall, I really enjoyed this app and will be using it again!

This extension worked really well for my family and i when using it! Though it took a couple extra steps (everyone setting up an account and friend requesting) it work perfectly. It was well thought out and worked very well for me

Honestly amazing experience overall. We had a bit of issues at the beginning maybe because we had 5 of us trying to watch together but once we were in the same party we watched mulan at amazing quality and flawlessly. would definitely recommend if you want to watch with ur friends.

The most amazing app to ever exist!!!!! Me and my boyfriend are currently long distance and were struggling to find a way to watch a movie together. We discovered this app and its amazing!! There are some slight bugs but as its still a newer app it's totally understandable. Perfect for a movie night for those who can't be together :')

Pretty bummed about this extension, it worked well for me in the beginning of its existence before it was redone. Now you can only host a party for 2 hours without paying, which is not even enough time to finish a marvel movie. I also had many issues starting a party and had a random bot join and no URL show up. Very frustrating.

The temporary version of this app was the best working one to date. Ever since it was updated I have been unable to sync movies or even watch them with friends. Its ridiculous. I would rather have the temporary version with its bugs then ever use this one again.

Not without bugs, but I suspect these can be worked out. Would be good to know when another person is typing, or have a status indicator of other people. Took a couple of goes to work it out, but overall, great to have the experience. With a bit of refining, this could be a great social tool for people who can't physically meet each other, particularly with the pandemic. Will be doing it again.

you just can't connect to a server or join a party. this should be in beta testing not out

OMGOSH! This takes all the hassle of links and emails with a simple friends system! In my opinion, disney plus party is better than netflix party (no tea no shade). 10/10~ would reccomend.

theres a lot of work needed to be up to par with netflix party. Like when me Nd my gf started the movie, I woild pause it and it would only pause her sound but not the screen. then she would pause it, it would make me jump to where she was

Glad to see that it worked for many others, but it unfortunately didn't work for myself. The links didn't work and I found it rather tedious to go through the whole making an account thing. Since the links weren't working my friend and I had to take the extra steps to add each other then send an invite via our friends list, however even that method seemed to not work. My friend did connect but the chat did not show up for them and it only showed up once I had left the party! The times for our movie also didn't seem to sync up, in fact I watched 7 minutes of the movie not realising that they were never watching along with me and were still at the 27 second mark. The thing I enjoyed most was the transparent chat; how you can change the transparency of the chat and how it overlays on the movie, however overall this extension definitely has a long way to go!

God it's awful. They make you sign up for an account, if you want to use it more than once it's behind a paywall?? Links didnt work unless I invited them directly through their awful friends list. Skip this one

Honestly, I love this app more than Netflix Party. It works so well and works so much better than Netflix Party, which is really impressive considering one person developed this app. Props to the developer. It's been great on date nights! I love that you can change the transparency of the chat as well as hide it when you feel like it. Great app.

Works great! It takes a bit to get used to HOW to use it (adding friends, then inviting or giving them a link). We love the transparent chat option! The only reason why I didn't give it 5-stars was because sometimes it shows chats double on the screen, and it kicked a friend of mine off, but she could get right back on. Overall, it works well and it's great to be able to watch with my family who live across the country!

This extension worked well enough that I can use it without to many problems. Like everything, it can be better, but overall it's a great app. I just wish it didn't have to username thing, that part has confused me and my friends a lot.

This has worked great for us! Me and my sisters all live on opposite sides of the country, and we LOVE to be able to watch movies from our childhood together and enjoy the chat. I love that the chat can be transparent and you can customize that. It seems very intuitive and user friendly. The pause feature works great for us and I LOVE that you can react with emojis through the whole screen, not just the chat. Keep you the great work!!!

There is no way I would survive this extension. I would have never been able to watch all of the Marvel and Star Wars movies without this extension. There are a few bugs here and there, but that's okay because there is literally one guy working on it all.

I love this extension! It gives me a way to have my movie nights with my best friend while she's states and soon to be oceans away. The new update was confusing to start but we have the hang of it now! I also love the emojis and the reactions on the chat, plus the transparent chat so that the movie screen can be larger. Overall, I do enjoy the new update! Thanks for everything!! :)

It worked wonderfully! I had a little trouble initially with the set up and getting my friend to connect, but once we figured out what we were doing wrong it worked fine!

please revert back to the old netflix party-like version! that one worked a charm and I've been struggling to get the new version to work, its very very frustrating

The extension was okay. Writing the account was a bit of a hassle. I didn't really understand why it was needed. It's hard to see when you get friend requests, while you're watching something with your friend (that sent you the friend request). I'm glad that we could share a link instead because it made the process much easier. However, there was a problem with synchronizing the video. When I (the host) would pause and re-play the video, my friend's video would cut off and not play.

I think this is a great extension, I personally have not tried that many party extensions but it worked great for me an my mum to watch movies from different countries. It took us a while to figure out how to get onto the same party, and i would only change making it a bit more like Netflix party where you just have to have a link to join and only the person hosting needs an account understandable if thats hard to programme or something and i love using it so don't be put down by all the negative comments. Works great, very impressive for a one person team. Cheers

This was so cool. Thank you so much. With lockdown in place a lot of my movie nights with friends and family have been ruined, but with this extension...its back on!!! So far this app has worked wonderfully for us. Since this pandemic began, I've been isolating myself from my family because I don't want to get them sick as I am an essential worker. Because of this, I haven't been able to spend much time with them, but we were able to call one another and watch a movie together for the first time in a while, which was really nice.

it works good man, just work on the connectivity issues. sometimes ill leave the party and i have to start the process again to start another party. But aside from the bugs and stuff it works great! keep it up :)

This extension overall is pretty good and very impressive that it was created by a younger person. It has a few bugs but I love watching movies with friends so I appreciate the plug in!
