Make the New Tab page exactly what you want. From minimalist to a statement piece, the choice is yours! The goal of CaretTab is full customization allowing you to make it as simple or complex as you like. With the CaretTab New Tab page you get complete choice in how your start page looks.
The main focus of this new tab page is the clock. You have all the options at your disposal here. You choose the time zone you use. Set 12 or 24 hour time. Optionally display seconds, meridiem (am/pm), delimiters, labels and more. You can even choose an analog or binary clock design. Need to track time in multiple locations? Add as many additional clocks, all of which are just as customizable.
Display the date next to the clock. You can choose which time zone that date is based on. Display it in any format you wish! Optionally display the year, month, day, and day of week. A week number option is also available.
Make it fit your personality with color and background image options! You can choose from a preset list or custom colors for both the background and foreground. Select from one of the many built-in patterns, choose a list from Unsplash.com for a daily random photo, or choose your own photo as the new tab wallpaper! Set filters on the background for a customized look, ensuring the text remains clear. Select from many fonts or your own font installed on your machine!
Enable weather to see current conditions and forecast. Optionally enable current weather or the forecast or both! Make it yours by choosing fahrenheit or celsius, metric or imperial, toggle the degree symbol, toggle weather icons, set number of days in forecast, and more!
Get quick access to your favorite websites via two distinct options. Display the bookmarks bar to show a list of your favorites saved in the browser. Or choose the Quick Links option to manually add any link you like. Favicons can be optionally displayed as well as browser links such as bookmark manager, history, and most visited.
Jot down your ideas quickly with a handy notepad widget. Search the web from the new tab page. Choose from a wide range of search engines from Google to GitHub. Enter your own label and choose the size of the search bar. Add a custom greeting of your choice to the new tab with complete options for the size it displays.
