It's not working, please fix support for a 5 star. Also it appears that the issue might be with Site access, in the default there is https://*.quip.com/* and my company has a slightly different domain with Quip, i dont see a way to edit or add new domains here. how can we fix that??

This does not work if the domain does not end in *.quip.com. Request to be able to change to custom domain name for any org.

Does not work. Quip links in my outlook emails and in Chrome tabs is still opening in Chrome, instead of the Quip desktop app (which was the entire purpose of installing this extension).
Works great! Only nitpick I have is that it will leave the empty browser tab open.

Something isn't clear, When I click on the app, it just keeps opening up the chrome web store. Not sure what I'm missing.
Worked for one document link in an email, but did not work when I clicked a Quip link in my Gcal. Defeats the purpose if it only opens some links and not others. Was very excited about this extension...
This extension seems to be totally broken. When you click a Quip Link it still opens in the browser and never goes to the desktop app. Not sure why it has not been either removed or fixed given all the comments saying the same as this one.
same as everyone else, this plugin does not open Quip documents in Desktop App, rather it just opens the extension page.
I like it. Please start to download when I click *.quip.com link if I don't have quip local app.
Doesn't work. Quip links in 3rd party apps or even in quip do not open the desktop client. Quip links addon was freshly installed and the desktop client is fully up to date.
Like many others, this does NOT work. I guess Quip does not care about updating this either. Very sad.
Installed it, click quip links - they open in Chrome not Quip app. This is Chrome for Mac.
Tried using this extension with version 5.3.17. Clicking on the web link simply opens the web page, not the desktop app.

I tried this tool with Quip 5.0.56 and works as described, which is really helpful. Is there a way to automatically close the Chrome tab that gets created in the process? when working with a large set of links and documents through the day, too many blank Chrome tabs get opened :-)
Is great when it is working. However, with the recent update to Quip 5.0.0, it appears to no longer work.
