When you save a Web page as a Web archive, the page is saved as an MHTML file. Any relative links in the HTML will be remapped so the content can be located. Relative links are those that don't include all information about the location of the content but assume all content is in a directory on the host server
MHTML files may also go by the extension MHT.

Reviews of save as mhtml:
It's downloading text but not images which makes it almost useless for much of my needs.
I was relying on this for all of my page-saving needs. Then the update completely made this extension obsolete. Does not work at all! DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
Revert to past version! It can't download many websites anymore. And do not change icon in every update!
