What’s new in version 2.11?

                This extension assists with identifying timestamps on Twitch VODs by providing a tool for searching chat comments within a VOD. The idea is that if we are looking for some topic in a VOD, chat will be talking about it -- so we can find the comments and grab the timestamp off of the comment in the VOD.

This tool supports standard search operators and regular expressions.

1) Migrated to Manifest Version 3
2) Fixed issues with background process changes at Twitch which broke the code
3) Increased the speed of download
Known issues: 
1) user images are no longer loading due to availability. A new solution is being investigated and the user interface will be updated accordingly in the next update.

   a) clicking in the timeline will open the VOD at that timestamp.

As of 03/31/2023 this extension in no longer working for me. The extension becomes stuck on "Initiating vod chat extraction... You can start searching now" but then never returns any search results. It had been working perfectly up until the last couple weeks though!

Doesnt work as of today. There is a black bar showing NaN% complete and pressing the buttons dont do anything.

Final edit: A patch was sent out and the tool works again. Everything I said here holds up, and the extension works once again. Huge thanks to the dev. Has been very useful for catching up on context from VODs without skimming the whole thing and several hours of stream. easy to skip to specific topics, re-find specific interactions, etc. especially useful for catching up on or searching for topics since twitch's notification system is garbage and sends you live notifications 15-45 minutes late. Unfortunately, as of today it is broken. opening the extension leaves it stuck on "Initiating vod chat extraction... You can start searching now." without ever loading. would love to see it working again Edit: I would like to point out that I really do appreciate the QOL provided by this extension, and I use it all the time. If the dev has a Ko-fi or some other tipping service, I'd be more than happy to contribute to it for the service this has provided me. Unless some API weirdness has made it now impossible for this to function, I'd love to see this fixed, as I consider the loss of this extension a great loss for the user experience on Twitch
