Great tool to have, automatically advises if you can claim donation.

Use it often and have effortlessly raised funds for an animal charity close to my heart. My only bug is that Amazon isn't on the list of retailers

Very useful reminder when shopping. However, it can be a bit annoying when clicking on the icon and it takes you away from the web site, then returns you to their home page and you've got to go hunting for the product you wanted all over again! That's my only complaint.

No complaints at all. Saves the hassle of having to check if retailers are subscribed and hasn't affected my computer speeds!

Really easy to set up, just download the link and it does the rest automatically, I wasn't aware of it but will always use it now and have managed to raise quite a bit of money for charity just by buying the things I usually buy :)

I use it all the time, its an easy way to raise funds for charities. When you search for something on google, you can clearly see which companies offer a donation too.

A great way to help raise money for my chosen charity. It takes so little effort to set up and use; I had been concerned that it might be intrusive but it certainly is not.

I've used easy fundraising for a couple of years and have raised over £940 for a Dog charity called STAFFIE SMILES. The charity helps save Staffies from being euthaniased. The Donation reminder is brilliant and I now only shop with retailers who are signed up to donate.

I installed the app over a year ago and I've raised well over £100 for my grandsons' school and it's cost me nothing. Every time I buy online, if it's a participating retailer, a reminder pops up and I just click - sometimes it's pence, sometimes it's pounds {if you use a comparison site for insurance for instance) and it all adds up. No reason not to so just do it!

Very helpful app .... totally surprised by how many companies will make a donation and it ensures that I don't miss an opportunity to raise money for my charity.

A great way to raise donations you'd otherwise miss and it costs you nothing! This is a fantastic way to help. I use mine to donate to the International Otter Survival Fund. You can pick your favourite so it's customisable to the cause you want. I wish I'd found it sooner! Can't recommend this enough. There's a reminder function so you don't miss any chances and it alerts you to a new site that you could get a donation from when you go there. Very handy.

I sue this to raise money for my favourite charity. It's so easy, quick and simple - i love the way when you click on a website to buy something, it automatically prompts you to claim your donation. I manage to raise a significant regular sum that I'm sure makes a difference to the charity but which costs me nothing extra.

Easy to install & simple to use. It's so helpful to be reminded about donations, especially on sites that I didn't even know I could donate from.

Being able to contribute to my favourite charity when i shop online is brilliant! It costs nothing extra but still helps the charity with just a click.

Sometimes it hasn't reminded me, or it has timed out if I delayed my purchase. Other times it does a reminder when I'm not actually purchasing anything. Overall, it is helpful, but I have to remember to check it has been activated. I would prefer more of the money to go to the good cause but some is better than none.

I love it! I put off joining, thinking it would possibly be risky or time consuming but it was so easy to set up and it is very rewarding to be able to give to a charity close to my heart whilst just shopping. It could not be easier and you get regular updates as to how much has been donated. Don't put it off, do it today!

In general a good app, especially when you are unaware a particular website offers a donation, the popup stops you missing the opportunity to earn for your cause. But sometimes even if you activate a donation, you still get multiple prompts to activate again as you browse around the site. Also for certain sites (e.g. Tesco) that you use regularly but the donation isn't relevant (e.g. for new customers only etc.) the constant pop up is annoying - the option to permanently mute reminders for certain sites needs to be added.

I always use easyfundraising to raise money for my local charity, sometimes i don't know whether a site is in the list so to get the reminder is wonderful as i don't want to miss out on any donations.

It's good and helpful to have a reminder, but it still doesn't connect me clicking yes to me receiving the donation. And when I have raised this with easyfundraising, they have said I need to go through the website everytime. Surely the point of this is so you don't have to do that.

I like the fact that it is there on the web page when you are browsing and reminds you to click so you can access the rewards. A great way of ensuring you get as many rewards as possible.

I always use easyfund raising if I can with participating merchants. The reminder on Google chrome is a great help.

Great way to make sure you don't miss getting a donation for your favourite charity

A fantastic concept and idea but needs some serious work in terms of user experience. Firstly, you need to make it super obvious to users that the donations will not track if they have an adblocker on their browser - not communicating this has meant my chosen cause has missed out on a lot of money. Secondly, as others have said, the pop up box is hugely obtrusive, particularly if you're also using another extension like Topcashback. The whole thing needs better user testing and research so that people can easily and quickly make donations that will actually track, while not affecting the actual task they're trying to complete (buying something).

Simple way to remind me when I can use Easyfundraising. Makes sure i always remember to claim and isn't intrusive or annoying.

why not give as the same time you are buying things on line so easy too use and every little donation is one that causes did not have untill you starting buying ty stay safe ty guys for the site what a great way of helping one and all god bless x

Pop up can get a bit irritating BUT I have raised £50 for the PTA by doing nothing than shop online as I was intending to anyway. So worth the interruption overall

It's like a nagging child wanting a sweet. Sooooo annoying. Why can't it pop up if you make a purchase at the checkout stage?

Certainly does remind me that a donation may be available. However, it is distracting and frequently covers up information I want to read. Clicking on it does not always result in a donation, despite the message displayed. Would prefer a more reliable process.

Great reminders to donate, and works on most websites!

This is the easiest way ever to raise money for a good cause. A couple of quick clicks while you are shopping on line and your donation is sorted. The other ting is it costs you NOTHING. It is suprising how all the odd pennies here and there add up with the larger donations from comparison sites and larger memberships.

I love that I can search for a product online and if the seller supports easyfundraising the button pops up, if the product is the same price in 2 or more shops I always pick the one that donates to my cause via easyfundraising

So many times I have gone to place an order online and the easyfundraising reminder popped up. Great to have, to remind me about the donations that I could have missed had it not been there. At the end of the day, every little helps towards the charities we all support and I love that my online shopping gains my charity that little bit extra through easyfundraising directly from the retailer.

Great way to remember to raise a donation. Would be great to be able to tell it not to remind on certain sites (Tesco) where the donation isn't valid etc.

The reminder is so quick and easy to use, you don't have to remember to click on anything, you are reminded automatically and just click on it. It encompasses a large number of retailers making it a doddle to raise funds for your favourite charity when doing your normal shopping. You are getting what you need and helping others everyday, what's not to love about this?

The easyfundraising donation reminder is an excellent extension and works extremely well. If I search for anything in chrome any participating shops (and there are loads) will have a 'donation available' above the link and a big pink 'get up to (%) donation' button below. You just click on the button under the link you want and it will quickly take you to the website via easyfundraising. If you go direct without clicking the pink button you will get a pop up instead and you just click yay or nay (though why you would want to click nay). I have raised £172.93 for my village community group through my internet shopping, just by using this extension. What's not to like. Hassle free fundraising.

Great tool to remind me to collect a donation - in particular from stores I am not aware are a part of Easy Fundraising. It saves having to log in to EF first and go straight to the store. Love it.

Easy and quick to install and use, and makes sure that my chosen cause gets all the donations it can. A really good idea when shopping online, especially on the run up to Christmas when I am buying presents for others as well.

Easy to fundraise! Such a simple way to raise money for your school using your everyday shop. The extension just reminds you when you are on relevant sites and the donations accumulate nicely. Shame it doesn't pop up on the Amazon page, but if you go through the main easyfundraising site then you can get to the Amazon page there and then a percentage will go to your chosen school etc.

Good reminder. But I do not like its size,its too big and hides a largish proportion of the screen . specially when I visit the site of purchase to check the product or do anything else than buy

The app works very well. It would be better if it would automatically log in on some websites at least, but it's a very good way to raise donations for good causes anyway.

Thank you. The reminder system is extremely useful whenever I'm browsing and shopping on-line. If I'm in a hurry and have forgotten to ask if an easyfundraising donation is applicable to my search and/or purchase, then the reminder prompts me and thus maximises the amount that is raised.

I've installed this on my laptop and it is now so easy to get the donations. Next step should be to extend this automatic capability to phones as currently you need to either go to the website via the easyfundraising app before going to the checkout

This is great, I place a lot of online orders in my job so use this every day, its great to know that im raising money for good causes and that I can choose which charity I'm donating to.

I think that this extension is a fantastic idea and it can be used for great causes. However, there are several issues that I feel should be addressed to greatly improve user experience: 1. Reminders are overly intrusive. I think having a donation reminder is a brilliant idea, and it has helped me contribute to a cause more than once. However, reminders seem to persistently pop up unless one of two conditions are met: either I activate the donation, or I click on 'Remind me later'. I think that it is hard to miss the reminder since it takes up such a large proportion of the page, so it feels overly intrusive that it continues to pop up if neither of the conditions is met. This becomes especially frustrating if I am on a site where I am trying to quickly browse for certain products without the intention of making a purchase in that session - from my point of view, it would be more intuitive for the reminder to disappear if I am not interacting with it, because that means I am not interested in the offers at that particular moment. Therefore, I feel that having a reminder pop up once per site per session, regardless of whether the reminder was interacted with, would be sufficient and would not become overbearing. 2. Not all reminders are helpful. This point shares a similar sentiment to the one above regarding reminders becoming overly intrusive. There are certain sites (e.g., existing broadband provider) that I visit, where I am not intending to make a purchase (e.g., to check latest bill) or where I will never make a qualifying purchase (e.g., not a new customer). I find it problematic that I still have to interact with the reminders every session even though they serve no benefit to me or the causes in the long run. Instead, I would much prefer to see an option to permanently mute reminders for certain sites after receiving the first reminder. 3. Donations can differ between the mobile app and the web extension. I have noticed that the Amazon donations are unavailable on the extension, but they are available on the mobile app. This is particularly confusing as I would expect both versions to share the same offers, rather than being forced to use a particular device to make purchases in order to contribute to the causes. 4. Donations lack transparency. I find it difficult to know what purchases qualify for a donation, as the details are not accessible from the extension. I find this particularly jarring when compared to the mobile app, which specifies what offers are available, so I often have to manually check these details whilst shopping with the extension. When I click on a specific retailer on the extension, I would expect to see a similar list of the offers prior to continuing onto their site. Otherwise, I fear that the 'Up to X% donation' messages become misleading because users do not have an accessible way to check how much they will actually contribute to their causes.

It is a bit intrusive but then again we have raise over £260 for our cause just by shopping.

Really like having this pop up to remind me when donations are available about 95% of the time. There are a few sites where it's not helpful and keeps popping up in an annoying way, but that's for ones like iStock which I use for work to identify potential images but don't make purchases on myself so can't claim. Otherwise this is great and stops me forgetting to raise funds. Every small amount helps!

Nice easy reminders in your browser when you visit a compatible website so you never forget to donate while you shop online. Just click "Get Donation" and shop. Afterwards you'll get an email letting you know how much has been donated to your chosen charity. :)

This is a super easy way for me to raise much needed funds for the school, every time I shop at ebay, or buy a train ticket, etc a little pop up asks me either to "remind me later" if I'm just browsing, or "get donation" by a single click and shop in the normal way. I like the updates on how much I have raised, by doing actually nothing atall !

Without this handy reminder I would forget to use easyfundraising! I run an animal rescue and easyfundraising helps our funds, but being busy I forget to use it - with the pop up reminder I never miss it!

Always useful shopping on-line :o) The reminder pops up about 2" square, takes me back to the website I was watching. We never use Amazon, so can't comment, but always works on ebay etc. I don't have any problem with oversize reminder or use of memory

Raising money for Bold Voices - helping young people, teachers and parents navigate tricky conversations about gendered violence and inequality - such great work being done! It's just brilliant that I can raise money for this social enterprise by doing pretty much nothing - just shopping in the right places! Great for businesses and great for the causes that need the financial support. It's a win/win. Not sure why everyone in the world isn't signed up!

A great way to be reminded every time I shop online that I can raise much needed funds for my local cancer charity. It's great!

This is a very easy way to make sure you are buying online with your easyfundraising 'account' activated. You get reminded if it is not activated but I have only given four stars as I find that particularly with some sites you keep getting reminded even though you have just activated the donation. This happens constantly with eBay which is the platform I make most of my purchases and hopefully donations. If you active again you get taken back to the website home page which can be very frustrating and I have a tendency to just click the cross to get rid of the activation banner and have sometimes then lost the donation. It is a great idea to have a reminder but it has it's drawbacks! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ As an update on May 2021 Easyfundraising must have listened to comments people have raised and I am pleased to say the donation reminder now works very well and they have corrected the problem where by activating a donation takes you back to the website homepage. The reminder is excellent as it will automatically let you know if the website you are visiting will allow donations. I now rely on this reminder rather than searching through the Easyfundraising website for eligible companies. All you need to do is download the reminder extension for your web browser. Easy as that!! I have now given 5 Stars...

This is the perfect way to make sure that I buy through Easyfundraising and raise money for my chosen charity. I think that without the reminder, I might miss many opportunities. I would like to see this added as an app on my phone too.
