Summarize (ChatGPT & Bard) is a productivity chrome extension. it's a free extension and is featured in Productivity, it has 120 active users since released its first version, it earns an average rating of 3.00 from 2 rated user, last update is 400 days ago.
(Update: This extension is compatible with GPT-4 and Google Bard!) This extension adds a right-click option when longer article selected on a webpage. After licking the 'Summarize' button the extension redirects to ChatGPT or Google Bard and enters the selected text to the AI LLM engine. This way you may only read the short, summarized content, which will make your life much easier. In settings, you may choose: - Large Language Model (LLM) to use (GPT-4, GPT 3.5, and Google Bard) - Desired length of the summarized text (one line, one paragraph, two paragraphs or three paragraphs) Please note that currently there are the following input character limits: - ChatGPT: 10,000 characters (~2,000 words) - Google Bard: 4,000 characters (~800 words) This extension cuts the selected text at the maximum input limit, to avoid any error in the LLMs.
You could download the latest version crx file or older version files and install it.

This extension is useless... all it does is open chatgpt and paste the text (you have already copied) into it... nothing done about the length issue of chatgpt and the 'selection' of how many paragraphs does not work (cannot change it). In addition - chatGPT never listens to those either so very bad prompt here... Would rate it 0 as it is useless but had to give it a 1.
Very simple hence very useful extension for ChatGPT users.
