this was not good

Requires uninstalling and reinstalling it many times, irritating af.

Regularly uninstalls itself from chrome. Sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

No frills, but as the IT Admin this helps with SSO. For it to be useful you need to have your laptop on Intune as well and signed in with your work or school account.

It won't work, I still have to sign in manually each time.

I've installed this to use Chrome with our corporate MFA, still doesn't let me in. Oh well.

It works...sometimes...maybe...I think. Work pushes it, so stuck w/ it in Chrome. Thankfully, there are other browsers =)

Such a useless extension. Not working at all. I can see other comments & still it is not resolved which shows how much MS is making it better. I need to access my university form but due to this it wont let me & Edge said my computer doesn't meet organisation policy.

Same issues as explained below: I must install this extension in order to use SSO with my company's applications. However, the extension is already installed. Have to refresh multiple times in order for Chrome to realize / remember that it is actually already installed.

This extension was causing AzureAD to fail to load w/ error, and M365 Office Home to load blank with no recent documents listed. Probably caused other issues I didn't make the connection. This just started this past week.

I'm being asked to install this extension to access Azure websites though I already have it installed. This was working till recently but now, not anymore. Fix it ASAP.

Does not work. My organization keeps telling me to install the extension and won't let me access our internal sites until it's installed. The problem is I've had this extension for at least six months and it worked fine until the last few updates..

Not sure why, but this extension, and this one only seems to disappear. I need it to authenticate to an SSO site for AZAD, and it disappears every other time I close my browser. Very obnoxious. I am on Windows 10.

This needs some test. Or, it directs us to use Microsoft Edge browser. (I am tired of browser competition between Google and Microsoft)

I tried to sign in with my microsoft employee account with the extension enabled but it is not working. I am on Windows 11. Cleared the cache but that did not help.

Hi All, Have you seen issue where ServiceWorker for Windows account extension has been unregistered automatically and causing on Azure wesbite (Portal.office.com) to stop working. Error "You can't get there from here). Windows account extension is still enabled and active. There only option to register serviceworker back is to go into the Windows Account extension details and turn ON /OFF allow incognito mode option.

In my opinion its a good extension, a useful one even. But it has its faults.

It works most of the time. Except for the occasions where it stops working inexplicably, and the Outlook webapp claims this extension isn't installed. Clearing cookies solves this for me, but it's stupid that such a workaround is needed, especially when the error message is completely wrong. I went several weeks reverting to running Outlook in Edge, assuming that some corporate security policy had gotten more restrictive before figuring this out the first time.

Only barely works. If Azure Services wants me to log in after leaving the browser idle overnight, after I log in, Azure reports "You can't get there from here," and "you need to install the Windows Accounts extension." Which is already installed. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star and say it's abysmal is that I can click a saved link into Azure Services after that, and it lets me in anyway. (But this might happen even with the browser extension uninstalled!)

This worked great for a while in my environment until the last update. I didn't change any of my GPO's or settings, even rolled back my VDI to see if a security update broke it, nope. It now gets stuck on "Redirecting" and stays there. If i go to the extension and either turn on or off the "Allow incognito" It will start working again until cache is cleared. If it is on, i turn it off, if it is off I turn it on "Fixes" it.

"The Chrome extension is not supported on your version of Windows. You need to be on Windows 10 version 1703 or higher." Ain't Windows 11 21H2 higher enough for you, Microsoft? You can't get your own addon to work with your own OS.

Deployed in my organisation and a handful of people are having intermittent issues with the device ID not populating. Tried to contact the developer and got a bounce back: The groups only accept messages from people in their organization or on their allowed senders list, and your email address isn't on the lists. Anyone know how to contact the developer? #Microsoft

From Chrome settings: "The administrator of this device has installed extensions for additional functions: Permissions * Read and change all your data on all websites" No need to add anything.

Had an issue that was quickly resolved. Great team in the backend!

Initially I've had issues with running it, Team quickly fixed the issue and now it works fine

This doesn't seem to work for Conditional Access anymore for Windows 10 21H1 OS Build 19043.1288. When I try to load anything that needs CA it says I need Windows 10 at least 1706.

Works great! I have two work accounts (on two different domains), and it work perfectly on Windows 11.

This thing intermittently determines my device is not a domain joined device and prevents me from accessing corp sites. If I wait a few hours and change nothing else, I can visit the site.

We have this being pushed out by a GP but it only works on about 60% of our devices.

My school is monitoring my every move with this application. In fact, this entire computer is bugged. They listen to me and they watch me. I have opened up the computer and destroyed every microphone and optical sensor. I promise you I will never stop fighting. This. is. war. Soon enough they will be placing devices in my walls. Not working.

Ridiculously, this is filed in the "productivity" catalog... When 99% of us installed it because some busy-body in the "security" department made us waste time on in... No software in the world will prevent someone who isn't secure from exposing sensitive data or operations. Especially not if we have to waste our time with this kinda stuff, instead of learning about security, what hackers try to do and how our systems work and what's our role in setting up the system so that it cannot be hacked (hint: none of it is a chrome extension)

We are running into issues using this extension with cefsharp for azure AD authentication account do not have conditional access have no problems but any account have conditional access implement login brakes with device id error. Any help is apricated.

Works partially. We have enabled Seamless SSO, which works in IE, and Edge - But in Chrome we do not get the seamless experience. I need to select my username.

Working previously and stopped working few weeks ago. Extension is failing to work as of today. I'm getting the following error: The Chrome extension is not supported on your version of Windows. You must be on Windows 10 version 1703 and above. Alternatively, you can use Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer to access this application. I'm on Windows 10 1903 with the latest Chrome update.

This seems to work haphazardly on some PCs it works as expected and on others it does not. I don't see any obvious reason in one case or the other.

This extension works with Chrome itself, however, it does not seem to work with Microsoft Teams. It seems that Microsoft Teams (think client) uses a chrome extension when rendering a web page within a Team's tab. When you have Conditional Access policies that look at the device (trusted vs. non-trusted), it does not recognize the device. Is there any fix for this to allow the extension to be accessed via Microsoft Teams??

Installed by admin (so I cannot disable) now I cannot use my works outlook unless I am in incognito mode. Microsoft has a real problem with dealing with Work vs Personal accounts. Ran into a similar problem with office 365 when my work and personal one drives merged. NOT COOL

I continue to hide this extension and every day it appears back on my extensions list, unhidden.
