For those who reported the malfunction of this add-on, please download NflxMultiSubs2021 which works normally.

im using mac chrome, but not able to see 2nd subtitle for a while, wonder if anyone know how to do so? have turned off ad block in netflix already

It was working perfectly fine but today suddenly stopped working. I am using a macbook air and I cant see any subtitle in the secondary subtitle page. Please help me to fix it

Rlly enjoyed this extension and have recommended it to lots of ppl already. However, since last night, the 'secondary subtitle' column went blank. Refreshed the page and restarted my mac multiple times but it was still in vain. Hope this issue could be addressed soon!

I'm giving it 5 stars as I really did love this app when it worked. Unfortunately Netflix really did mess things up with the new update :( if anyone finds an alternative equally as good as this please let me know.

It doesn't work anymore. Netflix video player UI changed its size and location. Dual subtitle selection is now off screen. I am unable to see or click on the most important part of this extension. Please relocate, resize or rethink the layout so it will work again. Thank you!
Has it happened to you that there is no way to select a secondary language? It's as if I don't have the extension at all, and it worked great before for a long time. I've removed it from my browser, and reinstalled it, but still doesn't work. I don't know what else to do. Please help ;(

Have been using this extension for years but now it's not working due to the latest update of Netflix. Can you please fix? Willing to send donation if needed, this is the best dual subtitle out there that I used.
I really love it, thank you for creating this! Unfortunately, it's broke after Netflix has updated their interface, the secondary subtitle section was gone. Hope it will be fixed soon, I really need double subtitle. Thanks in advance!

I was enjoying this extension for more than a year but somehow, it doesn't work from a week ago. I tried removing it and adding again, resetting the chrome browser and deleting unnecessary data after the netflix watch url. Is is because of Netflix's recent UI update?
Netflix changed their interface and now the multi subs don't show up. :(((

Used to be that amazing extension you need on every multicultural household, and recommend everyone around you using Netflix. Unfortunately, as many others said the last Netflix update broke it. Here is hope the developer will fix it, because I would gladly pay for this. Until then, had to lower the rating.

Was great, however with a new Netflix update it's been rendered useless. I use this for my english-learning students and they currently watch it in either all-english (too hard) or zero-english (no learning) subtitles.

It was working fine until now. But as the other reviewer suggested, turning "Test participation" Off in Netflix's Account Setting fixed it.

If it doesn't work, you can try to do as below: Go to Netflix > Account > Profile > Test participation > Off It works for me now.

Unfortunately for some reason the secondary subtitles list shows up blank no matter what show I choose. I've tried refreshing many times, and also checking the error message when I press F12 (it says "Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.") and I don't know how to fix it.

Great extension for watching foreign films with non-native English partner. Only let down by some kind of memory issue causing the secondary subtitles to become unavailable when the computer goes to sleep or after an extended period. I think the host/browser is dumping the temp data while the extension thinks its still loaded. Fix 2nd Sub on MOVIES: Reload page Fix 2nd Sub on TV SHOWS: Change episodes (annoying but works consistently) If unfixable, please add a simple refresh button to force the second subtitle list to reload/reestablish references. Would donate money if it happened.

It worked at first and then suddenly it doesn't work anymore, even though I tried to fix the error. I read all the reviews for this extension and it seems that many users have the same problem as mine. I hope the developers who made it could fix this problem as soon as possible.
It once worked, like one or two years ago maybe? But at least right now it doesn't work for me. I rate it 3 stars just for the past versions, but for this one, please fix it.

When it works, it is great. However it doesn't work often.
It only gave me japaneese subtitles when I was hoping to get english subtitles for the show. Not helpful for my needs. Please fix this or tell me how to resolve it.

The subtitles popped up but it wasn't the right kind I wanted English subtitles but it gave me Japanese
The few times you actually need dual subtitles this extension does the job really well. However, it turns on automatically every single time you start a new episode and you have to click the menu to turn it off. I don't know what the thought is behind having this overhead of turning the feature off all the time. I feel like if I turn the dual subtitles off for a show it should remember this. There's no preferences menu so definitely no way to disable this. Pretty annoying.

Does the secondary subtitles not work to translate Japanese to english because there isn't an option for english subs in any of the japanese anime that I'm trying to watch.
