Kept trying numerous dark mode extensions until I found this one - so many mess up the pics on the page(s) - this one has not done so, showing the pics as expected.

Simple to use with the drop down menu when you click on the extension. You can also prevent websites from being in dark mode which is great if you use consistently and are happy to view in normal mode.

It just happens to be exactly what I was looking for.

It does what it does

Doesn't actually do what I expected it to do. This extension seems to be no more than a color inverter with some basic filtering. When enabled, it removes the dark theme I already have set on sites that offer their own dark themes, such as YouTube and Google, as well as sites that are dark by default - so they go from native dark mode to light mode, then this extension dims the light mode, So in effect, it actually makes things brighter. On sites that are only light by default, this extension does work by making the background dark, but it makes it pure black. There is no way to set the dark background color to something a bit less dark. It does offer a contrast setting that does make the background less dark, but at the expense of making the text more dark, hence, more unreadable.

I think this extension is fantastic. The reason I'm giving it one star is because, as of today (Feb 6th, 2023), the extension hasn't been updated since July 29th, 2019. And that worries me a little. Doesn't an extension like this one (or any extension really) need to be patched as often as possible, just to prevent exploits from hackers, and so forth? It's a small concern I have with a GREAT extension. I've only had it for a few days, and I don't know how I've been able to function without it. It's so good. But I have that small concern.

Sometimes everything is too black and when I work on google big query it changes the color scripts randomly

Just installed it on my Acer Chromebook 15. Just learning what the settings do. I have no complaints! Therefore 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Probably the best extension for dark mode on the web, my most liked part is that i can select which websites I don't want to have the extension applied on or choosing the only websites i want it to be applied on, it makes the whole experience so much better. Loved it...

Love this! Works great for a lot of sites, but since it detects and inverts colors to create the dark mode, some sites look like really really weird eyesores. Thankfully, there's an option to blacklist specific sites from the dark mode, so you can enjoy it on sites that need it and exclude it from sites that don't. I will say though that on google docs, the site I installed this for, it inverts the colors of images added to documents. I wish there were a way to keep the dark mode on for everything but the images.

Banger as hell. Perfect add on. 10/5 stars. Love it. Marry it. This add on has a wonderful feature that allows you to choose which sites you'd want to be dark. Stream Devious Grilla by Lu Steyx on all platforms. It's also not just an invert filter. It inverts the brightness, but keeps the hue of all the colors on screen. Get this one. I repeat, IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR DARK MODE GET THIS ONE! IT WORKS ON GOOGLE DOCS!

Images (on Google Docs) look x-ray like (glaringly white/black in contrast, with skin tones inverted) in dark mode? The extension otherwise is very nice.

It works like Magic. Just turn it off for websites with their own dark themes, like Facebook, YouTube, or it will conflict, but it reminds you that already. Very easy to use and brightness and contrast is the best way to edit the theme. I dont like the warmth in the night theme, it looks dull, but blues and blacks are very relaxing.

The ultimate chrome extension for night shift and dark mode management. Kudos, I truly love it. If only one could export and import settings to and from a file.

it is a great extension to add in all honesty. it is much batter than my old dark reader and it has more features and functionality. i like how you can disable it only for certain website's without having to disable the entire extension. and it white list the websites you disable it on. you can practically edit everything from brightness, contrast , and so much more. i would recommend this extension to everyone and anyone who uses a computer. it just great and it has functionality so i am satisfied.

Best Dark Mode for Chrome I've tried. I really like the way that sites can be saved for dark listed or white listed, but the additional night shift list - for some sites which really require an 'in between mode' - is what I give this 4 stars for. My eyes really appreciate this addon. BUT I'd like to see one more toggle list - and one that I would come back to give 5 stars for- Invert Graphics On/Off. Seeing photos inverted is a weird experience. The night shift mode helps as a work around but really, I'd love for this toggle to exist.

ITS COOL!

This was the only reader I found that properly handled pictures. It does not invert pictures, which is what I wanted. Other readers invert everything, including pictures, which makes the pictures difficult to see.

The best dark mode extension I have found so far. Handles some highly formatted pages decently well. I like the ability to toggle and add exemptions. The night shift feature is also nice. It has flaws but I'm using it over others which I think says it all.

I have used several of these dark readers, and most of them just flip everything which can be problematic. Lunar reader works well, doesn't mess up some sites and is a joy to use.

Switches Light and Dark Mode. Doesn't filter site as most Reader extensions do.

This is the ONLY extension I've found, in a very long hunt, that actually works with Google Docs since the latest update to Chrome. Thank you, my eyes thank you. I sent feedback when the extension appeared to function the same as the rest. It does, in fact, function as I was hoping. I hadn't refreshed the page. My bad. Don't use this, or any other dark theme extension, globally. If you already have dark mode turned on in specific webpages, it will make them look wonky. Otherwise, it's exactly what I was personally looking for.

My favourite dark theme app. I can shade things subtly with warm colours with the dark mode or give the whole page a comfortable night shift rinse. I am not looking for perfect; each site has its own quirkiness but this extension handles most of them really well.

Love the theme colors. Works very well considering how tricky it is to accomplish. I wonder if you could implement some sort of "element-zapper" function that allows a user to select and toggle the inversion of elements on a page that haven't applied the dark mode properly?
